Week 14 – Getting Fatter Every Day 💛🌾 The fade is moving in stronger now, but the buds keep getting fatter and denser every single day. The smell is really good already — loud, sweet, spicy, and pushing more each week. 💧 Feeding (this week) Watered with: • 60 ml Bloom • 60 ml TopMax • 30 ml EM • 30 ml Bat Boost • 30 ml CalMag • 1.7 g Epsom salt They drank it well and are still building heavily. 🌱 Notes Even with the yellowing leaves, bud production is still rising. Top dressed Asman and Asal with a tablespoon of Dr. Earth Bloom and 3 tbs of worm castings. Added terpinator, microbials and molasses to calmag'd water. Benesh got fed last week with the same load/mix and is doing great. No defoliation or much training early this week. Did some heavier defoliation on Sunday to give more of the bigger and higher buds space. Will make a TCHA tincture off of the defoliated buds, which I will add to later. Lovely mint and chocolate aromas on my fingers after the defoliation.

FRIDAY 1/18: I flushed Agnes with a gallon of sledgehammer plus calimagic, and fed a half-gallon of nutes to Agatha and Alma. SATURDAY: Foliar fed a few times. Agnes still looks like shit.. SUNDAY: I foliar fed them a few times. I'm gonna transplant Agnes into a 5 gallon pot tomorrow. She must have root problems. I hate transplanting after they've been in flower this long, but I see no way around it if she's gonna produce any decent buds for me. MONDAY: I foliar fed them a few times today. I mixed up some happy frog soil and coco coir at about a 3:1 ratio, then mixed in about 4 cups of perlite and some bat guano, then transplanted Agnes into a 5 gallon fabric pot using that lighter mix to fill the pot. I watered her in with some flower's kiss foliar fert...hope she likes it.🙏

Chopped her two days into week 14. What else. Buds. There are a lot of them. And they are quite large. And they look like they will require little effort to trim. What more can I wish for? I am a very happy man. Upd 1: Trimming is SO SIMPLE! Not much sticking out to begin with, because of the amazing bud structure and me plucking most bud node fans. Solid nugs which are not bothered by anything, so pulling smaller sub-bud fans is very simple too, while the buds are what I would call moist. I'll call this Moist Trim 😄 ✂️✂️✂️ Went for the best trimming tools available on the market (well at least my research concluded so) and LOVING every minute of trimming with the B-500SRF. Why would I or anyone else use something less suitable or less comfortable for such a delicate and long job is beyond me, except if you cannot afford one right now, in which case I wish you to experience it one day. Fiskars are also very good in therms of the blades, coating and cutting ability and precision, but the spring is just too stiff, like way, way to stiff for something that is to be used for hours on end. One might argue that such spring force helps overcome resin buildup, but please just rinse your instrument regularly in an appropriate solvent (ethy, iso, whatever — consider you instrument materials as well) and wipe it after. Why would you let significant amounts of resin to accumulate on such a gentle and precise tool? Kinda defeats the purpose?

Tenth week of Veg for most of the girls. Start of second week of flower for Purple Punch. The Sour Diesels are now beginning to flower. Day 58, 11th of November 2020: I set the lamp 15 minutes shorter to switch off earlier so she receives 11:45 of darkness. I would like to imitate the nature when longer nights come with time till the 4th week (when she will receive 13 hours darkness a day 15 minutes minus 4 times = 1hour) so every week 15 min longer darkness for 4 weeks and then back to 12/12 to have bigger buds from the 4th week.... My cute Red Mandarine. Hopefully streching stops bud sites are appearing pistils are coming out showing her sex. Good job Sweet Seeds..... Nice lady I wanna see that red colour lol Fertilization happens every 2nd day with the mix and ratio above. Let's go ;)

The Banana Purple Punch great strain with a super Sweet and Berries aroma. I had bad issues in the beginning with the development and the grow of the plant. I amost gave up on the seed but she bounced back. She got cut today and put to dry. Give a 10 to the Banana Purple Punch

Well, there’s no ghost the VIVO sun pumps that come with the kits they just suck that’s OK. I replaced them with the upgraded version. I refilled the reservoirs

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Nov 12th Grow went absolutely stunning, these Sherbet Auto flowers from NOS are the bees-knees, you can do whatever you want to them training wise and they will thrive, as well as stay compact. Ideal for micro grows, or people who like small plants and thick, dense, frosty nuggets. I see about 5-10% amber trichomes as of November 12th, today or tomorrow I will do a final water, and turn the lights off for 48 hrs before chopping and hanging to dry in the same grow space. I'm drying in the grow space because of the aphids, I need the plant material to dry, and the aphids to die, before I take them out to trim or cure, because my other Mango Runtz tent flying under the phid's radar so far. So a major reset is gonna take place before I plant more autos. One is turning pink and pretty quick I like that it fits the sherbet theme!

This week, my cannabis plant is showing some signs of thirst. Unfortunately, I had to cut back on watering due to a small infestation of fungus gnats. To combat the problem, I decided to apply nematodes. Hopefully, they will take care of the larvae in the soil. Despite the reduced watering, the plant still looks strong and healthy overall. The buds are continuing to develop nicely.🌱🌱 I'm really curious to see how things progress in the coming weeks, especially now that the pest issue is being addressed.💚 Be excited for the coming weeks 💚🌱🌱

Comenzamos con la fertilización de nuestras plantas, correspondiendo con la semana 2 de la tabla. Recordad que la semana de germinación no cuenta como vegetativo. Mezclamos 4ml x litro de Grow-Soldier by JUJU Royal BioBizz y 1ml x litro de Green-Mystic by JUJU Royal BioBizz. Total 10 litros, 5 de agua osmotizada y 5 de agua del grifo, mezclados con los 40ml y 10ml, de los fertilizantes. Ajustamos el PH con reguladores BIO, en el caso que sea necesario y regamos todas las macetas. De esta forma aportaremos los nutrientes necesarios para que nuestras plantas puedan comer en el sustrato de de coco.

Just got a new 600w mh/hps light for now it’s in my current setup with my 250 n it’s dimmed to 50%, only reason I mention is b/c the plants seem to be loving it!! They’re 12 days old from seed, still just ph’d water for them! So far so good :P
