Buds are forming nicely, the Hulkberry has a sugary scent, very pleasant looks like very green weed, vibrant. Leafs are showing some cal mag deficiency, I’m using RO water, but supplementing with cal mag, and leafs still demonstrating that for a wile, could be the led to cloase, checked the runoff ec 1.4 and ph 6.5 looks normal, tested the soilless, is between 6.5 and 7. This looks like a more fragile strain, wile by the side i have a heavy feeder, and a normal feeder, runing three distinct diets is out of question at this point... The Purpple kush smells like candy and is really purpple and the unknown strain is like mint with a strong indica look. I’m going to be away for 7days so I intalled a drip sistem and I’m hopping it does the trick...

D1 What a beast! The main bud is already huge af and she still has like 4-6 weeks of flowering up front, love her already. D5 It’s going alright 👍 In general the buds are getting big and heavy especially the main one. D7 End of week 12, 6 weeks of flowering behind 5 to go so happy with those big buds already.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. So last week I accidentally posted pictures of the other phenotype of gorilla cookies in this diary. She's doing great though. By far the biggest plant in my tent currently. Feeding with med man brand nutes, kind bud base at 600 ppm and half a g of bloom per l of water

Deje las plantas al cuidado de mí Hermano por las vacaciones. Crecieron mucho en dos semanas un cambio increíble. Voy a tener que hacer un último LST. Ya mañana subo buenas fotos.

Buenos terpenos y buena cosecha.

Uneventful week, hot, dry, defoliating a little inside, drip every 3 days, still doing foliar spray for pests. Flower sites are slowly developing, really just beginning. Should easily be finished be end of Sept.

Finished week 2 of flower. I have been inspecting every single leaf for PM and have found a few spots, but quickly spot treated with solution. I have learned that PM is a SYSTEMIC disease and the spots on leaves are a symptom of an already infected plant. So the best thing I can do is keep the symptoms in check by spot spraying and its working! Only a few burned leaves as a result, but nothing like my first grow where it was widespread! Defoliated to thin out a bit and allow for better airflow. Light LST to a few of the taller stems to maintain an even canopy. Overall, I am happy with the way my 2nd indoor grow is progressing.

Cheese is just about done flushing. I will be cutting her down in less than a week. The smell is very pungent and it is covered in trichromes.
