Strawberry Gorilla Auto - FastBuds Welcome to week 11 of my grow diary, which is also the last week. As predicted last week, the weather has become even warmer. The heat has now completely taken over the house, and it has also rained for a few days, causing the humidity to rise again. Unfortunately, this led to mold forming on one shoot, so I decided to take action. Normally, the plant could have stayed in place for another 1-2 weeks for my needs, but I didn't want to take any risks and harvested it in week 11. Overall, I was satisfied with the growth of the plant. Environmental conditions are unpredictable in summer and more difficult to control than in winter/spring. I was able to gain more experience with this grow and now know that I should take a break in summer from now on. I really liked the mainlining. Before, I topped above node 2 and left 4 main shoots. With 2 main shoots, it is much easier to work with and does not require as much defoliation as with 4. I will definitely use this technique again in the future. Here's some initial feedback on the Strain "Strawberry Gorilla Auto" from FastBuds and the Organic Starter Kit from Advanced Nutrients: The plant grew really well and has enormous potential. The buds were so swollen towards the end that I was amazed. The organic fertilizer from Advanced Nutrients probably also had an influence. This was my very first purely organic grow, and I think I can be satisfied with the result. I can wholeheartedly recommend the fertilizer. I will definitely use it again in future projects and will probably do a comparison grow between the mineral and organic starter kits. Avg. Temperature - 27°C Avg. Humidity - 68% Avg. VPD - 1,16kPA The lamp runs at 60% which is 356w according to the energy meter. At a distance of 20cm the plant gets around 950-1100ppfd. Thank you for following me so far. Pleasure to grow. Low maintenance in super soil setup in 5 gal cloth pot. Stayed small and compact but frosted up early and heavily. No deficiencies, steady growth, no training needed. Even minimal LST (which I did not do), would surely increase yield but I was more focused on quality and letting it do its thing. Genetically, it was determined to grow a perfect little canopy while not taking up much space, about as low maintenance as you can get on a plant imo. Running autos is still a limited thing for me, I like the idea of having keeper clones of photos as this is all for personal medical use, but this plant was fun to grow, true to form and stable as heck. I have a few seeds left and I’ll definitely save them for an outdoor run down the line

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Week 7 begins. Removed some dead leaves and big leaves that were blocking light to the lower parts of the plant. Buds getting bigger and frosty! Very happy with the plants development up to this point.

"Hi, I received my pH meter this week, so from week 6 onwards, I'm aiming for a pH value of 6.0 - 6.5. This week, I noticed that the plant in the small pot received too much fertilizer. The other two 7.5-liter fabric pots also received double the recommended amount according to the feeding schedule, but they don't show any signs of over-fertilization."

Perfect strain for begginer growers and not only. Very easy to grow. Plant is very resistant to any stressful conditions . (Heat, cold, I was overfeeding but she was taking it more and more without any problems) She was growing very fast in vegetation, But took 12 weeks of flowering period. (Maybe that was my faulth cause it’s only my second grow and i missed something) Buds are very dense with sweet berry aroma. I could not wait untill the end of drying period and had a taste of just a little bud. That shit is very strong even for experienced smokers. Huge to breeders 11/10. If you have not tryed to gro Green Gelato yet i wouls advise it to everybody. She will not dissapoint you. 💥👌🏽👌🏽

The ladies are thriving and loving the Advanced Nutrients Organic Line. The smell in the tent is amazing I could literally breathe that air in all day! My CandyLand has been the biggest through all three plants lifecycles. But all three are looking strong and healthy. The lights will be transitioned into the flowering schedule throughout the week. To all my fellow greenthumbs I hope everyone has an amazing grow week. 🤙🏾

Grow Update: Vanilla Latte Is on Day 27 Black Strap by Brother Mendels on Day 22 These are outdoor grows. Unfortunately the weather has been 100+ since germinated which is hindering growth. During the 100+ weather I use mister to keep them cool. Yes this did cause mild damage to the leaves but it was much better to keep them cool then to have them bake in this mini greenhouse setup. Heavy LST will take place through out the grow. I use standard twine which causes the least amount of stress possible in my opinion. Humboldt vanilla latte Auto has responded extremely well to training and has been a joy to work with. The black strap has also been okay but it is 5 days behind and is more indica dominant so its not taking the heat as good as the vanilla which is showing more saliva Dom traits. So far no complaints. Vanilla latte auto by HSO 1 of 10 seeds germinated. Blackstrap by brother mendels 1 of 1 germinated. It's in day 3 now and surviving outdoors with 100+ weather. Both seedlings are doing fantastic in the heat. Vanilla is on day 8 and blackstrap today is on day 3. Let's see how these go 🙌

This stain is very stable, Easy to grow as a beginner

The growth of this plants is very structurally sound, impressive density, and exceptionally loud. My carbon filter must be spent. The exhaust from my grow room is 8/10 on the “stinky scale”

End of week 4 and all is great! This girl is beefin up to be a monster! Already got a ton of bud on her an their is still 4-6 weeks to go. loving this Hortilux Eye 1000w bulb. Really bringing the A game. Not so bumbed about spending $ 125 on a bulb now...lol haven’t had to really take any foliage off yet with the exception of the growth under the netting I removed at 1 weeks into flowering. I say “hell no” too popcorn fluff! Lol gotta save that energy for the top buds. Going great so far anyway, I made a DIY light bar for my light rail mover out of an old metal bed frame so that was cool. Saved $50 per tent... I ain’t no sucker gonna pay $50 for an aluminum bar with some bolts. Lol gonna hook up my “water coolers soon too since the summer is approaching and my water temps are begging to creep up again. Lol you may have noticed a computer case sitting in the corner of my grow tents in past videos, they are DIY water chillers made from some thermoelectric coolers and a copper cooling coil. Stay tuned to see them operational soon! I will be posting a DIY video on how to build one yourself out of an old desktop computer and a few other parts off Amazon. Cheers 💨

Ok so I'm really impressed with this autoflower. It's a monster in my opinion. I really pushed it hard for a day or two during a heat wave. Temps were 88F, I gave it a Full dose of PK booster ( LiquidKool Bloom ) and some Raw Citrus. Plant suck the bucket DOWN FAST. I thought alright its liking it. It did but it also burned it pretty badly. So I watered it down and got a cal-mag deficiency lol. Then during the heat wave I was being to brave and left to work for 12 hours with high temperatures and the plant tops at about 2 and a half feet when its recommended 3 feet. Totally my fault. But man oh man, she took all of it pretty well in my opinion. She's a little burnt but the FROST on the buds are insane outside the tent lights. It hasn't even had 1 night of sleep its entire life. 8/15 Checked ppm and pH, felt brave and added full dose PK. 8/16 Checked ppm and pH, pH remained steady at 5.9, ppm climbed to 1200. I let it run. 8/17 Checked ppm and pH, pH remained steady at 5.9, ppm climbed to 1400 and the bucket was empty. I knew I'd see burned tips soon. Added plain pH water, dropped to 800ppm. Left it to drink water. 8/18 Checked ppm and pH, tips showing burn but its definitely swelling, was it worth it? So far I'm thinking yes. Definitely yes. Ppm 950, pH 6.0 8/19 Checked ppm and pH, ppm at 1100, pH at 6.2 I watered it down with plain pH water to 700. I was feeling brave again, added more sweetener and PK booster. Ppm at 900. ( I made a mistake over the last 2 days and forgot to add cal-mag) 8/20 Checked ppm and pH, ppm went down to 800, pH at 6.2. Made no adjustments just added Cal-mag. I already had a slight deficiency going but not adding ANY to a plant that drinks 2 gallons a day was a huge mistake. It got a lot of brown patches and yellow but not everywhere. I also realized it was to close to the CMH. Plus a heat wave sent my temp to 88F while I was at work, not sure how long. I think I got a little bit of foxtail going on the very top tips. Adjusted temperature and raised light as high as I could. 8/21 Checked ppm and pH. This plant just eats and drinks to much. None of my other plants come close to this one. I have to check it everyday. My others can go up to 3 days untouched. This monster is impressive. I would reccomend this autoflower to anyone, but it says it's an intermediate grow level. It's been super easy for me. Really hope this monster finishes soon. All trichromes are clear.
