I grew two plants of the FFT1 testers. I started them indoors in the spring during COVID19 lock down. The germination date was the week of March 25, 2020. I didn't start the grow diary at that time because I was having a really hard time coping with the COVID19 non-sense and I wasn't sure I was completely committed to properly documenting the grow. In the end, I think this grow helped me cope... ha! So I topped one FFT1 plant, and let the other grow 'native' with no interventions at all. Both were grown totally organically with no added nutrients. We moved the plants outside on May 1, 2020 into our home made greenhouse/trellis. I took a few photos but I was still not committed to documenting the grow. I wasn't even sure if the plants would grow well considering I hadn't provided them with any nutrients at all. In fact I felt like I was neglectful of the ladies LOL. It became clear to me by June that these plants were gonna take off... they were growing like mad! I realized that I really HAD to share what was going on in my back yard. Also, I had made the commitment to FastBuds, and I was sure they would want to see the plants. I started this journal as soon as they started the first signs of flowering. By the time the stretch was done Big Mama (my first FFT1 plant) was an insane monster at 10 feet fall. Little Sister (the second FFT1 plant) was a solid 7 feet tall. Big Mama had been topped and mainlined and holy cow she was HUGE with eight main colas. Little Sister had not been topped and she was less than half the size. The buds were beautiful as you can see from the photos. They weren't super fat, and they weren't super frosty, but they were like piles of spaghetti noodles with beautiful streaks of amber. There were bud sites ALL OVER. Near the end of the grow, as the buds were 99% ripe I started to see small spots of bud rot in Big Mama. That's when I pulled the trigger and started the harvest. COVID19 put a real damper on our harvest party, but we were able to call in a few friends from our 'bubble.' Big Mama's wet yield was around 2600g and Little Sister offered 1300g. I was totally astonished. I have to LOL any time I look at the numbers LOL. We trimmed all of Big Mama by hand, but lost our steam for Little Sister. Her trim was rough, and we will have to use our Trimbag to clear off some of the foilage... I adjusted my dry weight numbers to accommodate for this. We dried them in the mesh tiered dry racks for the first few days and then moved them into large paper bags. They are not quite as dry as I think they should be, and so I have adjusted my dry weight numbers to reflect this. Total dry weight for both plants is coming in at 2000g total which is around 4.5 pounds. We put a bunch in the vapes and had a whole lot of fun! The vibe is a solid hybrid offering lots of energy for chit chatting and talking shit. But it's not a racy energy... it's somehow relaxing at the same time. We watched Alone on Netflix and made out... while eating ice cream and chips LOL. I was properly stoned. Stoned as fuck. My eyes were completely red and Njaak was a squinting grinning mofo. He's saying it's his new favourite, and that's before it's cured. This bodes well! So we have put the weed back in paper bags for the cure and are excited about this one. The flavour... we are going with sweet with a bit of citrus, but I think we need a bit more time to let it cure before we could offer reliable data. I'll update more on that later.

Day 15-defoliated her probably for the last time after a few weeks of growth, she was very bushy. Added another fan to get more air moving as well. Also, I decided to try out the AN Sensi Bloom set. I didn’t mean to get the coco version but a little extra cal-mag won’t hurt in this case, I only fed at 75% strength and added big Bud powder at 0.5 grams/liter. I’m hoping her stretch finishes soon or I’ll run out of space, although she’s starting to really stack.

FLOWERING WEEK 1 - 4TH DAY FLOWERING/WORM TEA

I started getting new growth from the tops of my colas. I thought this might of been down to raising the light up 10cm but it might of been down to high light intensity so I also moved one abit further away from the other to try and help. The pictures in the dark and videos was around 4minutes before the lights came on as all my photos are over exposed. Next to this plant I have an experiment with pink kush and zombie kush using the light given of from this grow.

Started LST on the plant. Found a 6w LED light tube meant for an aquarium/terrarium and have started using that in a 24 hour light schedule. Also giving it nutes with BioBizz Fish Mix and seaweed that I use on my vegetables, but I'm using small amounts to avoid any problems.

26 - 2 noviembre

Hi Growmies, She did not take well to the ec of 2.0 that I intended to feed her, so I changed the reservoir again midweek and went down to 1.6, after feeding her canna flush with RO water for 24 hours. She seems very forgiving, as she didn’t even get stunted by the lockout. 4 of the 8 shoots went through scrog and were super cropped underneath the screen. The others should catch up any day now and will be trained in a similar fashion. Rootball looks also amazing. I will experiment with continuously feeding her orca every 3 days, as it feels like the mycorrhizal inoculants seem to go down after 3 days and root growth slows down. Let’s see if it’ll work. Drei Pflanzen. Ein Herz. Ein gemeinsames Ziel. Woche 11 markiert für dieses Projekt einen ganz besonderen Abschnitt. Was vor einigen Wochen als Experiment mit drei einzelnen Pflanzen begann, fühlt sich inzwischen wie eine einzige, perfekt zusammengewachsene Apricot an. Jeder Blick auf den Stamm erinnert mich daran, wie viel Vertrauen ich in dieses Training gesetzt habe. Drei Pflanzen wurden zu einer Einheit verbunden – und heute versorgen sie sich gegenseitig, als wären sie schon immer ein einziger Organismus gewesen. Genau solche Momente machen Homegrowing für mich so faszinierend. In dieser Woche hat sich der Fokus endgültig auf die Blütenbildung verlagert. Fast jeder Trieb produziert inzwischen kompakte Buds, die von Tag zu Tag dichter werden. Gleichzeitig beginnt sich eine schöne Schicht aus Trichomen über die Sugar Leaves zu legen und verleiht den Blüten bereits jetzt einen frostigen Schimmer. Besonders im Morgenlicht sieht man, wie die ersten Harzkristalle langsam das Licht reflektieren. Die Struktur der Pflanze gefällt mir inzwischen ausgesprochen gut. Durch das frühe Training gelangt das Sonnenlicht nahezu an jeden Budsite, wodurch sich die gesamte Pflanze sehr gleichmäßig entwickelt. Genau das war das Ziel dieses Projekts – keine dominante Hauptcola, sondern viele kräftige Blüten, die sich gemeinsam entwickeln. Natürlich zeigen die unteren Blätter inzwischen erste Alterserscheinungen, was in diesem Stadium völlig normal ist. Die Pflanze steckt ihre gesamte Energie inzwischen sichtbar in die Blütenproduktion. Genau dort soll sie jetzt auch investieren. Ich bin unglaublich gespannt, wie sich die Buds in den nächsten Wochen noch verdichten werden. Das Fundament ist gelegt – jetzt beginnt die Phase, in der Gewicht, Harzproduktion und Aroma Woche für Woche deutlich zulegen dürften. Jede Woche erzählt ihre eigene Geschichte. Woche 11 fühlt sich an wie der Moment, in dem aus einer spannenden Idee langsam Realität wird. What started a few weeks ago as an experiment with three individual plants now truly feels like a single Apricot growing as one. Every time I look at the main stem, I'm reminded of how much trust I put into this training technique. Three separate plants were carefully connected, and today they support each other as if they had always been one organism. Moments like this are exactly why I love growing so much. This week the plant has fully shifted its energy into flower production. Nearly every branch is carrying developing buds that continue to gain size and density every day. At the same time, the sugar leaves are becoming increasingly covered in sparkling trichomes, giving the flowers that beautiful frosty appearance. Especially in the morning sunlight, the resin glands are already starting to catch the light. I'm really happy with the overall structure. Thanks to the early training, sunlight reaches almost every flowering site, allowing the entire canopy to develop evenly. That was the goal from the beginning—not one oversized main cola, but many strong flowers growing together across the whole plant. Some of the older lower leaves are naturally beginning to fade, which is completely expected at this stage. The plant is clearly redirecting its energy into flower production, exactly where I want it to be. I'm incredibly excited to watch the next few weeks unfold. The foundation has been built, and now comes the stage where density, resin production, aroma and overall flower quality should improve dramatically week after week. Hey everyone First week of flowering here Plant is doing great Removed some starting popcornbuds and took away some mint and Lemon Balm. Was getting bushy down there 😂 Gave a last feeding with Alga Grow, next I will start up flowering nutrients. PH around 5,8. Will water in a bit higher next time. Sprayed her with Vita Race for one of the last times. Neem Oil doing his job too, no bugs to see 🙏 Weather is not that great. Not that much sun and cold nights. Lots of rain this week too and upcoming week no difference 😒... What a great summer huh haha So far so good See you guys next week Happy growing 😉🙏

Pre98 Bubba , oh how I’ve missed you for so many years! These ones came out absolutely gorgeous! Loving the the purple phenos 😍 ! These ladies liked to stretch quite a bit so you’re gonna want to use some LST on em but I also recommend topping at least 6 times to get a better bang on your yield ! Expect nice tight purple buds with a tremendous amount of frost covering, some of the frostiest Bubba I’ve ever had! Over all I give it 10 stars an would definitely over an over run this strain!

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
