Gave bloom mix of fertilizer. Starting to get chilly here so have to figure out the other extreme of the temperatures… bought a small heater and seeing if it will do. Just set lights to 12s. Countdown to signs of flower! And eyes out for any balls.

This week it is official, I have used both organic and synthetic inputs. I did notice she was starting to become a little defcient right around the time to top dress(Week 3). I think her issue was potassium. I have also been overwatering a bit, trying to get a handle on keeping the media moist, I think the wetting agent in the Pro-Mix is working as well as the worm castings. Other than that, I am really impressed with her speed of growth. To give you growmies an idea of my thought pattern on this grow, the first 3 weeks were just organic amendments. Top dressed with 1 cup of worm castings, with 5 tbsp of Home Grown and 5 tbsp of Flower girl and watered in with a light nutrient(syn) solution. Next I will water only roughly until my next top dress in 3 weeks in which time I will feed a compost tea. Thanks for those that stop by, like and comment. See ya next week growmies!

You walk into the back yard and it’s a straight face punch of smells. Looking like some indoor rn moved all plants to safer place in case storm hits so now I atleast have a wind break

With the last heat wave, I had an answer to one of my questions, clearly my chiller is not doing the trick. I have water temperatures that went up to 27°, which is way too much, the plants deprived of oxygen, started to declare several deficiencies due to an assimilation slowed by the lack of oxygen. It is then that a nasty fungus came to say bijour, it is me MR pythium! It was necessary to act, at the risk of having to restart the culture. So I applied hydrogen peroxide and ROOT ROT X, and both products are doing harm to this nasty pythium, things are now back to normal. On the other hand, the plants had a decreased growth for 10 to 15 days, so I'm going to extend my growth for 10 to 20 days, that is to say 1 or 2 soups, I'll choose according to the root development of the plants. Before going to flowering, I have to catch up this delay in order to make a nice crop.

The ladies are doing great. A week or two more and then I am switching to 12/12. I topped the heck out of these girls, so just going to let them recover before the switch. As always thank you for your support. 😀

Sep 21: Bruce here is in third place for flowering pace but she should be close to done in time. Added some potassium sulphate to the water. Sep 26: buds are getting bigger but the cold weather is getting closer. Not many more days available.

Week 3, first nutrient treatment

Buds are swelling up nicely, calyxes are plump, and the white pistils are shooting out like little antennas in every direction. Resin production is in full swing – the tops are already frosty, sparkling under the light, and the colas are stacking beautifully along the main stems. 🔸Leaves are looking strong and healthy – deep green with some subtle purple hues showing on the edges. No clawing, no deficiencies, and no signs of overfeeding, maybe she could use a little more nutrition.. Sugar leaves are already coated with trichomes, which is always a good sign that the plant is cruising in the right direction. 🔸This week I kept it simple: only water. I also cranked the SANlight up to 100% to push temps up a bit, and it worked out great. Daytime VPD now sits right around 1.4–1.6 kPa, which is the sweet spot. All plants are showing exemplary vigor, evidenced by their vibrant green color and the rapid upward orientation of new tops toward the light immediately following the procedures. The Bruce Banners are responding perfectly to topping and LST, maintaining strong leaf turgor and dynamically expanding their lateral branching in the 25L pots.

03/22 - Night/Daytime shots - Both have grown about an inch since last week and are thriving - I will be running drip lines on them probably by the end of the week for consistency with feeds. 03/23 - They got a little funky on me last week so I fed them both to run off and realized their PPMS/PH where insane!! - Flushed them out hard last night and in less then 24hrs they are already bouncing back - Will stick to just clean water feeds for now - They will begin a low-dosage nutrient feed (Micro-dosing) in about a week.😎😎😎😎😎😎😎
