Feb 22 / Day 74: Heavy defoliation of many fan and larger sugar leaves

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2206 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #1 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #2 is just an enormous plant with tons of bud sites and flowers that are starting to get a coating of white trichomes giving them that frosty appearance! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic, both are amazing cultivars with a generous coating of trichomes beginning to cover their flowers. Did some lst on one of the taller main colas because I started 2 more and needed the smaller light for them. I turned my 150w Marshydro the way it normally goes so it can cover both plants and tried to get an even top canopy for both plants to get the most out of the lamp. I think the 1 is gorilla zkittlez I was thinking stardawg at first but the leaves are very similar to the gorillaz. I keep worrying about giving higher doses of nutrients because it looks like I burned them a little bit feeding twice in 1 week. It’s hard to tell the difference between defeciency and burn sometimes which is making me want to switch to organic lol. The leafy one is starting to bud finally it seemed like even after pre flower was in full bloom it was still pushing out too many Leaves and almost no trichomes compared to the zkittlez. I’m thinking that one may be an afghan kush or something. It was really woody smelling hazelnut almost and now I’m getting some pine hints now that the buds seem to be getting back on track

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Altura maxima northern light xl 42cm. •las power plant xl Han pegado un estirón serio, están empezando a ensanchar bastante. •una marea verde desde semilla, con tan solo 5 semanas de crecimiento y un solo trasplante desde que se germinó, para controlar un mal crecimiento.

Still going through flowering. She has stayed short and stocky throughout since week 3/4 actually. About that time I remember watering her with nutrients that must have been too acidic. I'm pretty sure I omitted add ph up. 😭 The damage was done, growth all but stopped. As she is an auto flower there is no time to 'save' her and grow a big plant, so we will go to the end with what we've got.

So far the floraflex potpro system has been paying off! My time in the garden went from 90 minutes to 15 minutes and the results speak for themselves. Since theyre all still in veg im expecting some big girls. Tried to hop on the no calmag schedule but some didnt take to well to it. So i dropped my dosage back to 3gr per gal of B1 and B2. New growth looks nice and healthy on the affected plant so i might start raising the dosage

It's been 66 days. I wonder is my plant ready to harvest? I searched harvesting to cannabis but i didn't get that all. I came accross a youtube video which is answering questions about growing cannabis, someone asked same question with me, that guy answered like that, when golden hairs came up you can harvest 21 days after that. I checked my photos couse to calculate when golden hairs came up, i guess i need 12 days more to harvest. If you guys know about harvesting let me know please.

Just letting them chill. Water when needed. Switched to spring water. Tap is to heavy. Fingers crossed with growing grass with my grass. Trying to make a better soil platform for my conditions.

Both plants, Jackie I and Jackie II look great. Big buds all over and they smell awesome. Can't wait to harvest them. I love this strain from the coffeeshops, hope it tastes like I know it 😍

Didnt wanted to trim too much so i only cutted leaves which were overshadowing buds completely, had to water nematodes one more time this week but besides that it looks really good so far, im happy with how they grow!

Awesome Week💚 Following some great discussions with more experienced growers, I really think we got things back on track! 🙏 To those Growmies I really raised the ppm this week we topped out around 630 PPM This was in an attempt to balance out some nutrition issues. I think the ladies have responded very well. 😃🌱💪 Raised the light up to 24in as well a few days later after seeing positive changes due to feeding regiment. Started preflowering, showing pistols on all plants. Counting down these last 7-8 weeks when the ladies beauty comes out 🤩 Will update throughout the week with photos and videos. I think this is the part where patience is truly tested, so far she’s doing fine I believe! Last few weeks of flowering ahead I presume? Past week has been cloudy so I’m just hoping for a bit more sun coming week!
