Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Our Tangie is proving to be an extraordinary ninja superstar! Last week, we embarked on an exciting transplant adventure. Our fearless Tangie had outgrown her previous home, so we bravely transferred her to a spacious 25-liter fabric pot. With the assistance of Aptus Holland Mycor Mix, we ensured a smooth transition, providing her with beneficial mycorrhizal fungi. These underground helpers are like her very own ninja squad, supporting her root system and establishing a strong foundation. To continue supporting her growth and development, we incorporated the incredible Aptus All-in-One Pellets into the soil. These pellets act as potent ninja power capsules, packed with essential nutrients. Each watering session delivers the perfect dose of nourishment, fueling our Tangie's journey to greatness. She's thriving with optimal health and vitality. And let's not forget our loyal companions, the trusty Lego Ninja buddies. They have remained steadfast by our side throughout this green adventure, offering both moral support and an unwavering display of ninja vibes in the grow room. Who would have guessed that little plastic warriors could be such fantastic companions? After the successful transplant, it was time to introduce our Tangie to the art of scrogging. We skillfully installed a scrog net, creating a framework for her to weave her way through. This setup resembles a challenging ninja obstacle course, encouraging her to grow horizontally and maximize her bud production. It's truly remarkable to witness her impressive moves as she gracefully and sexily fills up the space. Of course, proper nutrition remains crucial for our Tangie's ninja training. Instead of using Aptus Holland Veg Watering Mix and All-in-One Liquid separately, we have now transitioned to solely relying on the pellets. These convenient premixed pellets integrated into the soil eliminate the need for additional liquid NPK. This simplification allows us to focus on other essential aspects of her training. To ensure she remains pest-free, we have been diligently conducting leaf picking sessions, which also serve as an opportunity to check for any unwanted visitors. So far, our Tangie has passed with flying colors, and her vibrant 9-fingered leaves are a fantastic sign of her overall health. As our Tangie continues her epic ninja journey, she basks in a PPFD of 600. These photons act as her loyal ninja training partners, stimulating robust photosynthesis and fostering explosive growth. WEEK 8

Another good week with no issues. It's not growing super fast but it is growing well. I'm going to up-size into a 1 gallon pot this week and have a question. The stalk up to the cotyledons is 7cm - how deep I safely bury the stalks? I've read that some people bury the stalk up to the cotyledons but 7cm seems like a lot of stalk to put under ground.

Stardog room it is looking pretty good and is thriving. Hopefully get the results we asking for. Aya room up to now is giving pretty impressive results and it looks like they like the enviroment even tho its not fully equiped. After adding the c4 neet to celan the insides a little bit more and see how it will react.

Very healthy looking seedling, starting to grow very fast, she's got a great size for 14 days only and I think I'll transplant her in a couple of days more when she is 17 days or so like the other ones in this run, they grow extremely fast under the tsl2000 by mars hydro, very happy with the results I'm achieving in terms of growth, I hope the same in flower! I have Transplanted this lady into her definitive 11l pot on February 6th which is her day 17 since she was planted, she's 4 days younger than the rest of the plants in this 2x4 run, she's looking very healthy and strong, let's see how she keeps developing herself!

Critical x Animal Cookies is doing good for her size. She is under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She is the smallest of 4 in the run. I did a solution change today. I changed the air stone a few days ago. I also added a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses to the solution. She is developing a lot of resin so far. 🤞🏻she keeps going strong. This week the girls were covered in snow. I've never seen anything like it with my own eyes before, only in pictures :D The lower large leaves have turned yellow, but this time don't panic :D experts say it's normal.

Day 34 this lady is running, I can see flowers getting bigger every day, smell started really really soon this time so I already had to add the Carbon Filter. Day 28 flower.! 😏Almost halfway. Had to get a larger area bc the 10x10 bedroom wasn't cutting it. Hard to water when plants fill tha whole room😭. So I upgraded and got a 10x20 workshop behind my house and wired a 100 amp subpanel in there so I should be good for abt 10K watts next grow😎... if I can wire my whole shop on FaceTime with a friend who is a certified electrician then trust me anybody can do it. Yes it was my first time wiring ANYTHING in my life. Which is crazy. It pays to have great friends.
