Well, I came back after vacation, and this is what I found: it jumped up to the light.... I made a little cropping and tried to use more LST, the problem is that it no longer fits :D :D :D but at the same time, it's really interesting to me trip :)also, several rings are already affected by the light, my 50w light currently shines at 100%, maybe it would be better to reduce it to at least 80%?.

Layla was my pride and joy. First plant of the year put her outside. She grew wildly beyond my expectations pushing 12 ft tall before just beginning to flower. I was so proud.... A violent storm came and broker her in half. She is likely dead now as i wasn't home and it happened with the plant broken for at least 12 hours before i tried to fix it... I tried to re set her in the exact same spot and use a splint and duck tape to secure it along with multiple ties. Its only been a day but the leaves are all looking wilted and dying....

I removed the tops that will not get enough light started some basic opening of the canopy and some defoliation. This topdress should help the transition to flower in a weeks time.

Gelato x GMO is taking off in the 15 gallon pot, showing rapid growth every day. The Blue MOBs seem to have stopped growing vertically in the 5 gallon buckets and are now filling out existing branches while they all reach for the sun. The 15 gallon Blue MOB seems to still be growing in height as well as filling out existing branches. Heavy rain has been persistent with few days of direct sunlight yet plants are still growing. Massachusetts ended up receiving the tail end of a big storm so I have not had to water them the entire week, the soil has stayed damp and kept the plants hydrated

I transferred it to a half-gallon pot and I mixed the organic fertilizer with the soil.

This strain was only topped in early veg and trained a little bit with LST. After 5 weeks of veg i removed the LST cords and just let her go and what a bush she was, very fat dense heads everywhere, bottom buds also rockhard. I used no boosters just organic nutrients from start to finish in pure coco

The big one is already showing good signs that she is a girl. It won't be long now before she switches to flowering. I am now fertilizing her according to the week 4 schedule from advanced nutrients. The smaller one is slowly but surely growing roots. The stunted growth seems to be limiting it a lot.

Groei en ontwikkeling: In de derde week zien we duidelijk dat onze planten goed reageren op de verzorging die ze tot nu toe hebben gekregen. De stelen zijn stevig en de bladeren vertonen een mooie, gezonde groene kleur. Er is een aanzienlijke toename in hoogte, met een gemiddelde groei van 10 cm deze week. We hebben de planten goed afgebroken om de ruimte te geven voor zijtakken, wat de komende weken zal bijdragen aan een vollere plant. Voeding: Deze week hebben we onze voedingsschema's aangepast, met een focus op stikstofrijke meststoffen om de vegetatieve groei te bevorderen. Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. **** Week 3 Veg - December 26/20 to Jan 1/21 ***** That is two weeks in solo cups and this will be transplant to 1 gal pots week. The girls are doing fine and not always perked up but I think a new home will help change that. They have been happy and noticed that when they were given a stronger feed at the end of last week they responded very well the next day and looked very healthy. Add that I am starting to see some purpling on the stem and I think they are ready for full on veg cycle to kick in. Not a lot of excitement her either Growmies😀 just to early with nothing go on other than making sure they are alive each day 😂😂 So for this week we will give the roots a new home, step up the ppm on veg feeding. Add in microbes to help the root development and keep the environment in the same 82 degrees and humidity in the mid 60's.......I am not supplementing with CO2 so keeping everything a little lower with feed, light, and humidity. They are growing veg well with the blue light and are very happy with the current 28" distance. Will maintain and let them grow into the light more until I see negative signs and then start raising the light with them as they grow. That's what I have to add at the start of the week.......see how the days unfold😀 Little more detail........ Dec 26/20, Day 15 Veg - Dry out day - Let the microbes in the media do their thing and start pushing root growth harder than what has been happening. Dec 27/20, Day 16 Veg - Gave the girls a little splash of the left over nutes from 1 gal girls two days ago to add a little oxygen and they can take the extra microbes and bacteria right now😀 - 100ml with Microbial Mass and Piranha @ 2ml/L = 650ppm and 5.7pH Dec 28/20, Day 17 Veg - 100ml each girl with the full line for this week. No other additives, just the IPP line = 700ppm and 5.7pH - This was also from the big girls.....I am thinking that they are ready for transplant so will give them a little high feed today. Dec 29/20, Day 18 Veg - It is transplant day.......we need to keep this party moving along. She may not have the root mass I am after but I am moving forward. - Prepared 1 gal pots with Mycorrhiza added to the holes. - Gave each girl 500ml watering with full strength IPP line for week 1 veg = 700ppm and 5.8pH - Root mass on these girls was very poor......there were roots.......keep stepping up the microbes with all of the girls!!!!!! Dec 30/20, Day 19 Veg - they were just watered heavier yesterday........dry out day today - think it is a CalMag only feeding tomorrow for all the ETS girls. Dec 31/20, Day 20 Veg - feed day today since it has been a couple of days. - 500ml with CalMag @ 2ml, Gold Storm @ 7ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, Blackstorm @ 2ml, Vitamin B @ 0.5ml = 525ppm and 5.7pH - keeping the humic and fluvic acids going in, plus Kelp and CalMag👍 - the girls are happy and seeing forward movement everyday, looking for more aggressive though from the girls. Jan 1/21, Day 21 Veg - doing very well......like really well💪 - didn’t push them today and left them alone for watering, pots of course still had some weight and I didn’t expect them to need today. - Optic Folier Overgrow given today. Folier spray to give them just an extra boost since everything is otherwise dialed in👍 Finishing off the week very strong!!!!!! They have been looking very healthy and perky everyday. The roots are a concern and will be taking it easy on the nutrients for another week yet and keep up the microbes and beneficials. Will get them in line......my hope is too keep their time in the 1 gals down to two weeks max......maybe 10 days?? Looking very nice ETS.......you find yourself just staring at them and realize you just waisted 5 minutes😂😂😂

I harvested the bottom half exactly one week after the top :)) I could weight precisely this time, 126g wet for the 4 branches with stem. Should be ~100g of wet buds, 150g for the top so ~250g in total (40/50g dry maybe?). I’m happy with that, it’s more than I expected for this plant First half is 30.1g trimmed :) I’m trimming the next half in one week
