Was having quite a bit of difficulty with leaves yellowing, turning brown, and dying off. Couldn’t figure out what the deal was. Finally I ended up getting the ph up/down kit with the wide range PH tester. Learned that lesson the hard way. Mid way through the week when it was delivered, I put a bit of water through and tested the run off… 4.5 🤦‍♂️ Can’t believe I overlooked this. Used fox farms sledgehammer and added ph up, put water in at about 7.5/8.0 and tested the run off again and ideal ph was attained. Hopefully smooth sailing from here on out.

I'm a little late on the update, super busy. Everything is still looking good. I took 2 of the smallest clones down as a sample. Other than slightly harsh due to quick dry is was good for early. First day of week 4 flower day 22- Took some shots of a few bud sites, that are looking well and that should start to frost up pretty heavy once in full gear. Increasing the EC slightly 1.6/1.7 around 800ppm for those that don't know. Trying not to overfeed but get to the sweet spot of tlwhat the plants want and require. Respectfully it is my first run with this strain and Breeder but nothing but good things so far. I managed to take some clones so that I can push the strain better the next run and incase I get a special pheno! But so far so good. The buds should start to go through a fattening period once the flower stretch is completely out the way. Will be back to report and show some more pics/videos as the week goes on. Day 79 11/28/2021- Welcome to week four of flower. Today fed nutrients and did a defoliation to take off the smaller buds that won’t get enough light. Day 81 11/30/2021- Just water her today. Day 82 12/01/2021- Trying something new. Day 83 12/02/2021- Water day for them. Also camera needed update but made it work. IOS/ANDRIOD PAR METER APP. Week 10. The smell is insanely strong — like hot tar and roadwork, super loud, super skunky.

05/12/21 - PRE FLOWER: The plants have certainly grown in size and most bud sites are showing the beginnings of pistils. - Some leaves have purple spots - This could be phosphorus deficiency. I am feeding a healthy dose of blooming nutrients - so this could be a heat issue as the temp does get below 20 often. I have decided to invest in a heat mat. Had to defoliate some bud sites on some plants as I was an IDIOT and but a blow fan heater close to warm up - so I have lost some bud sights maybe 10% overall - lesson learnt. I hope this hasn't stressed the plants out too much. Lights are at 100% brightness.

Week 6 update: What up Grow family. These testers are growing fast and strong. Where in week 6 now and the swelling and ripening of flowers are going amazing. Still feeding 500ml/16oz daily as I've found that's the sweet spot for 3gal fabric pots for these. I'd say these probably have about 2 weeks left until they'll be finished. All in all Happy Growing.

With this strain I vegged for 5 weeks and flowered for just over 10 weeks. The plants produced some impressive size buds with minimal popcorn bud. The buds are coated in trichomes which produce a sweaty-like resin which I haven’t seen before. Man this plant is LOUD - I loved it.

05/19/2020 All going well, have to grow in containers this season, I might be moving before harvest so only veggies in the ground. But all are adjusting well 😊 I will give more details on individual plants shortly #1 is10" tall new growth looks good getting thick. #2 is 11.5" tall #4 is 7" tall but healthy #5 is 16"

Purple shine a bien repris son développement, niveau racines il va être temps de la rempoter une bonne masse racinaire commence à sortir du air pot. Le 25/04 seconde taille des branches principales, de 2 apex cela va passer à quatre😉, apport de solution nutritive pour réduire le stress de la taille(terragrow 1,5ml, katanaroot 0,2ml, silicon 1ml, calmag 0,5ml). Maintenant repos pour cette demoiselle avant la prochaine taille😉 Purple shine semble reprendre assez vite sa végétation après une taille. Ses branches sont bien épaisse ajout de silice et a participé.

This new setup uses both my AGLEX 1200 lights and my MARS HYDRO TS1000 but I'm not using the AGLEX just yet as I'm sticking to the MARS HYDRO for the start of veg.
