Added Universol Yellow (High P) and Calcinit 1:1 to increase EC and root growth, no ml values, used the fertilizer to reach stated EC values. In addition to KMPS I added POLY(DIMETHYLAMINE-CO-EPICHLOROHYDRIN) in a very small dosage to the tank, this helps to keep the ORP stable high, did that on the last day of week 3 so results will be visible next week but it already did and the last hours of week 3. The plant is still slow growing on top, but roots are doing well. She is a girl that is visible now but really early. I don't know what is going on because there are no deficiencies, roots are healthy, etc. the other plant in the same system is growing vigorously. Did top her anyway. Removed some leafs that were blocking new nodes. Values are average of the day. Hey guys we've got a new grow going and I'm really excited about this one. We'll be growing this wedding cake outdoor in promix feeding synthetic nutrients with GH Trio all summer long. Im not going to use any additives aside from microbes. Welcome to the last week of veg the lady’s have been switched to flower last night. Nothing but buds from here on in! This week was all about setting the lady’s bud sites up as even as I could and a little defoliation before they were flipped. All the plants are within a inch of each other and each plant tops are bang on same height. We stuck with the feed twice a week for the last week of veg and are right on the line of nute burn on one of the girls, we will go easy on the start of the bloom nutes and wait until around week 4 or 5 to go back to the feed twice a week again. I’m interested to see if the gold leaf will stretch out a lot more than the super skunk and big bud, if so I might have my hands full trying to keep them all under the same lights. Another week another part of progress, wedding gelato is doing great, the shape is how I want it and now she just needs to put on weight. All going as planned, super happy with the living soil from Sonnenerde like always !

Update - Tuesday 22nd June To be honest this week hasn’t gone great. I noticed some fruit flies or fungus gnats. There are only a few and they don’t seem to be attracted to the buds at all. None the less for the moment I have put some cider vinegar, soap and water and put t in as wide a surface area as possible and there are quite a few stuck in there after a day. Iv also ordered some of those sticky traps to put around the edge of the pot. Luckily I’m getting rid of my media, the tent, everything inside the tent and will be using a paint spray gun to spray ozonated water or if it’s really expensive then just hydro strength hydro peroxide will be used to spray all surfaces of the room.

6/8 Haven't had to water yet (besides the two tens and I should've held off). It's an overcast day. Perfect for the plants. I've noticed more off shoots of 3 pronged leaves so a few plants will reveg but thats fine. I'm happy with how things are going thus far. These are certainly very resilient strains. I've done some SLIGHT LSTing. EDIT: IT'S BEEN A NICE DAY TODAY. A LITTLE OVERCAST BUT SUNNY AT TIMES. PERFECT WEATHER FOR THE GIRLS. THEY ARE LOVING IT OUT THERE! 6/9 And the girls are lookin' Fiiiiiine. In all seriousness everything is doing pretty good. Even that overwatered pink kush runt in the 10gal is coming out of its little funk. Some of my FIM's turned out amazing! With the reveg of some of these I'll definately have my hands full. Very grateful for smart pots and well draining soil! We've gotten some harsh rain but the girls all seem fine. It's the wind today that's a little worrisome. I may stop over later. I COULD put up tarps around the cage as wind blocks (and have before in the past) but it increases the humidity of an already extremely humid day. These girls are strong. I'm sure they'll be fine. I've found that the tarps typically hurt worse than they help. 6/10 56° at 9am. Shook the plants off. Medium wasn't soaked though. Luckily we had some wind. It's not raining now but it's going to have showers for half the day. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 80's and sunshine so if that comes through things might workout alright. I still haven't had to water this year besides that one gallon on the tens. If I do something I'll update. I'm considering light stepping the two pink kush's in the 10's. I'll need to do more research. 6/11 BEAUTIFUL DAY! Windy too which helped dry the grow bags. Plants are growing at a rapid rate. I've yet to have to water. A few more days like this and I'll have too. It was in the 80's and is still 75 at 5:30. Bags still have heft to them and I can still feel moisture. They got tons of rain. I'll keep an eye on them. Thus far I'm pleasantly surprised (knock on wood). 6/12 Everything looked great this morning. It's a little overcast and 69° @ 8:45. I mixed water planning on watering but decided against it due to the weight I was feeling. My wife said it rained hard last night for a little while but the topsoil was dry. It did look disturbed though. Luke it got PELTED with rain. The medium looks dry but there is still some weight to the grow . I'll be back over later and I'll check things out. Overall plants have made a great transition even in this bi-polar weather extravaganza. EDIT: WENT BACK OVER AT NOON AND EVERYTHING WAS LOOKING WONDERFUL. ITS 80° AND SUNNY WITH A STRONG WIND. THAT'S WHY I FIGURED THE PLANTS WOULD NEED TO BE WATERED. APPARENTLY THOSE THUNDERSTOTMS WITH SHEET RAIN HAVE KEPT THEM WATERED. AS PREDICTED THE TWO 10GAL POTS AT THE FRONT OF THE CAGE WERE A LITTLE LIGHT AND THE TOPSOIL WAS REAL DRY. MY MK ULTRA IN THE 30GAL LOOKED LIKE IT COULD USE SOME WATER AS WELL AND I FINALLY GAVE SOME TO THE 10TH PLANET IN THE FRONT ROW. BOTH THOSE PLANTS WERE BIGGER THAN THE REST AT TRANSPLANT AND IN A SLIGHTLY LARGER CONTAINER. THE FRONT ROW SEEMS TO DRY OUT FASTER FOR SOME REASON. I HAD 3 GALLONS MIXED UP TO START WATERING BUT AFTER CHECKING EVERYTHING ELSE I DECIDED TO GIVE THE FRONT ROW (THE ONLY ONES THAT WERE LIGHTER) A LITTLE WATER. I USED TWO GALLONS FOCUSING ON THE KUSH'S IN THE 2 10'S. THIS WAS MY WAY OF MEETING IT IN THE MIDDLE. IVE LOOKED AT PREVIOUS DIARIES AND I THINK I MADE THE RIGHT DECISION. NO RAIN IN THE FORECAST FOR A WHILE. I NEED TO REMIND MYSELF THAT PLANTS THIS SIZE USE MUCH LESS WATER THAN WHEN THE BAG IS ALL ROOTS. 6/13 It's windy as hell! I would've thought that the bags would be dried out by now! I went around and it seemed like they still had weight. It was also cold last night and is 63° and sunny at 11am. It's not getting any hotter. I DID water the two plants in the back row as they seemed a LITTLE lighter than the others. I split a gallon between those two and didnt water the rest. I figured I'll let tje wind dry them out some more. I know what they feel like when they are totally dry. I don't want to get to that point but it's easier to fix than over watering. Go8ng through the plants I found that there's a point that has like three tops on it but the thick stalk continues up and there are FOUR or FIVE more TOPS!!! I've never seen anything like this! Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... Shes stoped growing in height for the most part but the buds are just getting started and already filling the space of the nodes. Already covered in trichomes and the smell is very sweet and citrus. Going to be some perfect mid summer smoke! I cant wait.

This week i found what i thought was mold. After askin around they are now sayin mealybugs. I took the plant out of tent and will now be kept indoors to flip for now. I chopped off most of her bottom that had white and sprayed neem oil last nite. Today i bought take down garden spray. Also i gotta check other plants well

She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Her flowering continues to impress me with her trichome production covering her flowers with 'frost' she's a sight for sore eye's! 😍 The end of next week will be the beginning of her wrapping up with the 'Finish Line' approaching by Week 9, but it will all depend on when she tells me that she's ready to go! 10/3- With Week Seven coming to a close we're going into the last 2 weeks for this lady and she's right on track, looking epic and smelling like a bucket full of super ripe red grapes! 🤩 I watered heavy yesterday and added 1 tsp/g of Unsulfured Molasses to the 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. Her pot had some weight to it when I checked today so I'll skip watering her until tomorrow. I finished up today by checking her over and giving her pot a turn. ~Thanks for stopping in! Welcome to the first week of flowering in this run with BIG BLOCK by Cannabis Brothers. 7 days ago I took cuts and now I'm happy to show you the first shots of roots and also the amazing green canopy which I'm truly proud of. Each plant is marked as pheno 1, 2, 3, ...and here is a cut of pheno #9 showing the great success. Soon others will follow and then we will see after 3 weeks how many males or females we have and then we can have a first selection of potential keepers. For now I'd keep them all as they grow all equally good but time will tell how many ladies we actually have.
