The addition of an enzyme has produced amazing results that were shocking and worrying at first. Massive rise in EC and PH every 24 hours from 5.3 - 6.8. Research yet no sign of any harm to the plants, in fact they seem very happy! The enzymes has created an environment friendly to the beneficial microbes and fungi that has lead to a feeding frenzy (Which wouldn't have happened ad I used Hygrozyme from the start.). EC rises a point or two as the microbes and plants expel waste and create a plethora of negative charged hydrogen ions. Thus, the PH rises. Never above 6.8, strangely. Because the microbes are eating and shitting so well, they have added a lot of chilated nutrients that are easier for the plants to uptake at a wider range of PH (Yes, some as high as 6.8). The fact that there are so many bunches of calyxes sprouting and exploding, filling in the flower space is proof enough for me. Always dry trim. The leaves come off more easily when dry and it preserves more THC with the longer drying time. Will weigh up in 7-10 days. Smoke report. The leaves are looking better, so I’m now 100% confident that it was a nitrogen deficiency combined with senescence. The buds are also getting a bit bigger now. Maybe I’ll give her a little more time and harvest her after Christmas. The Blumat Digital Pro Plus is really helpful, making my watering spot-on. Great tool!

Day 31 - What a healthy green plant like always , the petioles of the leaves are purplish but it is pretty commun for that strain so we are far from a magnesium deficiency here. The smell is the typical deep citrus one from that strain. The trichomes production is already huge and we are barely half the way now so imagine what it will be in 4 weeks 😍

01/09/2022 Finally time to flower, and all girls went into flower room at lights out.The males will be next week, don't want to put them in to early so I will carefully check every day and separate before they open their flowers. I'm guessing week 3-4 I Will select two branches on each female to selectively pollinate. 01/11/2022 Blue Matter #5 (update #5 culled male) repotted with lemon og seed Will continue in her own evolving diary. My hope is to eventually graft different cuts for a multiple variety mom plant, I can have 6 total plants And would be nice to be able to maintain only one mom.

What can a say; it’s been a ride! Seven months of love, hard work and just being a good shepherd to these ladies. These giants were an incredible experience, they taught me a lot! What separates the good from the great is the ability to persevere, to be dedicated to a vocation morning noon and night, on top of the work we do for money. There were days that I was dead beat from working in the hot sun, it was a very hot summer here where I live; still I dug deep and loved these plants each and every day, and at the end it showed, and payed off completely for my efforts. It’s a bittersweet moment to harvest these illustrious and incredible plants; I sought so much therapy, purpose and love in these beautiful beings that I nurtured, they are a physical representation of my love and care, and they are beautiful beyond words; I see the product of my love manifest itself physically in these beauties. They couldn’t have made me more proud; this was a monumental grow, the kind of grow that shows you what your made of, and then blows that precedent away. I am honoured to call this crop my own 🔮💜

Flipped to 12/12 at the end of Week 7. The manganese issue seems to have been solved by lowering the pH levels. Ordinarily I'd strip most everything below the net this week, but a friend asked me to leave him some clippings until week 2-3 of flower. I cleaned it up a little underneath the net, continued to tuck new growth, and started to slack back on grow nutes, and slowly introduce flower nutrients. I was hoping to have a second Aglex 2000 COB LED to add to the tent for flower, but it may be another week or two before I can add it.

With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

This was a pretty stable week. I finally moved my flowers to the new growing area I’ve created. It’s powered by Gavita Pro fixtures and Phillips mastergrow bulbs. They have been in here for about 3 days at this point. From now on my future diaries will showcase more plants, larger scale, but still with artisan minded craft. Excited for what the future will bring, almost as excited as I am to cut down these plants when they take on their fall colors over the next 3 weeks! I’m Expecting a harvest of 1-1/2 oz per plant, but may get more or less. Time will tell.

Semana del 19 al 25 de abril La semana pasada aplicamos el insecticida Tec Fort y fenomenal, no vimos ningún otro insecto, ni daños en las hojas. Por prevención hoy, 19 de abril, lo volvimos a aplicar (1ml por litro de agua). Voy a parar con la poda y en una o dos semanas volveré a podar las hojas bajo la malla o aquellas muy grandes que hacen sombra a los cogollos. Tampoco quiero estresar tanto la planta. Creo que las plantas van bastante bien y que he mejorado desde la primera vez. Soy muy nueva en esto, pero creo que voy bien. Dentro de unas semanas comenzaré a usar el microscopio para ver que tal van. Espero obtener cogollos gordos😍 de momento huele muy afrutada.
