Light schedule 20 hours on 4 hours off and the same with ventilation. Humidity approx 50 percent, water intake raised up 125 ml per plant per day. Fertilization continues on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Biobizz family and Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday bat guano and Epsom salt. This week will change that shit lamp and replace with Marshydro 600W. Day 46, 2 days no update all good they are flowering nicely waiting for the new lamp. Critical Orange Punch nicely developing and the rest of them is coming as well. Today I set the new 600W Marshydro. I also set the light schedule for 18/6.

Aug 10: this scrog is looking okay. Likely will avoid doing it this way in future, but it will work out. Aug 11/13: don’t take flash pics of your plants unless you’re also immediately using a 730 nm light as a bloom booster. A bright light at that wavelength converts the hormone and allows the plant to go into dark mode two hours faster. Anyway, the red light cancels out the flash from the pics which is cool because buds look good in flash pics.

Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. Had some ups and downs with this plant. mainly the extreme yellowing that was happening. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and I feel this has suffered in the end. The top best looking buds could have been larger and the lower ones could have been thicker. There is some smells with this plant but they are not pronounced. Just smells like mild basic weed, this would be one reason not to grow it, however, the crystals on this plant have been the most I've ever grown before. When trimming them every time the scissors snipped or the brush stroked I saw some falling down onto the tray. This plant would be great for making hash. had a good little ball of finger hash at the end of it and will be giving that to my friends to smoke or make a strong edible with. I don't plan on growing this strain out again, the lack of smells and the fact I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. most of the lower growth is quite larfy but will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. I converted the cents into dollar amounts beforehand to avoid dividing by 100. 8.2c/h = 0.082$/h 438h * 0.17c/kwh = $74.46kw * 0.15kw = $11.17 on peak 522h * 0.113c/kwh = $58.99kw *0.15kw = $8.85 mid peak 1,272h * 0.082c/kwh = $104.30kw *0.15kw = $15.65 off peak The "h" hours and "kw" kilowatts cancel out and we are left with a value of $ dollars per peak period, add all the peak periods up and you get your total cost of running the lights in dollars. $11.17 + $8.85 + $15.65 = $35.67 for the grow light only. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 5.34oz or 151.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷151.6g = 2.22 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 151.6g = 0.24c/g It cost 24c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Welcome back looks like the topping went well these ladies are going 70s porn "so bushy" the blue dream haze i will leave as is and just lst on the scrog as they grow into it. lolly popped the 3 Strawberry ice and LST them with some foam wire and clips. the reboot looks like it might be an different phenotype by the look of its leaves. just a CAL MAG watering this week one more week of veg and I will flip these into flower. I have watched a you tube video on transition and it has been stated that 36 hrs. of dark will trigger a hormone response in the plant and help it flower faster?
