Day 65. Heavy training in progress ... All done, hopefully not many natural protectors lost, took about 30 liters bag full off leaves and shoots, could do like 100 clones easy ;))) All girls lolitoped, cleared, defoliated, rewired, some had supercroping. Skunks were happy when last Cheese was done, so i think/hope - all will go smooth. This time i really cleared them a lot, maybe the most in my career ... Cheeses performed thicker and more stacked branches . Fun is starting !!! Day 66. Got my last puzzle of protection against thrips. I think i beat them already, yesterday haven't noticed any thrips on leaves, but i am old and blind ;))) They where ordered a week ago, so just in case ... Girls look just fabulous !!! I think it will be very nice harvest by bag appeal, hopefully weight will make me smile too ;)))) I still think to strip them hard at the end of week 5 or week 6 if they will delay in progress .... At the moment they are just perfect ! Day 69. Here comes my moan ;)) Stretch was not so big as i expected, looks like 80 is more real target than 100. They look very nice and healthy and i beaten thrips , but this time i cleared too much i feel ;))))) Future will show ... Happy Growing !!!

Week 3. This is where the fun begins. The smell is amazing. The stretch is crazy and the stems are stiff like bamboo. There's no loss in terps. They're actually getting a lot stronger!!

На этой неделе была обрезка веерных листьев, я часто практикую дефолиацию автоцветов. Надеюсь проблем со светом не будет, растения уже показали "усы" свой пол, значит стадия предцвета будет примерно через неделю, хочу что бы они стали ещё больше и набрали "мяса" массу. Not much to report for week 5, the introduction of the Co2 is a success, the Northern Lights Auto are enjoying life and showing early signs of blooming. One of the 3 plants is growing so much faster and bulkier than the other 2 the fan leaves of this particular plant are huge the stems and branches are growing thick and strong the only training these gils are getting is defoliation and LST. Both girls started preflower on Tuesday and already I can see that they started stretching nicely. Scrog net will be installed by the end of this week. Week 5 13-19 Nov. 13/11 day 36 First runoff experience for girls. Loaded both pots with approx. 2.5 ltr each in 4 stages of 500-700ml. Runoff 100-150ml from each. Runoff PH 5.9. Nutrients for this watering were same as on previous week and added only calmag. Next watering possibly Friday but with new measurements. 14/11 day 37 Both 🍌💜👊 girls started preflower on same day. Xena is catching up quick to her larger sister and possibly soon they will be sharing this growing space 50/50 15-16/11 days 38-39 Just happy and healthy days 😁 nice steady growth. 17/11 day 40 Second watering for this week. 5.5l beetwen both. Runoff Ph 6.1 19/11 day 42 Most busiest day so far. Both girls got very bushy in last few days and they stretched enough to install scrog net. Dia 95 de vida , hay dos fotos que son del dia 91 de vida antes de amarrar las plantas, las demás fotos son actuales. Hay una ola de calor esta haciendo mas de 35 grados celcius y hace mal tiempo de un momento a otro puede hacer alguna tormenta así que decidimos coger las plantas para ayudarlas a resistir en caso de temporal. Siguen creciendo y estan monstruosas aunque las indicas ya van marcando pistilo yo creo que aún tardarán en florecer por el momento todo va genial esperemos que no nos arruine el cultivo ninguna tempesta.

week 5. oct 9 I believe I am getting the calmag deficiency corrected - none on new leaves. one stretched to 23 inches by 10-16. growing about 1.5" a day. the middle plant is at 15.5" 10-16. growing over an inch per day. hopefully they stop next week when they are flowering. the back plants definitely show signs of flowers with the hairs starting to grow. Interestingly the plants at the front seem a few days behind.

It is harvest day for Miss Sweet Skunk. Due to the excessive rain this week and two places of bud rot, Mother Nature forced me to take her down. 2 more weeks would have been nice but that didn't happen. If you have been following me then you know that Miss Sweet Skunk encountered a terrible misfortune. It hailed one evening and one of her two colas was broken. My husband found her damage first and taped her up and then put a wire tie around her. According to the grow diary question/answer platform, I was able to learn that we had done the right thing and changes were good that she would recover from her injury. Not only did Sweet Skunk recover, but she went onto growing at a height of 2 feet, 11 inches. That is just under 100 cm. According to Royal Queen website, "Sweet Skunk Auto seeds produce plants that grow to a very manageable height of around 60–100cm." AND even though Sweet Skunk had a broken stem, she GREW! This plant was a very tall and lanky plant. Her buds are plentiful but started out quite small. I wish I had another couple of weeks to see her reach her full potential, but that is left for another grow. For now, I am happy she survived all the weather that Mother Nature threw at her this week and it is a good day:) **The last two pictures are pictures of my indoor grow of Sweet Skunk that I did NOT record on grow diaries. However, it is a great way to compare an outdoor grow and indoor grow of the same strain. Stay turned for weigh ins.

Very hot and dry. Temp above 100. Humidity 28% Plants did fine but took serious amount of extra water.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Now that you are all caught up, we are in week three a flower. I just gave them a top dress feet of Gaia green just blown because I still have just a little bit up all purpose in there but other than that I look at them every morning, give a big smile and turn on their favorite Mosark album

The buds on Rucucu Cucu are getting fatter by the day! As they swell up, the aroma is becoming more intense — a strong, sweet bubblegum scent with a spicy undertone. If everything keeps going well, this is shaping up to be an excellent smoke. The plant is growing so vigorously that I had to remove some leaves to give the lower buds more light and space. The main cola has stopped stretching and is now packing on some serious weight. Meanwhile, the side branches are still competing for the spotlight and are developing some impressive flowers of their own. One lovely surprise: some beautiful purple hues are starting to show up in the bigger buds — totally unexpected, but definitely a nice bonus ✌️☘️ That’s it for now. Another week with a lot of studing in order to understand what's going on, to then take the proper action. It hasn't been easy, most of the time I have no clue of what the plants are doing. I tried some fimming last week to help even the canopy but it didn't seem to work. Two of them are smaller than the others, I took the smaller one out of the center of the light to give the chance to the others to get more light since it wasn't growing at all due light burn, and one of them was too far from the light, so now is very stretchy. They have been growing fast, any suggestions on how to train them? I think is time to get a new light. I'm thinking about getting a HPS 600 watts, what do you think?
