Hello! I was absent for most of the grow and unable to properly fill out my journal but my caretaker did a great job following the directions I left. This is my 5x5 tent containing four 5gal sites in a RDWC loop with SE7000 led light. Fed General Hydroponic 10 part @ light strength. Seeds started 2/3 and chopped 4/12. Only training was a topping on week 3 and defoliating after the flower stretch. Not going to lie, I was so hyped to grow this strain that I began growing unimpressed when it seemed the cultivar it shared its space with was outshining them…but I gave the amnesia zkittlez ~2 more weeks and it really turned around. What seemed like just a jungle of loose leaves actually packed on some thick mass and accumulated the most intoxicating aroma of the taste of skittles I didn’t think possible from a plant. Of the 4 plants - 2 are amnesia zkittlez (on the right side in pic). They yielded 816g! 486g of nice buds 103g of trim 330g LARF / lower buds! Total RDWC 5x5 grow was 1429g! It’s only been curing for a couple of weeks but I’m really impressed by the terps and how enjoyable the smoke is! I would definitely recommend and grow again! 👍 Thanks for stopping by!

So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days. So am 15.05. hab ich nun das Licht umgestellt. Eigentlich wollte ich den Pflanzen noch mehr Zeit in den Töpfen geben aber die Zeit wird knapp zu meinem Sommerurlaub daher muss das ihnen reichen. In den nächsten zwei Wochen wachsen haben sie ja auch noch Zeit weiter zu wurzeln. Würde mich aber mal intressieren ob die Wurzeln in der Blüte irgendwann das Wachstum einstellen? Diese Woche haben die Pflanzen endlich mal etwas nach Dünger gerufen, dem Wunsch kam ich natürlich gerne nach. Versuch meinen VPD immer so auf 1,2 zu halten, denke das ist ein guter Kompromiss zwischen den Wachstumsstadien. Generell bin ich sehr zufrieden wie mein erster Homegrow so verläuft und das die Pflanzen so gesund sind. Macht aufjedenfall mortz den Spaß und hab auch schon sehr viel dazu gelernt.

09/03: Im pleased with their progress this week. They did indeed start growing nicely after their slow recovery adjusting to the removal of the humidity domes. I have my light at 60% and still about 18 inches away. My humidifier is never getting the humidity pas 59 when i want it to be in the mid 60s. And so i ordered the big AC Infinity humidifier and hoping it will do a better job. I was low of my typical nutrients and so i decided to try something new and bought an Advanced Nutrients stack. Going with the three part and B-52 and will mix in Big Bud, Overdrive, and Bud Candy later in the grow. Excited to see how this works out as i have seen a lot of great grows on here with these nutrients. I am just following their feeding chart recommendations until I dial in what i like. I plan to transplant them to their large 7 gallon auto pots sometime this week. Maybe as soon as tomorrow. 09/05: Transplant day! Today I transplanted them to their final 6.9 gallon pots. They all had great root systems that had not reached a root lock yet. I added some dynomyco to the transplant holes to help with root production. I will continue to water from the top for about a week before turning on the autopot drip system. 09/08: Decided to do an aggressive topping today, this was done at the 2nd to 3rd node, depending on the plant. I have not yet decided how i want to train them, but this will leave me with options while i decide over the next week. I know it looks like i took down half the plant, but trust me, we good. I may actually go with a form of main-lining that ive wanted to do for a couple years now.

what is small is beautiful. The girls look healthy and vital. coconut has an unnecessarily low EC - 0.8 and pH 7.4 - both from leaching measurements from coco samples in distilled water. The EC of the solution will be set at level 1.5 with the intention of gradually increasing it up to 2.5. pH by the same principle with a start around 6 and an upper limit of 6.5. looks easy right? What girls will say. Only time can show. I almost forgot. the led panel hangs closer to the tops of the plants

so week 11.. The gorillaz are carrying on beautifully, however I realised having 5 plants sharing one reservoir is now quite a bad idea.. 2/5 of them look to be well into flower, fattening up and some tri's starting to turn cloudy but look like theres still plenty of fattening up to do. The other 3 are now just beginning to fully pistil up so will still be requiring flowering nutes when I should be beginning a flush on the other 2.. any comment or advice on this would be greatly appreciated!? The Stardawgs have basically grown into tennis balls. Such a vast majority of bud sites all the way down look so much larger than I could ever have hoped and i've had to tie some of the buds to the main colas!! I will Be starting the flush this week as most Tri's are now cloudy i'd say around 4/5 currently but more throrugh macros will be taken as the days progress. The only problem i've had is some of the sugar leaves on 2 of the plants have really taken a beating and show some strange signs. I think the LED's aren't to be under estimated and i've battled some burning and what seems to be calmag issues through the grow.

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Day 02 - Tuesday - 08/11/20 - Total Days: 009 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looking less droopy. But still yellow. --- Decided to do a reservoir change. --- 4.5gal of distilled water --- 8ml of Sensi Grow A --- 8ml of Sensi Grow B --- 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- 4ml of B-52 --- 4ml of CaliMagic --- 4ml of Hydroguard --- 4 drops of Superthrive --- PH'd down to 5.8 --- Solution strength: 302 PPM --- Since I didn't want to risk over-watering the rockwool, I did not to do a top feed, may do one tonight after the sleep cycle (lights are still set to go off at 10am and back on at 4pm). --- As I was doing a reservoir change, I noticed that the tubes and bucket were a bit slimy. Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Going to let it ride until morning! Please feel better! [END OF WEEK 02]

Harvest Week 19, 19-25 February 2025 19-24 Feb - Observed and let the plant mature. 25 Feb - Harvested the plant, began the curing process. Jealousy Glue matured beautifully. I love the sweet, piney smell. The trichomes are mostly milky with very few amber colored, most hairs have turned brown, leaves have faded and turned purple around the bud area, all this is fine with me. The breeder recommended 68 days in flower, which is close to spot on with what she was grown in. She appears to have large, thick, resinous, and smelly buds. Very colorful I might add. It has me thinking her smoke must be good! She was cut down the morning of 25 Feb. All big leaves were cut off, and it was hung upside down in a closet by it’s branches. With a set RH of 55%, and temperature of 65 degrees F., it will hang here for 7-10 days, in darkness, with a slight air circulation (not directly on the buds). After that time the buds will be hand trimmed and then put into quart glass mason jars. I’ll place a size 8 Boveda 62 TerpShield in each jar and burp them until 62% RH is achieved. This usually takes about a week. Here they will cure for an additional 30 days. It will last in this state for a good 6-8 months. The Smoq Report: 11 March 2025 After 12 days curing I sampled some product. I couldn’t be more pleased with the flavor and potency. It is a smooth smoke, with a sweet herbal taste that will get you buzzed with just a couple of tokes. You can feel the high pick you up and any stresses or issues of the day just start to fade away and help turn your mind into a relaxing mode. You won’t feel couch locked, she has a good blend of genetics to keep you alert and talkative. She yielded fairly heavy with 11 ounces of smoke. 8 ounces of quality bud, and 3 ounces of lesser and more larfy bud. But it all smokes good. I will definitely grow this variety again, and recommend it to anyone who enjoys a quality uplifting high from a gorilla strain. - 19 Feb nutrient solution changed - 19 Feb feeding schedule updated - Using reverse osmosis water with EC/TDS at 0 - Nutrient Solution EC 0.8 at 51 degree F - Adjusting PH daily to 6.2 using GH up/down - Light power is at 75%, DLI 45 canopy coverage at 12hrs - Using General Hydroponics, HGC728040, Dual Diaphragm Air Pump, 320 GPH That is it for this grow. Well this plant and strain has changed my mind about Sativa strains #boom she smells amazing and her buds solid !!!

Starting to get some nice frosty flowers. The cycling UVB has really made the terps start early. Regular tea and water regimen and weekly nutes. I plan to add another layer of topsoil with nutes next week. Humidity control has been a slight issue. After watering I am typically hitting 80 - 85 rH - so will need to watch this. I could open the grow room door to reduce the rH but then I lose the CO2 buildup. Will stay the course for now. Plant #1 - Purple baby! This one has started to show some purple on the new inner leaves next to the new flowering sites. I am super stoked that one of the IX plants turned out to be a purple pheno. Just wish both did. Plant #2 - Flowering well considering it was behind all of the others. It doesn't have the purple pheno like its sister. Maybe it will still turn but not looking like it for now.
