Bumped up the nutrients to 1.7 EC from 1.1 since they’re picking up in growth rapidly.

Bonjour a toutes et tous (cette semaine j ai eu un petit soucis sur une melon gum (bud rot) alors que je ne dépasse jamais 50% d humidité mais je pense le problème viens d autre part (les têtes ont triplé de taille en une semaine et vue qu'elles sont en contact c est pas top pour la circulation d air j ai donc enlevé les 2 têtes et désinfecté comme il le faut , j ai également monté un gros ventilateurs en plus ) Autrement tous ce passe plutôt bien d ici fin de la semaine on passera au flusch voilà voilà les amis j ai enfin trouver la force et le temp de sortir les plantes de la tante (hors mis les 2 plus grande melon gum / et cherry cookie) mais promis je les sortirais très vite.

I harvested at 30% amber trics..it snuck up on me fast, I assumed she was an 8 week strain at minimum but I was wrong..i don't take wet weight of buds so I'll update final weight in approx 10 days, happy growing!

1st week of 12/12 light going beautifully. They are doing really well. Although I still experienced root issues. I think this spot is cursed :P

Last week on nutrients , going on flush next sun , the 8 ball kush seems to be the happier strain with the 5 part salt nutrients , the blue OG is doing ok but the 8 ball is the chunkiest

This week had some exciting moments. I defoiled about 1-2 days after my last post. As you can see that growth came back within a week. They are officially so bushy, they are getting in their own way. I will defoilate them this weekend, and post a picture after that. I also had added some potassium silicate, and it caused a brown algae bloom :| So I ran H202 thru the system, and upped the amount of Enzyme Komplete i was using. This squared it away real quick, it did a great job of clearing it all out. Since this is my 2nd time growing this strain (1st was in soil, and had environmental issues, but did grow) this is where they were about 4-6 weeks before harvest in soil. They have the same coloring and puffy-ness to the buds. They also started with a heavy frosting on the sugar leaves that spread all over the plant. So if I was to guess, i would venture they are 4-5 weeks from harvest. The control plant is about 3-4 (maybe a touch less). These plants are still drinking like crazy, and its becoming expensive feeding them Emerald Harvest every 2-3 days >:|

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. The Permanent Markers are finally taking off! They've at least doubled in height since last week. Of course, they're still really small, but it's cool to see them finally getting going. They look healthy and are developing nicely. Well, another year has come and gone. Yesterday was New Year's Eve, and I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2025. May this year bring you all the things you've been wishing for. Let's make this the best year yet!

Plants are filling out nicely. Thick crystal production and smells very sweet and fruity in the tent as soon as you crack the zipper. Can't wait to see if we get some fading.

Plant is doin ok I noticed she's a little bit smaller than other phenotypes, but soon she will grow like a monster as she prepares for flowering stage, so I decided to start LST. As you can imagin guys, is my first LST and you may guess what happened 😢 Yes I broke a branch (with little sprouds) , Will I have serious consequences at harvesting? ****I confess i smoked the broken branch and the leaves (haven't smoke in months!) Man, now I can see this will be some trippy sh^t****
