Today is day 54 from planting, and I have a log of optimism that they will finish out strong! The girls continued to stretch until a couple or days ago. Then they seemed to slow down and start focusing on bud growth, which was a welcome site. I'm super happy with the lst on the right plant, the left was a learning experience. There are a handful of stalks that are 10-12 inches above the lower canopy, which is obviously and issue. The main stalks just got so stiff that I couldn't bend them without risking a snap, which I have had happen in both previous grows. They continue to be thirsty, drinking almost a gallon per day each. Unlike previous grows, I have been doing the full amount of nutes, as I've heard Green Crack is a particularly hungry strain. Not much else to report, should be close to the stage where I just try to maintain everything and hopefully watch the buds fatten up. I’ve been late time to harvest

7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. Will be monitoring very closely! 🙏🏾 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

Week 5 At the beginning of the week I set up and tested auto-pot system for 2 plants using the same reservoir of feed water. All connections work fine with no leaks, the floats are free moving and work as intended, I have air pumping into the reservoir and all connections are good there as well. I used black tubing for the feed lines and placed towels over he reservoirs to block out light from the water in the system. After all checks were made, I placed the plants in the pots and turned the system on. At the end of the week I had 3 new nodes of growth since the last topping, so I topped for the third time (4 cuts this week on the 4 set from last week and also removed the lowest). I now have 8 colas set. Feed this week was 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of training the colas to go where I want them to. I plan to train 6 to the outer ring and 2 to the inner ring. Once I have enough new growth I will set the tomato rings and possibly start wire training. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

Week 6 marks the exciting flowering stage for ztraberrizzzz I've been using Low-Stress Training (LST) techniques, gently bending branches down and securing them with soft ties to create an even canopy. This promotes lateral growth and allows lower buds to thrive. I've also practiced careful defoliation, removing larger fan leaves to improve airflow and light penetration to the budding sites. Monitoring their response is key, and I love seeing the plants adapt and grow stronger. Sticking to the Canne Terra feeding schedule has yielded great results—thick stems, lush foliage, and a delightful sweet aroma emerging. I’m eager to see the buds develop in the coming weeks. Here’s to an exciting journey ahead in the garden!

Seed was put in a glass of water on the 2nd of January 20:00 (8PM). Around 15h later it sunk to the bottom and I transferred it to a wet paper towel inside a zip. Around 51h later (so ~36h inside zip) the seed had not yet opened. I am a little worried, but at the same time not because I've looked up what the pro's say and some of them don't even look at the seed until after the seed has spent at least 48h inside the paper towel. I will be patient and wait for the seed to open. After the seed has opened I will be even more patient and let the root grow for a bit. I have grown 2 of these plants in my lifetime and first time was really good, second time was very bad, and the second time I planted it when the root was ~1mm long. I will not rush things this time. I will also be careful to not let the root grow too long. If I'll have it my way, then I'll be planting this baby tomorrow evening, so in a bit less than 24h from now. If I have to reschedule then it will probably be planted on the 6th of January. Worst case scenario: We have to restart with a new seed. Bless you. Update 5 Jan 2022 17:29 (05:29 PM): We have a root! The seed has opened ever so slightly and the root has grown more and more during today. I want the root to grow a tiny bit longer before I plant it. I will take another look before bedtime. Update 5 Jan 2022 20:43 (08:43 PM): Root has not grown much since the last picture, will plant tomorrow. Update 6 Jan 2022 10:05 (10:05 AM): Will plant later. Root is too short. Update 6 Jan 2022 15:00 (03:00 PM): Root is still shorter than I had in mind but my patience has ran out and I think it is still a fine length for the seed to do really good. I also have very good soil for her with claimed great amount of nutrients for seedlings. When it gets large enough I will transplant her to a 11L pot. The 11L pot has been filled with more than 11L soil. Probably around 15L. By the way, the plant has a name, her name is "Satan" but is referred to as a "she". Update 12 Jan 2022 18:00 (06:00 PM): We have a sprout! I saw the sprout some hours ago. I am sure that I planted the seed quite perfectly in the middle. However, the sprout happened very much to the side. I suspect that there was something in the soil that might blocked the sprout. So far it looks like we planted Satan on the 6th of January and we got a sprout on the 12th. I will consider Satan to be in germination stage until it grows a little more. Then I will treat it like she's in the vegetative phase. ----------------------------- SUMMARY: Day 1-21 in Satans life has been so wonderful. Not a minute goes by without me feeling euphoric about her. Every day when I wake up I go to the grow-room and tell her good morning. I hold her largest leaf between my thumb and index-fingers to hold leaf (hold hand) and we just hold leaf together for a few seconds while I admire her beauty. She is so absolutely gorgeous and kind and she is also very happy with her environment. I already have another plant in another grow-room which also is a Northern Lights and I have kept a diary of her as well, just not on growdiaries.com (everything is kept in a Word-document). This other plant is called Kim, named after Kim Jong-Un. Kim and her diary is going to be utilized as a "roadmap" for Satan, so I should know what to expect and when to expect it. I also did a few mistakes with Kim, such as water too much or let her grow with way too much nitrogen in the air. Satan will instead be the best grow I have ever done - hopefully. No nutrients for the next week. Also had some learnings from this grow: 1stly - must adapt a routine feeding schedule/ plan. With a lot more Nitrogen added in veg phase 2ndly - for flowering phase, need to add more of phosphorus and potassium in the feeding plan 3rdly - need to make the bed of soil big so that plant has more space for roots 4thly, - light, light and more light. 5thly - need to research more training methods and improve on them But overall I am happy and I keep learning about the growing process.

This is a 5 week old from clone borderliner extreme. My personal favorite to grow and smoke. It gets huge sticky bugs, finishes in 7 to 8 weeks from flip, and gets you super stoned. You can even let it go to 9 weeks if you want a smoke that leaves you in the couch for the rest of the night. If you've never tried a properly grown borderliner extreme from AMS, you're missing out.

Plant is recovering well from defoliation. It seems to be taking more water now so I'll up feedings to 2 litres twice a week to see if it responds well to that.
