The cal-mag issue has been handled and is growing strong. They are definitely producing some buds I hit them with a nasty defoliation trying to get humidity down and expose as much light to the nugs as possible. This will be the last time I hit them like this but will be still removing large fan leaves if they get in the way of bud sights. Hopefully lord willing everything will continue to go smoothly and we can get a good harvest.!! Happy growing and god bless.

Really loved this plant and how it grew other then the fox tails, Unfortunately I had to move this weekend and just couldn’t continue growing her and moving at the same time. She still had a good 1-2 weeks left but what is there looks really good will update when she finishes drying.

It’s so warm today! Of course I pulled all my plants out to spray with spinosad and feed/water. ********* I use a Hudson 2L sprayer. My partner used to work in the film industry and they found this brand of sprayer gets the most thorough even coverage for makeup or whatever movie magic they use sprayers to create. It’s great. ********* The larger gorilla glue has come around but I lost a few nodes. I’m seeing a little PMD, but I’ve been knocking it back when baking soda and water. I’ve been taking scalps, defoliating the big one gently and the little ones need almost daily lollipopping. I’m watching my ph and using more cal mag. I definitely feel like they are two different phenotypes.I have them on individual diets. ********** Some fungal gnats come with the humidity so I topdressed with gnat nix. I don’t believe I overwater so I hope that’s the solution! I think I may wait another week or two and get things more stable before moving to flower. I was quite pleased with the amount of bud I got off her and it's smelling fantastic and is very sticky.The trichomes were very milky with a few amber as well. 😍 very easy to grow no fuss and no problems but we'll have to wait and see as to whether she is a good smoke or not . She’s almost done. AT this point I have 30% amber tricks I’m looking to get it in between 40% And 50% so I’m going to keep checking everyday until I get it just where I want it.

Week 9 and they are looking at their best. Colours are coming out with hues of purple and red.

Just winding down. Gonna go lights off for a day or two now at week 10. Tangerine dream are close to done and grape ape are throwing bananas for past week so it’s time.

Overall I’m happy with how the Blue Dream from Crop Kings came out, despite losing one plant to some odd characteristics likely brought on by being a new grower, but upon receiving input from others, the genetics of that particular plant may have been a little off. I picked a small bud 1 week prior to harvest, and let it dry for 5 days, the wife and I smoked it while camping and thoroughly enjoyed the high it produced. Obviously the on the scale weight is way off at 1338 G, lots of moisture and tons of stem weight. Will update with a total next week when drying is complete. After drying for a week I have now jarred and weighed the final result, and the final tally is 140.77 g or 4.969oz. A very energetic and long lasting high.

Day 103: It was a great pleasure growing the Kitsune Kush Automatic from Zamnesia Seeds. Only the main stem was bent and very few leaves were removed. The amount of work, if you can even call it work, is very minimal. Tag 103: Es war ein großes Vergnügen, die Kitsune Kush Automatic von Zamnesia Seeds anzubauen. Day 38 The plant's are growing well and are very watered. I can start seeing the roots coming out of the 7L pots. I am thinking I about getting bigger ones in 2 -3 weeks. Other than that, I cropped the top of three of them and I start seeing great results. I can't wait to share the pictures of the evolution. Next week I will get them more space and start LST,. Plan ahead: Week 5-6: continue the vegetation stage. Starting of ventilation and Calmag week 7: I will replace the pots to 20L Week 8 start the flowering for 2 months

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil.
