Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. The weather gods seem to be smiling on me—it’s only really cold at night. I remember reading that anything below 12 degrees is critical, and we’ve already had quite a few nights below that. In fact, it’s even dropped as low as 5 degrees. But it’s supposed to get really warm again over the next few days, with temperatures above 25 degrees during the day and around 15 at night, which puts my mind at ease a bit. Otherwise, I’m really happy, and I’ve given the rose one last dose of P/K for the finish. It’s gaining mass every day now, and the sugar content is increasing. What I’d really like to see now—and what I’d been hoping for because of the low nighttime temperatures—is for some color to come into play. But it’ll still have a little while to go, so maybe it’ll turn colorful yet. Unfortunately, my sense of smell is kind of shot from years of hay fever allergies. My parents and my brother say the whole garden smells wonderful, and I can only catch a whiff when I’m standing right next to it. :( Well, in any case, I think its scent—as the name suggests—is very floral and flowery, which I really like. Let’s see where this scent journey takes us next. I’m targeting the first or second week of October as a rough harvest window, but as always, patience will pay off in the end. August 28 is officially day 1 for me. Every single one of these popped easily and came out of the soil with zero issues. The seedling stage stresses me out so I’m glad things are already off to a good start. Toking one down for good luck *puff puff pass*.

I think that during the next week she will start flowering 😁 i placed sulfur for any possible bugs (trips for example) 8th of August we put guanokalong nutrients on the soil which was a gift from a local grow shop, lets try and see how it works! 9th August water 10th August, again took the plant to my balcony, there was a loooot of wind and heat again, i also had another plant on my roof which died due to the heavy wind 😔 11th August water 12th August nothing 13th of august, today the plant is 21 days old, it should be starting to flower already! 14th of August nothing

Have 2 problems with the girls. 1. 3 plants showing signs of cal mag deficiency on lower leaves. 2. 1 plant showing what seems like potassium deficiency. Ph has been perfect all week between 5.8-6.3 I flushed for 1 day with ph water and then added nutes with increased calmag and bud blood since i will be sending into flower in 3 days.

05/10 - (M) - Mom will be cut down today after 48hrs in the pot with lights out - Drying will be as close to 60-60 as possible. 05/10 - (C) - All the ladies are out of pre-flower and and are growing accordingly - The @VIVOSUN drip system is working wonders in helping keep a steady and effective feeding regiment. A new C02 bag will be added this week - PPM/PH are at optimal ranges - The smell is coming in as well, Citrus, Lavender notes are apparent.

Starting to beef out more. Came out of nowhere , however , we had a little pest issue - Seemed to go straight for it. I hope I’ve remedies that old school way soap water spray plus sticky band to trap. Added some canna cure. Interestingly I went low on silicate and canna cure here vs the other tent. The other tent has had zero pests whatsoever. I also added smaller pots this week with biocanna pro- I hope it’s not that. Anyways - starting to look true to its name now.

Now this side of the tent seems to be doing great. At first I thought it was the air circulation with the other side so I’m still digging into that. Either way this is about these two ladies and I see the forming of pistils and can’t wait to see what kind of stretch they get into in the upcoming weeks. As for the coco vs. the rockwool way I’ve done it in the past I’m leaning towards the rockwool way. It’s easier and thus far the plants I get from it are larger. It consumes about the same amount of water although less nutrients.

beginning of week 7 of flower: This week was really tough for this plant. 2 times the power outlet seemed to have some issue. I think it’s a physical hardware issue inside the wall. I’ve ran the extension cord from another location in the room, and haven’t had any issues since. Considering she only got about 5 hours of light in a 48 hour span, I feel she’s looking pretty good. The smell of the plant is really getting strong. When I first open the tent there’s an almost overwhelming citrus smell in the air. I really enjoy it.
