At Breadandbuds we have never underestimated F1s and here we have a great example of why: Do Si Dos F1 Hybrid Automatic. We have two plants that you can find compared at the end of the photo gallery of this diary, one left to grow straight that will be harvested tonight and you can find described in this diary and the other worked with a mainiling that made it bonsai style that will be harvested in about 10 days. THIS IS THE HARVEST DAY FOR PLANT 1 the one not worked with techniques. The characteristic of F1 plants small and fast flowering (on average) is found in this strain grown in winter () I'm sure that in autumn I can do something bigger) They are both very beautiful, resinous and fast, the one worked with the techniques has the natural delay due precisely to this type of work. This plant collected in particular has a height anot very great but it really has all the little things in their place we really want to taste it as soon as possible. It was all in an intensive flush, we both arrived a little too full and so we planted with the basic fi fertilizers girls. Fertilizers x Soil x Additives 100& Organic Plagron --- www.plagron.com Try a seed of this strain that drives us crazy.. ---- https://www.zamnesia.io/en/10664-zamnesia-seeds-do-si-dos-f1-automatic.html Zamnesia Description // From the team at Zamnesia Seeds comes Do-Si-Dos F1 Automatic. Using consistent and reliable F1 genetics, this strain is not only incredibly easy to grow, but also offers potent and delicious buds. The plants remain small and offer a reliable growing experience that everyone will appreciate. All the best that mother nature has to offer is at ---- www.zamnesia.com

Girls are growing and showing really nicely for 3 weeks of flower. Smells now starting to eminate from both. The Sugarcane smells like passion fruit punch and the orange Velvet is still to complex to call but amazing nonetheless. Defoliated more. Didn't have a choice since the canopy was still so dense.

Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

In the bag ladies. HID on 600W now, Airtube on the floor, first time I do this so I just bought it. I install it, don't feel any air coming through any holes, I call the store and they give me this: "We ran out of perforated air tube, you need to poke some holes yourself, we'll refund it" 😂 I mean, what! No time to waste so I did poke holes myself but..man! In-fan was running hot obviously. Glad I caught that on time. Feeding to 1.6 EC, one shot of enzyme this week, rootjuice. first watering with Aptus Soil Attack to prevent soil critters. 15 liter bags with Biobizz All Mix (I ordered Supreme but hey...ffs) Can't go wrong with Biobizz though. This is going to be a short week probably because I want to switch to 12. Just want to have the roots settled in their new home and then B(L)OOM!

Flower time! Cant wait to see how she comes out. I have bent the main stem over a couple squares to keep her a little lower and spread out to be part of the scrog without topping her. Seems to have worked great and all the main colas are above the canopy but not too tall the are gonna block the surrounding ladies. She nice and snug in there making herself at home. I am expecting some nice and plump flowers from her as she looks very healthy. The root supplement and the folair feeding does seem to have helped a bit but i'm always cautious for placebo. The weights at the end will tell the tale. I already have quality down so I'm looking to raise the weight without sacrificing quality. I would also like to improve on my smell and flavors, have been steadily improving crop to crop and hopefully will keep that trend going for a long long time. Just a little better each crop with small techniques that add up to fat flowers!! She kinda blends in this week but the next week or two she will stand out again with her unique flowers

ABout 900 grams of wet lovely buds, LED s take longer ,and the buds are not as big as HPS,but there does seem a uniform quality about the flowers, there was very little waste, you know the shitty popcorn bits, but i cant help but think had i used an HPS i would have cleared over 10 ounces dry, i havent weighed it yet, but i reckon its 6 Ounces. I have put as many pictures as possible, just for reference, A very nice smoke. Dry Pictures at the end.

Did a good thinning out today, took some more clones she is a great plant to clone from grows well under my mars hydro TSL2000. I tied her back a little further took off all the big fan leaf 🍁 and trimmed up to 4th node. I added 1gal of ro water with 1tbs of big bloom, 1tbs of molasses, 1/2 tsp kelp, 1tsp MykosWP, top dressed with 3 tsp magnesium sulfate and 3 tbs of alfalfa meal. She is very strong odor of skunk cross with a slight fruity smell but strong nonetheless.

Almost a week late making this update. Thankfully, during my negligence to this, the plant still recieved the care it needed. Knowing this genetic with the heat I have, it'll surely foxtail with some bleaching. I truly need a new camera setup with a better angle. For now, ill need to remember to take pictures myself. Been busy setting up a new area to go bigger. Temps were a battle, but something I'll wait to address in the future set up. Night time humidity levels are also a challenge. Did a bit of a defol, that'll be it, unless I decide to do a heavy strip prior to harvest.

This was my very first indoor grow in my cupboard with my 1 strain Do-Si-Wine and the other 1 Sunset-Sherbet. Growing the Do-Si-Wine was very fun and this strain especially is also quite tricky to LST because during the Vegetation the plant grows long and slinky, because of this I experienced a snap on week 6. (Here are my notes of the 6th Week) 30th September 2020 ( 11cm in height ) The Do-Si-Wine is growing very well, a very moderate growth as it says in it’s subscription, but none the less still a very beautiful grow so far. The bottom 4 colas are all stress trained to the edges of the pot to ensure each branch from each cola gets to grow outwards in its own space and to get more light. The stem is about 0.7cm thick which is not that thick compared to the SunSet Sherbet. While writing this I noticed my she has SNAPPED from her previous stress straining session, I was checking out the stem thickness and noticed the main stem had snapped. But luckily this is not the first this happened and I know how to fix this. To fix this all you need is some tape, now see if the plant didn’t completely break off you can still tape the plant back together and the plant should heal itself within a few days, although I need to wait a bit before I stress train this one again. She started making pistols🤗, but I’m not sure if this is because of the snap or if it’s getting ready to start blooming. All the side branches from the bottom 4 colas are all nice and long growing at a nice rate. The leaves are nice and strong reaching ( 11cm in length ) My experience from growing Do-Si-Wine 🎶🍷 from Cape Ape Seed seed bank is very good so far, on the site it says moderate growth difficulty and it is quite accurate compared to the Sunset Sherbet’s easy growth difficulty, it’s quite fun working with a moderate growth because the plant needs more tending to, for instance the side branches are thinnish and need to be stress trained often to reach the end of the pot, the plant is also very stiff because she snapped without me realising and had to tend to the break a day later. Also while growing this plant I noticed that the plant’s leaves are very dark green and the bud it’s going carry is going to be white so I can’t wait to see how she makes her buds. (Notes Done) So when I harvested on the 29 December 2020 (Week 19) I have definitely learned a lot about this strain, this strain is extremely exotic and is impossible to find and growing this strain was such a blessing as well being able to smoke top shelf exotic weed straight out of your Cupboard

Now that we got the humidity back to normal, I treated each plant to fresh nutrients. The pistils on Chonga are starting to turn brown, indicating it'll be time to harvest soon (despite my 20 Dec prediction). Cheecha's pistils are still long and bright, so we still may be on track for her harvest in December. I'm going to start flushing Chonga this week while maintaining nutrients for Cheecha. UPDATE: I finally caved and bought a Grow Tent! almost immediately the temp rose from 73 to 77 degrees. Humidity is stable at 34%. I'm going to wait until Chonga is harvested before introducing the humidifier again to dehydrate chonga a little prior to harvest.

The plants hung in the grow tent with the exhaust fan running low for 10 days with an RH between 45-50%. 80 grams at trim from 3 Blueberry Autos. For a first time grower, I tried to let the plants do their own thing mostly, aside from some lite defoliation and tucking. In doing this I see ways I can improve. After curing for 10 days, first sample was not disappointing. (I intend to cure it at least 1-2 months.) Sweet berry aroma when chopping up the bud. Smooth burn with white ash. Can get a hint of berry flavor in the smoke however it also is not ready yet. But I can almost predict the possible flavors after curing. I believe a strain like Blueberry benefits from longer cures of a few months or more. I will attempt to give it as long as possible. Overall impressed with the grow and look forward to the final smoke. Ready to apply what I've learned and improve on my next grow.

I really enjoyed this strain and I’m very glad I was able to see it through until the end. I wanted to harvest 9 days ago or so, but got advice from a lot of fellow growers who told me to remain patient and ignore all wishful thinking. The average time from seed to harvest for this plant is 70-80 days, I managed to harvest on day 87. The smell is loud and she looks beautiful. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to get these genetics again in the future. Completely satisfied with using this strain as an introduction into growing.
