Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Le LST est fini mon tronc en forme de colonne vertébrale fais un tour sur lui meme (vidéo jour32) cette forme me satisfait pleinement je décide donc de retirer la majorité des fil de fer servant au LST Le pincage d'Apex offre à la plante une canopé homogène (photo jour 32 34) Jour33 arrosage avec 2 litres d'eau ph6 à laquelle j'ajoute 0.5ml de topmax biobizz (dosage très léger pour ne pas provoquer un lock-out) cela favorisera son entrée en floraison. J'effectue une légère defolliation pour permettre une meilleure pénétration lumineuse aux apexs du bas. Quesque la defolliation ? LES CULTIVATEURS AMATEURS, PRENEZ GARDE, MAIS NE PRENEZ PAS PEUR La défoliation consiste à retirer les feuilles des plants de cannabis en intérieur afin d'accroître le rendementfinal. Le cultivateur amateur doit faire preuve de vigilance lorsqu'il commence à appliquer cette technique de taille. Malgré le débat sans fin entre ceux qui prônent cette technique et ceux qui la dénigre, il n'y aucune raison pour qu'un amateur ne s'y essaie pas afin de voir si ça lui convient ou non. COMMENT DÉFOLIER Que vous tailliez les feuilles ou les branches des plants de cannabis, il vaut mieux utiliser un sécateur stérile qui est confortable en main. Arracher des feuilles à la main manque de finesse et engendre souvent par accident, l'arrachement des couches d'une tige en plus de la feuille. L'objectif principal de la défoliation est de permettre une meilleure pénétration de la lumière et de promouvoir la production de plus grosses têtes. Les feuilles éventails qui font de l'ombre doivent être retirées. Tailler la tige principale et/ou les pousses secondaires n'est pas de la défoliation. La règle d'or lorsque vous donnez à vos plantes un rafraîchissement est de commencer avec les feuilles nourricières les plus grandes et les plus larges, en taillant du bas vers le haut. Il est important de retirer les feuilles stratégiquement et non pas au hasard. Pensez également qu'il vous faut limiter votre rafraîchissement à approximativement 10 à 20 % des feuilles totales de votre pied. Il est très facile de s'emporter durant la taille et de se retrouver avec des plantes chauves. Un excès de taille de feuilles empêchera la photosynthèse et paralysera vos plants. QUAND FAUT-IL DÉFOLIER Il est assez rare d'appliquer la défoliation comme seule technique pour obtenir un fort rendement. La taille des feuilles est généralement associée à d'autres méthodes de tailles et de palissage pour un meilleur rendement telles que le topping ou étêtage, le FIMming, le LST, le manifolding, le supercropping et le ScrOG. Les cultivateurs utilisant la méthode ScrOG auront besoin de retirer toutes les croissances inférieures ainsi que les feuilles et les tiges se trouvant sous le filet. Les plants de cannabis peuvent être défoliés dès lors qu'ils sont passés de la phase de plantule vers la phase de croissance végétative. Cependant, il est recommandé aux cultivateurs amateurs de laisser aux plantes 1 à 2 semaines de croissance végétative avant de s'attaquer à la défoliation de celles-ci. De plus, certaines variétés sont plus sensibles à la taille que d'autres et de ce fait, seront plus stressées par la taille des feuilles. Surveillez minutieusement le comportement de vos plants après la taille. Une période de convalescence de minimum 3 à 7 jours avant de recommencer la défoliation est fortement recommandée pour éviter trop de stress aux plants. Les cultivateurs peuvent également défolier pendant la phase de floraison, ce qui permettra à l'énergie de la plante d'être concentrée vers la production de têtes tout en limitant l'ombre et l'excès d'humidité. Néanmoins, il est important de ne pas défolier trop tard sous peine de simplement blesser ses plants inutilement. LES AVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Évidemment, l'avantage numéro un de la défoliation, c'est l'augmentation du potentiel de rendement de cette technique de taille pour tous types de cannabis allant de la photopériode aux variétés autofloraison. Ce n'est pas un secret que les fleurs qui reçoivent plus de lumières deviennent plus grandes et larges que celles dissimulées dans l'ombre des feuilles. De plus, retirer les feuilles intérieures des plants touffus aide à prévenir toutes menaces de moisissure. Les plants très feuillus avec un feuillage intérieur dense produiront une quantité importante de têtes pop-corn. Dans le pire des cas, les branches de têtes et les têtes qui sont denses succomberont au pourrissement. Si vous observez des gouttes d'eau se former sur la surface des feuilles, il est grand temps de penser à faire de la défoliation. Libérer la zone inférieure et médiane des feuilles est un excellent moyen d'améliorer la circulation de l'air. LES DÉSAVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Les plants de cannabis en intérieur bénéficient de la défoliation pour deux raisons. La première est parce qu'ils reçoivent la lumière d'une source stationnaire au-dessus d'eux, et la deuxième est parce que les conditions environnementales sont contrôlées par le cultivateur et non Mère Nature. Les plants d'extérieurs eux, n'y gagnent pas beaucoup, car les cas échéants se vérifient pour eux. Le soleil traverse le ciel, illuminant sur sa route, différentes portions de la plante de son lever à son coucher. Les cultivateurs en extérieur n'ont pas besoin de manipuler les plantes afin qu'elles se développent en adoptant une structure plate puisque le soleil est infiniment plus puissant que n'importe quelle lampe de culture et qui plus est, il est toujours en mouvement. Tailler les feuilles des plants extérieurs les rend également plus vulnérables aux conditions humides et brise leurs barrières naturelles contres les nuisibles. De nombreux cultivateurs d'intérieur peuvent, et malheureusement, c'est souvent le cas, réduire le rendement final à cause d'une défoliation faite au mauvais moment et/ou excessive. Tailler les plantules n'est pas conseillé et engendre souvent des plants nains. Scalper les plants matures est encore pire, et au lieu d'obtenir de longues branches de têtes, vous obtiendrez probablement encore moins de fleurs. De même, tailler des plants malades ou en mauvaise santé à n'importe quelle période de la croissance risque de paralyser la croissance plutôt que d'encourager la formation de fleurs denses. This lady got cut on day 63, I am extremely impressed with how she turned out considering she got nothing but PHed water the entire grow! She is extremely sticky & frosty and has a unbelievable smell everytime you open the jar! Definitely one of my favorite strains I have grown so far can’t wait to see how she does using nutrients next grow! Day 92: Going to try a week without nutrients. The slurry test was good. I am either over or underwatering. Cannot seem to get it correct this time. However, after last night's watering, she is a lot less droopy. Day 93: no pictures. Added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Day 94: nothing to report other than she is drinking rapidly and looking healthier. Day 95: added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Almost no runoff. Day 96: added one gallon of pH6.5 water with nutrients Day 97: nothing to report. Trimmed some leaves that never survived the yellowing. Day 98: nothing to report. Decided to let her dry another day.

I harvested the bottom half exactly one week after the top :)) I could weight precisely this time, 126g wet for the 4 branches with stem. Should be ~100g of wet buds, 150g for the top so ~250g in total (40/50g dry maybe?). I’m happy with that, it’s more than I expected for this plant First half is 30.1g trimmed :) I’m trimming the next half in one week

Week Five and Flowering has begun Will fold in Bio-Bloom and replace Fix Mix with Bio-grow , may add some Phos via top dressing as well. Yellowing continues to recede just not fast enough for my comfort. Brandy has obviously stunted considerably and Maggie at least somewhat. Could not expect differently Moving to Flowering tent soon as its clear, couple of days at most 10/28 UPDATE Going to play on a couple of hunches at next watering. Need to get a TDS meter soon, got a feeling it would help. Ever since we went to BioBizz we have experienced a variety of oddness in the vein of this grow. Now long term since we are switching to coco and Flora nuet line that is solved but short term I am switching to Dr. Earth Flower Girl for remainder of grow. Every feeding/watering will be @6.5 PH to 20% run off and checking PH on that. Of course this will be modified based on results. Schedule is a single top dressing at 4 tbs (roughly 2 tsp per gal of soil) covering with 1/2 inch min of coco and 50% perlite as a mulch. Layla must go on her own feeding schedule as she is just so much bigger and drinking well. Will do the feed when moving to Flowering tent in a day or so as that will be about time to water. She looks good if a little darker green than I like. Were it only Layla I might not suspect anything... meh Here is where Grow Diaries saved the day , by going back and looking at past grows we came to suspect the nuet change although initially results were great problems always seemed to follow. In my reaction to that, not knowing, I may have made other mistakes, likely in fact. Its a solid organic and may head off some issues. Simplify As for Bandy and Maggie, still have that bottle of H2O2 on the shelf, need to see some serious improvement real soon. Getting to be now or never Later: Talked to the owner of a hydroponics store who is also a long time grower that knows these nuet lines cold. His take is that it is absolutely the Bio-Bizz nuets, seems they are hard to run alone as they have holes in their make up which will cause mystery deficiencies in some plants and soil mixes. That really pisses me off LoL , my fault though just glad I have partial explanation. Good thing is he was able to show me the CocoTek Grow and Bloom lines and that is going to be the choice, two part feed without complications. Simplify heheh 10/29 Confirmed the dye reading of pot PH on all three by another method. Took a handful sized soil sample from as deep as I could of each pot and placed into a cup, soaked with 7.0 water let stand 15 minutes to stabilize, tested pour off, all at 6.7 so that is NOT the problem. Damn it This is the reasoning: Water goes into the pot at 6.4-6.5 takes the entire system to that level temporarily, it then begins bringing it up to 6.7-6.8ish and that friends covers the entire range of nuet take-up in soil. Going to cheat a bit high and make it 6.5 solid as its good on acid content. Least thats how I see it, back to basics so may as well. Top dressing Layla today with Flower Girl, others follow when pots dry out a bit more. Moved to Flowering Tent , something came up and they still have not been feed will try and do it this afternoon. 10/30 Fed Recharge 0.5 tsp - Kangaroots 5ml - CalMag 5ml - PH 6.5 for one gallon over 4 tbs top dressing Dr. Earth Flower Girl and one inch of mulch (50% coco/perlite) 11/1 Defoliated Layla (about 3%) so the center of the plant gets good light, did a little training on Brandy to keep things dry, Maggie... man just letting it grow I am just flabbergasted at this yellow leaf thing Pics at watering tomorrow 11/2 No water today, they dont need it.

First of all I give Fast Buds a 10 on the strain and give myself a 5 for my mistakes during the grow. I did alot of mistake, but got my harvest. Thx FastBuds and all who followed me:)

These big girls are growing phenomenal. It's been a while since I've grown this strain and wow I don't remember them getting this big. Flower period has started but they're not done with the final stretch which is wild. Definitely have a great smell to them. All in all Happy

08/08/18 - Day 22 looking good especially after the minor bump in the road, the wire I bought for the LST is doing it’s job for the time being but I will be buying some proper stuff on the weekend. ✌️🏻 10/08/18 - did more LST last night and their responding well except one, I did some minor defoliation of some fan leaves hogging the 💡 11/08/18 - plant #3 is finally getting into feel of the LST and is looking a lot happier, but girl #1 & #2 are just going with the flow and killing it, my first time doing LST like this and I wish I started doing it two harvest ago 😂👌🏻 13/08/18 - watered each plant with 2 litres each 💧plant number #3 has a slight kink in it from the LST it has been a pain for it the main stem has hardly any flexibility but the other two are 👍🏻

One or two more day will start flushing 2 of the girls other two need Anthor week or so at least

She looks very healthy and happy, she's fatting those flowers, she's very sticky, wonderful resin production and very very sweet aromas, just like her sisters, let's see how she turns out. I love her so far! 😍🤤❄️

Day 100 Day 57 Flower 06/07/24 Saturday Flushed with de-chlorinated tap water today pH 6.0. Flushing using 10L of water with Flawless finish- I'll be using this every other flush. , getting 50% run off, I can't measure ppm, I have ordered the tool to start learning this way also. I haven't measured run off ppms before so will be interesting to see. Smelling pungent, deep greens of colour coming through, hoping over the next 2 weeks she swells as she is not as dense as I was hoping 😅 Day 10day 58 Flower 07/07/24 Sunday No feed /water today letting her dry off a little more. Updated with a short 🤩💚 Day 102 Day 59 Flower 08/07/24 Monday De-chlorinated tap Water 5L pH 6.0 + 3L Water +calmag 5ml to keep her from deficiency during 1st week of flush. Updated a short video 😁 She's getting there. Day 103 Day 60 Flower 09/07/24 Tuesday No water, letting her dry off again ABIT, noticing a huge amount of trichome production, updated a short to see 😍. Day 104 Day 61 Flower 10/07/24 Wednesday Another 10L flush today , de-chlorinated tap water pH 6.0 with flawless finish. 10ml flawless finish to 10L water. Updated pictures and video. Day 105 Day 62 Flower 11/07/24 Thursday Last day of the week, another big flush today! 10L de-chlorinated tap water pH 6.0 with 10ml Flawless finish 👌 Trichomes...😍 She maybe a 21 day flush we'll see how she goes next week with ripening. Hola gente, como va? Bueno, gracias a que estoy cada una hora o dos mirando la planta, me di cuenta que una de las puntas estaba blanca pero "rara". La saque afuera para que aproveche el sol y le de mas viento, y ahi vi el hongo como se puede apreciar en el video. Gracias a dios fue en solo esa punta, ni siquiera en la rama entera, asi que me fije hasta donde lo habia "tomado" y corte. Un amigo que estudia quimica, medicina y le gusta mucho la biologia me dijo que el Botrytis no es un hongo patogeno (o algo asi) y que con calor ya es posible matarlo, no es tan perjudicial como muchos dicen/piensan. Cuestion que para "matar" el hongo prendimos el horno a una temperatura que pudieramos meter la mano y no quemarnos, lo apagamos y en una fuente pusimos el cogollo con el hongo, y dejamos hasta que se enfrie solo. Repeti el proceso 2 veces mas (siempre calentando antes de meter el cogollo) y quedaron hechos una piedra, no cedieron en ningun momento cosa que a pesar de perder una cabeza, me puse contento por no ceder en tamaño. Cuestion que una parte se salvo sin hongo, y no tuvimos otro remedio que fumarla jajaja Realmente es una locura muy intensa, como que te deja con la cabeza la parte frontal (atras de la frente) como vibrando, te deja muy loco, pero si te pones a hablar, no te perdes, enganchas todos los temas que quieras, todo esto sin secar bien y sin curar! Conclusion: Para el proximo cultivo voy a agregar otro ventilador, uno para extraccion y otro para intraccion asi no me vuelve a aparecer el hongo. Saludos!!

This plant just amazes me how many thricomes it has , i would definitely recommend this strain. I'm curious how it will smoke when it dries up! 😁 It smells very fruity and piney and you can see the crystals shining on it. Very happy with the results 🙂
