Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

"Week three of flower is off to an amazing start! At day 22, the ladies are looking incredibly healthy. They're praying like crazy, reaching for the light, and stacking nodes like it's their job. The buds are starting to plump up, and the trichome production is getting intense. I'm so excited to see how they develop over the next few weeks

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

Hey people! ✌️✌️ So, at the time of this post, it's day 60 of flowering. 🌸🌸🌸 We're nearing the finish line. This week, the seeds started popping out in all directions. Feeding remains unchanged: AB 20ml/5L. Today, I noticed some scary numbers on the runoff, measuring at 2500ppm. Next watering, I'll give them plain water. I'll continue feeding until the very end. The taste of the buds isn't our focus in this grow, and what kind of buds can we expect anyway? I continue to train the big plant as it started leaning to one side. I've tied it to the pot for support. My bet is that in 2-3 weeks, we'll be harvesting, collecting seeds, and running some bubble hash. There's a new addition to the grow box. I added a Barney's LSD auto since it's outgrowing my small box. I also planted 7 no-name seeds that came my way by chance. Curious to see what comes out of them. For my first ever harvest to finish. I am proud got 59.85gs for an autoflower and no prior experience I am pleased. I learned alot and want a better finished yield for the future but pleased with this girl an her turn out.

Week 2 I finally made it to get a QB panel led. So i hope these lights help me to grow more efficiently Seedling number 1 is growing faster than number 2 but both seem to be healthy. I water two times a week with 2Lts each plus Hesi's root complex and Calmag

Now I have solved the light setting all the girls are starting to swell very well I have used so caning to spread the canopy other than that it’s that stage of patience watching the pistils and calyx’s mature, the smell of all these plants are delicious can’t wait now for harvest!!!

Thinking a t-break starting soon would make it easier to enjoy the harvest. Looking at getting some bubble hash processing equipment and a rosin press, my prefered consumption method from right at home. At this size what would an experienced grower expect in terms of yield? The strains seem hearty. Solitamente uso questa tecnica perché trattandosi di una varietà autofiorente è meno stressante per la pianta e abbinata ad una “regolare” defogliazione permette di ottenere dei risultati interessanti in termini di raccolto. Oltre a questo, la parola d’ordine di questa settimana (fortunatamente conclusa) è solo una: FREDDO! infatti, dopo un inizio settimana di temperature piuttosto miti, la temperature sono diventate più fredde. Ah…che sia chiaro, quando dico "freddo" mi riferisco a temperature più basse dei valori ottimali che comunque che rendono più stentato lo sviluppo e la crescita della mia piccola bimba (dovrei cercare un nome da darle😅). Nel complesso però la mia piccolina boxeuse si difende alla grande!🥊 01/05/2022. 1l d’acqua: Ph: 7.0 Ppm: 397 T: 24º Altezza:7,5 cm T Max: 29º T Min: 18º Hum Max: 87% Hum min: 46% Sembra in buona salute, ha un colore verde vivo ma la crescita sembra un po’ lenta. Min:49% Oggi si iniziano a dare un po’ di nutrienti, io utilizzo la linea dell’advanced nutrients ph perfect Grow/Micro/Bloom come Base (1ml x 1L di acqua demineralizzata per ciascun prodotto) più B-52 e Voodoo Juice (2ml x 1L d’acqua demineralizzata). La piccola non presenta problemi, ha un’altezza di 10 cm e sta sviluppando il 3° internodo, se continua così tra qualche giorno si inizia con LST. 01/10/2022. Oh oh…😲 le foglie più giovani mostrano una leggera clorosi ai bordi con venature leggermente più scure, potrebbe essere dovuto a un Ph sbilanciato oppure a una carenza di calcio e magnesio. Forse conviene darle una leggera fertilizzazione tramite spray fogliare. 01/11/2022. Bene, la clorosi fogliare 🍁 perdura quindi proviamo a risolvere il problema con uno spray fogliare : Advanced Nutrients Sensi Cal Mag Xtra: 2ml x 1L d’acqua. Una bella spruzzata generale sia sulla pagina superiore delle foglie che sulla pagina inferiore in modo da permettere agli stomi di assimilare la soluzione. Iniziato LST piegando la cima apicale fino a farle quasi toccare il bordo del vaso.
