Overall, we are very pleased with the end result of this grow! For the harvesting process itself - once the trichomes on the buds were milky white (see zoomed in photo above), we cut down the branches and hung to dry in the tent. The light was on in the photo to display the hanging to dry method, but the lights were turned off for the duration of the drying process. On the first day the buds were hanging, all large fan leaves were trimmed. Over the course of the next week, day by day, more leaves were trimmed. After 8/9 days of drying, the buds were ready to move into the curing stage (the test for this: the skinny branches would snap when bent, and the thicker branches were near snapping when bent). On day 9, buds were cut from the branches, trimming off the final accessible leaves, without damaging the trichomes, and placed in glass jars with dehumidifier pouches to begin the curing process. For the first 7 days, the jars were opened (burped) for 10 minutes twice daily. After the first week, burping was reduced to once a day and then every few days. Strain first tested after 10 days of curing, but cured for a total of 4 for optimal results. Citrusy flavor, excellent sativa for mellow productivity and a mood boost. Now that I have my first grow under my belt, it's time to move onto the next!

Another pretty solid week in the books on these girls. I did have my first real issue though and totally my fault. I have been topping with a mix of nutrients and just plain RO water and have not been adding in my calmag to the RO water and a few leaves showed some signs of deficiencies but I think I have corrected the issue pretty quickly. I may be adding a second trellis because these girls are growing like crazy, I am very glad I put the net up when I did, spreading these girls out and providing some support seems like it was 100% needed. I am still learning and figuring out what and when to defoliate and remove some things. I did a bit of defoliation on Friday and tried to clean up the bottoms of these girls a bit under the net. I know I am going to need another round of that, but I will give them a few more days to recover. I am still keeping the nutrient strength relatively low and seems to be working out just fine. My environment, temps, rh, and water temps are all staying in pretty ideal conditions. Grow seems to be going well, just need more experience and practice with training and defoliation, but its been a blast! She has officially reached the point where moving her around just to take photos has become a whole task by itself. She's an absolute beast now. All that extra veg time and training has definitely added up, and she's grown into a seriously big plant with a wide canopy. It's been a while between updates simply because she's gotten so awkward to move around, but from here on out there'll be constant updates right through flower. Health wise, she's doing perfectly fine, so I'm not changing anything with the feeding. I'll continue with the regular Athena routine and let her keep doing her thing until I'm ready for the flip. About one week before switching to 12/12, I'll give her a proper defoliation and open everything back up. With a plant this size, I definitely want to get some airflow and light through that canopy before the flower stretch kicks in. We've been vegging this girl for a longgg time… now I'm ready to see what this monster does in flower 😏🔥. Mixed nutrients today. Last night I added 2 ml of oxy science h202 to 18L of Kamloops City water filtered through our homes water filter, no idea what it does exactly lol. I put an air stone over night and let the water bubble off any chlorine and the rest of the h202, I use microbial mass so I just wanted to sanitize the water but not kill my soil. Mixed in bases first into 21.7 C ph 8.1 Water in the morning. Important not to mix concentrated solutions, I used syringes that I rinsed well between products. I find that with this product you just follow the instructions and it’s pretty awesome results.

Gave my girls a trim got all those half eaten leaves with spidermites then made a mixture of soap eucalyptus , and teatree essential oils and gave them a bath in it. (Sprayed em down with a spray bottle) seems to have worled so far gonna make a few more times and spray my ladies down a few more times so as to kill the bugs when the eggs hatch.the are starting to look better and hopefully they thrive. Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Here I am again, I've been neglected this diary for 3 weeks so I made a fast update on the last 3 weeks, not so detailed unfortunately. Today is day 58, some leaves are yellowing and I don't understand what it could be. It seems a Phosphorus deficiency but there are also this strange rusty spots on some leaves on top of the plant. From what I know in case of deficiencies the first leaves to suffer should be the ones in the bottom part of the plant but I don't know. I upped the calmag a little because the rust spots could indicate calmag deficiency. Learning something new everyday with this hobby, I just hope I manage to stop the problem because in my previous grow I had a similar problem and didn't managed to stop it so in harvest time all the leaves were basically dead. Anothe detail I'm not happy about is the not so even canopy I created. I think I started LST a little too soon and therefore deformed a little too much the plant. Next time I'll try to top for the first time. Other than the problem I mentioned the buds are stacking up really really nice and they smell amazing. Real frosty buds it seems as you can see from the video. I hope I'm doing good :D

7/5/25 plant is stretching. Not sure if its preflowering or just being outside in a bigger pot. Im just going to let her grow naturally and see how it turns out. I may end up with just one diary of each strain at the moment. But im also not sure whether im going to be doing indoor or outdoor based on personal circumstances.

Purple is starting to show on the leaves. Hairs are nice and white. Thc is starting to form around the bud points. It’s exciting to see these colors and the process of this one.

Day 57 and this plant has transformed from tiny to decent size. I dont know yet when to start flushing but it will be during the next 2 weeks! Soo far everythings going good!

10/7/18- LST and preparing for topping # 3 for 8 colas. Everything looking healthy so far 10/10/18- Topped #3- probably should have waited maybe an extra day. Water 1/2 gallon with urb and Aloe water.

Blueberry has started early flower, will be top dressing with some gaia green in the next few days. The 1 mystery fastbuds has some huge fan leaves, they might have to go due to them blocking most lower branches. Mystery #2 is finally picking up the pace.
