7cm of vertical growth this week. Things slowing down a little. This kush is very bushy. It's a huge plant, and if I'm honest the 10 litre pot is way too small 😲 On she goes through flowering! 😍

She's getting heavy. Buds are a bit too puffy for my taste. They feel hard and got plenty of mass but inside there are lots of tiny air pockets.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend. This week went great for the 5 mainlines. I got the final toppings completed for all the ladies, I got them done on the Sundae Driver and Red Hot Cookies on day 38, and the Durban Nights, Green Crack, and the Bubble Runtz topped on day 40 for the final time. At this point there is not much more training left to do, just some minor LST to try and keep all 8 tops per plant level, and some minor defoliation along the way. I am planning to Veg them for 1-2 weeks and flip to flower probably sometime in week 8 depending on how fast they grow. I do have them all on milk crates which are 10" each so I will place them on the floor and adjust the light power probably about the time I flip to flower to accommodate the stretch. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients approximately one week after flipping to flower. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very pleased with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Apr 09: Things are chuggin along, i think light may have been a factor in the brown spots, seeing similar symptoms on one of the other plants but very very minor in comparison.... I think it was too little calmag, i may have locked them out mid veg by using high concentration of nutes without watering till runoff (i now know, that is a no-go), and light stress. i have had them under 850-1050 ppfd when flipped to flower... one of them is loving the light, one is big and bushy (had to defoliate later than i wanted), and one has good bud structure but pistils seem thin, and growth seems slower (the one with the brown polkadot party on its body) so thinking it may be stunted. either way, im seeing denser buds, and im learning the ropes, thats enough for me :) Apr 12: Last feed day... Trichomes look just about ready, will do 2 runoff waterings 48hrs apart, then 24-36 hr darkness... Will try to post trichome pics.... Super excited to see the improvements from this run vs last run...!

They continued to stretch a lot! But I think the stretch comes to an end now, hopefully I have no tent and I'm not too limited to put the light up. The Wedding Cheesecake had a few yellowing leaves at the bottom so I gave it some BioGrow hoping it will help. Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

During the harvest I've collected lot of trims. I think this genetic will be great for extractions. I've dried all the buds in the tent at 50%rh, 23°C with indirect ventilation for three weeks. Now are curing in a dark room at 21°C inside a jar with a 58% Boveda. Thanks to everyone who followed and liked this diary! I hope you enjoyed 🙏

Week 10 Update This week overall looks solid. The plant is in good health and has responded really well to the topping I did last week. The canopy has filled back out, it’s denser, and the structure is becoming more balanced. During this session I went in with a major defoliation, another topping, and some LST to shape the plant. Unfortunately, while doing the training, one of the junctions between a branch and the main stem cracked slightly. To support the recovery, I applied a small piece of tape as a bandage to help the plant heal and close the wound. Structurally, we now have four main branches, each with two fresh tops — which means eight apexes in total. The plan now is to let her recover gently and monitor how she develops over the next days. Environmental conditions are stable. Temperatures have cooled a bit, averaging around 22–23°C, with relative humidity hovering close to 70%. This range feels comfortable for the plant. Regarding pH, I no longer check the runoff in the saucers because it doesn’t make sense. Fresh nutrient solution leaving the reservoir at 5.9–6.0 will measure fine at first, but three days later the leftover solution in the saucer gives a completely different number. It’s not representative, so I just focus on locking the reservoir pH between 5.9 and 6.0. The plant seems to handle this approach very well. Nutrients remain unchanged for now. I may have added a touch of Rhino Skin, which I didn’t mention earlier in the diary, but it’s there to start strengthening the plant tissues in preparation for heavier branches later. So far, everything is steady. We’ll let her settle, recover, and keep following the evolution week by week.

Растения продолжают развиваться. Начинаю mine-lining тренировки. Для контроля влажности в гроубокс установлен увлажнитель воздуха. С автоматическим контролем влажности. Удаётся выдерживать влажность в пределах 30-70%. Очень радует наблюдать за растениями удаленно через веб-камеру.
