Week 4 of flowering and the plant is still building structure rather than real bulk — bud development looks a bit underwhelming so far, except for the main cola where Gorilla genetics are starting to show. The plant remains extremely healthy with a massive number of bud sites across the canopy. Planning a more aggressive defoliation this week to improve light penetration and prepare for proper bud stacking in the coming weeks.

Welcome to the beginning of week 7 for Karen. Thank you for stopping by! I'm counting this as the first week of flowering but she's been sending out pistils for two weeks, so I guess that weeks four and five should have been flowering weeks. Sorry about that. Surprised to be here but excited to see the next few weeks. Day 44: This girl is amazing. She took the horrendous start I gave her for the first three weeks, and just exploded. Look at her now! If you are really interested, now look at Misty and Nesia - imagine what they could do! I am really pleased with Karen here, I think she has more surprises in store. I am very glad I decided to LST or she would be towering above everything else in the tent. I have noted early Mg deficiency, as more advanced on Nesia. Correcting with foliar and re-addition of CalMag to feed. Day 44.5: Fertigated approx 1.5l. Defoliated approx 10 leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Day 46: Fertigated 2l. Karen is very thirsty. Her roots have breached the side walls at the bottom of the pot in 360 degrees... this is the biggest root system I've had on any potted plant to date. She is stretching fast now, I think by the end of next week she will be done stretching. I must get a photo of her stem. The base is ridiculously thick. Overall Karen is shockingly good compared to expectations from the poor start. I can only imagine how big she would be. She is currently 27cm tall and at least 50cm in diameter. I count at least a dozen colas. Day 47. She is now 29cm tall and pistils are bursting forth at a phrenetic pace. I have added a comparison shot of my grow space for size reference. Day 47.5: Defoliated approx 30 fan leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Rearranged tent and cleaned floor. I have ordered some risers to raise the pots off the floor, this will make it easier to deal with run off. While I was inspecting Karen I had a good look at her roots. The fabric pot she is in has viewing flaps (they were designed for potatoes) and I had a look... every bit of the pot is full of roots, and they're all properly pruned. I see no circulation or binding. If Karen produces at anywhere near the rate she is supposed to then she might yield as much as 150g. Day 48.5: Rapid changes. Pistils everywhere, more stretching. Karen is very thirsty. Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Did a little LST to separate some bunched colas a bit. Had a really good inspect of the root system. Wow this plant is a beast. Day 48.75: Fertigated 3l Day 49: Height 34cm Diameter: 60cm. End of week summary. Really big week, she is stretching quicker and quicker. Today she has developed a striking scent. I will now have to keep the tent closed so temps will rise. Day 49.5: Removed about 10 fan leaves. On reflection back over this week I think I needed to be taking a top and side photo, so I shall do that from next week.

Well it got really cold this week, from 23°c down to 11°c, it was the perfect conditions to get my plants acclimated on the windowsill for the great outdoors 😊 i apologise i seem to be missing some photos but the girls were all topped at the 5th node to give them a stronger structure for the battling winds to come later in the year. When i got to site i mixed my own super soil, compost, coco & perlite with some additives, lime, potash, blood, bone & fish mix, keeping things 100% organic for the best flavours 👌 the girls are now out into their new homes for the next 6 months 😊 i hope you enjoy the tour of the garden 💚

Ok so at day 21 all 3 ladies look amazing so did some training on 2 of them.I will let the smaller one of the 3 grow a bit.Im using the same amount of nutrients since the first feeding I will increase the advanced nutrients to 2 ml per gallon this week.When I water these ladies I judge by lifting the pots and I just know when they are thirsty :).I have also increased the light intensity to 50 percent power and they are taking it well.Day 23 I decided to top one that I didn’t bend over I rubbed some cloning gel on her cut so she will get better soon.At this point I’m doing a lot of leaf tucking but they are looking very healthy.

SUMMARY: - overall everything went smooth but I overcompensated the LED height, I started too high (lack of extension cords), then I dropped them too low, ultimately burning the second set of "starter" leaves (after the cotyledon set). I didn't get the humidifier and climate to synergize in the way I liked either, but it went well overall. nov. 11 12:00 - third seed has still not been able to germinate, resorting to emergency soak in glass of bottled flat water 15:00 - seed taken out of glass back in damp paper towel nov.12 23:00 - put humidifier inside tent set to 95% but rH never got to 60% according to AC infinity's humidistat in between both smart pots at soil level - lowered lights from 30inch to floor to 20inch to floor - soil is 3.5" from floor - seedling canopy is 1.5" tall nov. 13 - 15:00 Grow tent climate stabilizing with the humidifier helping keep the rH between 50-60%, which is about 10% higher than before. - note: humidifier is set to max 95% rH on its setting, claims the rH is high around 80% but the AC humidistat right at the canopy claims it is closer to 50%. - Keeping the AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T6 controller set on 24/7 only on setting 2 - note: must be careful with the S6 active intake, as the ducting can drastically drop the cfm coming in, resulting in a rapidly increasing negative pressure which if left uncheck could force the tent to cave severely. It was very important to watch immediately when changing the inline fans speeds, and the ducting positioning to ensure a stable and safe pressure exists. - Temperature stable around 78F during 18H of LED light - soil is slowly drying up, its still significantly heavier than the empty pot, not quite moist so will have to see about watering, still trying to get those roots to work for it and avoid overwatering. - Turned on 6" mini fans to get the lanky stalks to dance a bit and strengthen, fans are about 2 feet away at 45 angle set on "normal" power nov. 14 19:00 - humidifier is able to get the tent to a low rH of around 60%+ nov. 15 14:00 - one hour after turning on lights without humidifier on and the rH drops from 53% (as it levels out to when lights are off for 8H) down to 40%. Nov. 16 17:00 - seedlings looking a little sad and in need of some water - the younger seedling’s leaves are starting to twist a little bit (like a propeller), this could potentially be from the mini fans moving them around. - gave both plants 3x waterings of 50ml each, over the course of 5 mins. Watered until run-off, soil was extremely light and dry as to encourage greater root growth. Water was measured at 6.92 and the run-off is measured at 7.21 for the younger smaller seedling but 8.14 for the larger older. Nov. 17 14:00 - seedlings had to sit in the room just under normal room lights as grow tent was set into final position and hooked up to the new ventilation going out of the house. - some potential concerns with the air exchange “leaking” cold air back into the tent - the concern is that the grow room sits around 70-74 during the warmest possible times - whereas, during the coldest possible times it is possible for the grow room to drop to 63, which is the lowest temp just outside of the danger zone - - 22:00 right now the fan settings are synchronized on 4 and humidifier set to 80% - it appears as if this setting will hold the rH around 60-70% and the temperature around 70-74F - grow room temp: 74 - humidifier: rH 78% - set to 80% - Older seedling getting some discoloured around the tips and a little bit of a brown tip - likely lowered LED too long, but they were out of the grow tent a few hours , so not worried at all and expect full recovery in 48 hours - Lights now 27 inch from the floor / 23 from canopy Specifications:😎👇 Seeds: - 2x White Widow feminized seeds from Crop King Seed Tent: - 4x4x6 Mammoth Grow tent LED: - 2x Spider Farmer SF1000 LED (default 100 watt draw for seedling but will be bumped up to 125 Watt for flowering if not sooner) Pots: - 2x 0.5 L starter pots - 2x 5 gal smart pots after transplant Soil: - Pro-mix containing mycorrhizae and perlite, used for starter pots and mixed at roughly 1:3 ratio with Ocean Forest - Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, used in the 5 gallon pots and mixed with roughly 3:1 ratio with pro-mix - note: pro mix was mixed thoroughly with ocean forest in the 5 gal pot, then pro-mix was used on the top layer, in and around where the transplant will be to help the early veg stage avoid getting too "hot" via nutrients. Had a busy week and have lost track of exactly what happened on which day. Early in the week I noticed slowing growth and so checked runoff EC which was drastically into the negative, indicating the plants were taking in more nutrients than I was providing them. I have been increasing inflow EC all week. This has caused MASSIVE growth. I continued to adjust the LST points as well as commencing some defoliation after first pestils showed. This is the only real sign of flowering on either of the two plants thus far which is great as it will see these plants continue to get larger and larger. At nearly full concentration of suggested nutrients, I am quite surprised the plants are taking in as much as they are. Noticed the Blue Diesel is growing 9 pronged fan leaves which is a sign of great health. I am really enjoying growing with coco coir. It is so easy to manage though it does involve daily work. There is very little guess work and so long as you are good with plants already, it seems like the coir offers "the best of both worlds" between soil and full hydro. I do intend on starting a soil grow in the next few weeks to compare. Stay tuned!

Our Test #4 have just been revealed to the public with the name of Slurricane, a genetics with a full Californian style. Our Slurricane have germinated at the speed of light, I put one first that you see big now that it will be worked with the topping x16 buds and another small one just germinated, freed from the placenta and beautiful as ever. Let's learn to solve placenta problems, if the plant remains too long in the condition you see in the photo it dies or gets permanently damaged it is essential to recognize this problem just in time and solve it with the utmost delicacy. Just remove it being careful not to remove the plant from the soil by stretching it delicately and/or helping yourself with something precise to remove it from the cotyledons and let the leaves open as you can see in the following photos. When the seed remains attached it is nice to take photos and reels, very cute but do it quickly and remove the placenta with the utmost delicacy you can in short. It always happens so learn to do it it is not an enthetic defect I recommend not to confuse things, it happens in percentage to the plants that you do to me at 2/4 out of 20/25 seeds more or less. We do not let them die it is a small skill to have though. Loved this plant will have a smoke report soon. It really responded well to feedings and heavy feedings at that. The buds packed on weight and frost. This was by far my favorite of this run!

The Mimosa ladies are now starting to bloom 🎉 I hope they don't stretch too much though. The light is almost at the highest position because I want to prevent another light stress episode. Ofcourse there is always supercropping, but I want to prevent any stress at this point. I'm slowly switching to bloom nutrients but in small amounts. Stay tuned for more updates and pictures later this week ☘️😀 The two plants in the back are full in bloom, but the one in the front is kind of a late-bloomer. It may make a sprint to the finish, but otherwise I will harvest the two other plant and leave this one to bloom a bit longer. We still have 4 to 5 weeks ahead of us and so much can happen in a few weeks. I'm very happy about how the plants made their recovery after the light stress. They look great and seem in good condition.
