πŸ“‹Summary of previous week During week 5 of vegetation, both R01 and R03 showed solid development, especially R03. A training session was done to open them up and improve branch distribution. R01 has started showing signs of pre-flowering, while R03, being five days younger, hasn’t yet. R02, unfortunately, suffered another setback: during an LST adjustment, its main stem snapped. It was carefully taped and stabilized, but it’s becoming increasingly clear that it won’t be able to keep up with the others. This week, two watering sessions were done: one with 1.2L of water, 1.5ml of Terra Vega, and 1ml of Mycochum per plant, and another with 1L of water and 1ml of Terra Vega. The light intensity was increased to 85%, and the lights were raised a bit higher to encourage more stretching before flowering begins ------------------------------------------------------------- 6️⃣Week flower : 24/03 - 31/03 πŸ’‘ Light schedule: 21 hours (06h30-03h30) πŸ“ Lamp To Plant Distance: 85cm ⚑ Dimming: 85% 🌑️ Average temperature: 20,5Β° β˜” Average humidity: 67% ---------------------------------------------------------------------- #24/03/2025 I decided to make another LST adjustment and I'm starting to consider removing R02 from the tent and placing her on the balcony, allowing more space for R01 and R03, which are now practically filling up the tent on their own. As for the SCROG net, I’ve decided not to use it and will stick with LST until the end. The main reasons are : -I’ve already managed to open up the plants well with LST - R01 is already showing signs of flowering -I’ll be able to handle the plants more freely throughout the contest .. and the main reason , I messed up the measurements for my frame and now need to figure out a way to extend the support pipes a few centimeters to make it fit properly! πŸ˜… ---------------------------------------------------------------------- #26/03/2025 Applied a bit more LST today and decided to give them one last watering with Bactomatik from Agrobacterias, but at a lower dose , just 2g in 3L of water, with one drop of SuperVit to give a final boost of nitrogen, beneficial bacteria, vitamins, and amino acids. I also sprinkled a bit of Epsom salt from THC on the surface for magnesium, and some Basalt Rock from EcoForce, which contains 45% silica, to further strengthen the ladies ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 30/03/2025 Watered today with 1.5L per plant, adding 1ml of Terra Vega by Canna and 1ml of Alga Bloom from Plagron. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 31/03/2025 Had to make another LST adjustment on R03 β€” this girl is definitely keeping me busy! I’m completely out of space in the tent, so from now on the only direction left for her to grow is up!πŸ’š I also did a bit of defoliation β€” something I don’t usually do with autoflowers, but they really needed it. Nothing major, just a few lower leaves and some that were blocking light from reaching the lower branches. Nothing too crazy!!

Happy Star Wars Day@all :-D My ladies are doing great. I gave myself a CO2 measuring device and a humidity god. The thing does what it's supposed to do. All of them except Iris have been in bloom since 2 days. I just stressed them out and tied them down. A few large leaves also had to believe in it. Iris comes later. Have a nice weekend@all

Hello all and welcome to the much anticipated beginning of vegetation for these five Epsilon F1 Autos from Royal Queen Seeds. Allow me to introduce Ally, Normani, Lauren, Dinah, and Camila. All five girls have pushed put their 2nd node (3 fingers) and node 3 is on the way out. I expect all five girls to take off from here, and so the next seven days are going to be big. I will start fertigation today. For comparison purposes the Day 1 here means Day 1 of veg. For Ally, Normani, and Lauren this is day 11 since breaking ground, for Dinah day 10, and for Camila it is day 9. For the rest of this grow I will increment days from here but it's really easy to work out days since breaking ground as it is a simple matter of day + 10, 9, or 8 respectively. Day 1: Fertigated 2l. Day 2: Right ok. Can you actually believe this response in 24h? The poor girls were STARVING. Wow look at the change in color! Wow look at the growth!! Ally is most advanced, Camila least. It is fascinating so see them develop! They are growing faster and faster now. So let us talk about the elephant in the room a little bit. Phenotypes. At the moment there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that this crop will be anything other than uniform. Nevertheless there are some clear differences in some of the girls. So let's have a look shall we: Ally (center), Normani (closest to the middle purple basil), and Lauren (opposite side to Normani): These three girls are not quite identical, but it is a pretty challenging game of spot the difference. Dinah: Okay so Dinah is coming in noticeably darker than her sisters, with a little more tendency to claw, and with quite a bit larger and more angular serrations. Her first leaves are also a different shape. Camila: Little Camila had a twin, but I killed her with some overzealous tweezing before I realised what I had. She came in with only one cotyledon, and she came in last. Her first leaves are quite different to the rest of Fifth Harmony. She is also showing slighty more narrow leaves. She is lastly also very slightly more pale than her sisters. Are these phenotype differences? I mean in terms of the environment, feeding, watering, substrate, temperature, light, airflow... well these girls are all in the same pot, so unless I am particularly haphazard in my mixing and fertigation (which I can assure you I am not) I do not think it likely that these ladies have significant enough environmental difference to account for these quite clear visual differences. I am absolutely fascinated to continue to witness this, and it has only now occurred to me what a great privilege it is to be able to grow the world first F1 cannabis hybrids, and what an astounding honor to be one of the very first hobby growers to do so! The fact that RQS made this happen by not only supplying the seeds and other merch and goodies, but also sending expedited international shipping so as to fit within my arbitrary timescales is almost unbelievable. When these guys (on their website) say that it is their belief and mission to forge the path to worldwide legalisation, they are not hollow corporate whispers, it is their core of being. Cannabis everywhere is truly blessed to have such a worthy and proactive ambassador. Bravo RQS! I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 3: Well look at this growth again!! These ladies have responded to feeding really well. Fertigated 3l. Day 4: Growth is accelerating fast, these ladies will be ready for their first training soon. I am starting to formulate an idea what to do. I am thinking of topping Ally and LST on the rest. Day 6: Fertigated 3l. Ladies growing fast now. Will soon be time to start training. However! The secondary nodes are developing strongly. Hmmm Day 7: Fertigated 3l. Defoliated the three fingered leaves from Ally and tucked the five fingered under other plants. End if week summary: Well when they said "hybrid vigour" they were not joking. Look at day 1 and day 7 side by side after approx 6 days into veg growth. Wow.

Blue Dream extreme is doing well. Still has a high amount of nitrogen in her system. I did a solution change yesterday and lowered my ppm to 200 range. She has been growing fast and strong even with the nitrogen level too high. I am growing her in a New Level hydro bucket. Using the SE5000 from spider farmer. Pablo Escobar has grow a lot in the last week. I did top her a few days ago, and removed the first node branches. I left the 2nd, 3rd, 4th node branches. She did experience a ph fluctuation, which lead to a few spots. It gas been corrected, but she is likely due for new solution. As the whole grow room is due soon. She has gotten a lot stronger since the over stretch in the beginning. Nothing more to report. The fungus gnats are getting a little better. To bad they already did a lot of damage. Plants 3 and 4 have now caught up in height with plants 1 and 2 which are a month older. The buds and plants 3 and 4 are way bigger too. Flowers are starting!!! Loving it!! Defoliated at the end of the week.

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. Just on harvest day I was summoned on a long quest...around 700 km. will be away for three days. I will update this diary as fast as i"m back. For now just the photos as no time for anything. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. The SE 7000 is hanged at 40 cm. over the canopy and runs at 520W. This whole grow's main sponsor is Spider Farmer. You can easily obtain all the great grow equipment we use at: spider-farmer.com A big thank you to Jessie and the whole Spider Farmer crew for supporting me with the newest technological advancements in horticulture. Thanks to them what i do here is possible. Thank you Mafia Seeds for giving me the opportunity to try out your stock. seedsmafia.com/en/feminized-cannabis-seeds/moby-dick-feminized.html Plagron did send us their Contest package for the Power Buds competition . Thank you for your visit, please leave a like and hope to see you beck here in about a week.

Hey guys :-) The lady has developed very nicely this week πŸ‘. Since there will be space in the flowering tent for the next 10 days and it will then be switched over, I will no longer use any training. I'm looking forward to when the bloom starts :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned and checked. Holy fucking shit. I upped the E.C. to around 1.9 and it seems she LOVES it. Since the change (from 1.2 to 1.8) she suddenly draws 5L of water a day and the buds are starting to form. I can clearly already see the typical "cali" US genetics on this plant and i'm very excited to see that develop! Pretty sure i could have achieved the same state with only 6 weeks of veg, but i had to veg her longer for some other plants. Im curious, what she will yield, if someone can guess, i would be happy Take care of yourself, this will be a banger grow!

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. Although the seed description said 10 to 11 weeks, I going to cut these girls down at 10 weeks. I need the room to grow and flower some Mac and Crack that's already growing.. Getting close to harvest I'll start flushing, But I'll give them 1 more feeding and then nothing but water till the end. I get much better taste and the buds smoke better if I flush and get the chemicals out of the soil before harvest. Well, that's the end of the Freak Bros. book # 10... I think there are 3 or 4 more books left in that series. I'll show them in future diaries. My other diaries have the old underground comic book, Weirdo by Robert Crumb if you want to check them out to see. The buds are really getting solid now and some are getting heavy and heading for the floor. Good times... Getting some great smells now. Musk is the most common. But some, smell of Citrus with Musk under tones. The smell is overpowering my carbon filter. I can smell these plants out by the street if the wind is blowing that way. Pure Lemon Skunk smell by the street. Nice. Getting near the end of their lives now and there are more yellow leaves as the plants pull what they need from the big fan leaves before turning the leaves brown. Some plants have sticky resin and some have slippery resin. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

As we hit day 56 of my cannabis grow journey 7 plants 3 LST 3 Normal 1 Top. Let's catch up on how the Gorilla Glue strain is doing: Plant Growth: The Gorilla Glue plants are standing tall, measuring between 40-45cm, with the ones under low-stress training (LST) slightly shorter. Despite the unpredictable weather, they're thriving, boasting lush foliage and dense bud formations hinting at the upcoming harvest. It's clear that each plant has benefited from the TLC poured into their care. Nutrient Regimen: With flowering in full swing and the weather throwing curveballs, I've tweaked the nutrient mix to ensure the buds get the support they need. Alongside the usual Bio Bloom, Autogrow nutrients, SST Juice, Guano, and Worm castings tea, I've introduced Rockbastyk, a supplement tailored for the end of the flowering stage. It's all about giving them the best shot at success. Observations: The weather has been all over the place, with temperatures fluctuating like crazy. Despite this, the Gorilla Glue plants are soldiers, adapting to whatever nature throws at them. They've shown incredible resilience, proving that they're up for any challenge. The Low-Stress Training (LST) plants are a prime example of this resilience, despite their shorter stature. Their buds are flourishing, filling every nook and cranny thanks to the LST technique. However, one plant got a bit too stressed and ended up stunted. I'm keeping a close eye on it, giving it the extra care it needs to bounce back. The untouched plants are also holding their own, growing bigger with "fluffier" buds. It's fascinating to see how they compare to the manipulated ones. As for the topped plant, it hit a rough patch with stunted growth initially. But it's bouncing back nicely now, sporting four main apex buds, albeit a tad behind schedule. Last week, I did a major trim to tackle the bushy look that was getting out of hand. I made sure to only remove what was necessary, allowing for proper photosynthesis and nutrient distribution to continue uninterrupted.
