Week#7 Day#44 Update: shes looking nice and bushy from the ponytailing. I gave her a half a gallon of water and she drank it right up . I gave it to her day 42 I believe I noticed her leaves droopy. I still have not topped her yet there’s atleast 13 main arms needing to be pinched out currently. I’m still riding the fence with whether I’ll top dress feed her and keep her in this pot for one more month or will I transplant her up and boost the feed proportionately with the increased pot size . Week#7 Day#45 update since I can’t seem to stop riding the fence on the methods I want to use to grow this plant I decided I atleast needed to do a heavy defoliation to expose those growth sites to encourage more branching . I could continue with ponytailing & defoliation for a while I just keep kicking the can around on whether topping will make this healthy vigorous growing plant better . It’s already doing everything I could ever want in terms of lateral growth . Could it stand to be a bit more vigorous on the upwards growth ? Sure , however I’ve still got 3 ladies maturing up in this tent that I need to move out so I’m sort of happy shes not requiring a lot of leg room know what I mean ? I think as the fan leaves grow out I’ll pony tail up each top again . Week#7 Day#46 No changes Week#7 Day#47: started pony tailing her tops as the fan leaves get large enough to pin up I’ll cover as many as possible to let those lower growths get growing . Week#7 Day#48: still pony tailing tops 😁 we’ll make her into a Week#7 Day#49: those new fan leaves neeed to be pony tailed but are also incredibly yellow . I wanted to try putting the dry amendment at the bottom of my planter but for the sake of time I won’t experiment & have wasted a 2 weeks considering I knew last week she “ should be getting hungry “ & it’ll take 1 week of top watering before these dry amendments are available to the plant so she may stay e looking deficient. I gave her 2 heaping tablespoons & watered her in with 1/2 gallon of ph’d water with (organic)cal mag .

For this week ill be watering pH corrected water till the middle of the week, then they will get first feeding. Going to use nutes every other watering. Calmag arrived before the plants started looking too bad, a few plants of other strains starting to yellow but most look alright.. These are my favorite plants of the 3 strains in this tent, not just because they're the largest but they have the best node spacing for large intact buds. We removed all large fans from the tops so light is making all the way to plant base, i think these will be the highest yielding.. Temps have been awesome depite keeping driver inside.. Flipped to 12/12 a couple of weeks ago but the flowers are just now starting to form. One of the plants turned hermie out of nowhere, I really don't know what happened. Also the lower leaves are turning yellow and I think it has something to do with the pH because I think I added too much calmag but other than that they're doing their thing.

This week: air bubbles, air bubbles, and AIR BUBBLES, that's why my growth has been weak lol. AAAAAND I wasn't giving them space between the net pots from the water! VERY IMPORTANT NEW DWC-ers lol Sooo this week I was just letting them be. Until I realize I was messing up, everything in the book EXCEPT those 2 things I state above. I just received my new air pump today as am writing this (everything is installed) very pleased with the new pump. But I gotta replace those airstones they seem clogged up (yes I did wash em, warm water and a firm toothbrush) But I've been checking everything down to my pH that's it's constant at 5.8 My PPM is the same when they drink so let's see the difference a week from now. I do start to see lil pistols coming out on the 1st plants I think shes done veggin let's see next week. Last Nitrogen watering as the girls strech first 2 weeks of 12-12. Afterwards i will move to bloom furts. In the past week my 12hrs on was 20c of temp (i flower at night) so i lowered panels to keep Warmer room but in the next week i will have another heat wave so i expect night outside to be Arround 24-26c so we are cool with that for ideal room temp. Room is vastly being populated with the bush and exploding with greens. Streching happens massively more with hybridssativas to double themselves as indicas keep low And bushy. Regards
