Week 7 for Strawberry Gorilla by fastbuds, Absolutely loving this plant atm cant believe how much shes bulked up flower wise putting in mind shes only been in flower for 3 weeks! Shes been giving out such a sweet strawberry like scent cannot wait for her to be done. Getting a little worried because of the weather we've been having 😪 just rain on rain.... whenever i can i put her under shelter but the humidity is very high because of it. She was fed only once this week with some FPJ, Regulator, Enzym+ & Topbooster by @aptus_portugal just to give it an extra boost!

First experience, low budget set up, poor product as expected i wanted to try and flavor profile was nice, produce a sleepy effect as i intended but buds are not hard or dense, as i expected…

Esta semana ya realice la poda. Se encuentra en estos momentos en etapa de secado dentro de una caja especial para secados de flores que uso siempre y nunca me falla. En humedo hay 195g y utilice una lampara led de 150w en todas sus etapas. Próximamente estaré publicando cuando este en curado.

By the end of week 3 both plants had 6 nodes and I topped both above node 4. Both plants were starting to grow rapidly and we watched for any slow down after topping. Started to use the Fox Farm nutrients. So far no issues. Plants really starting to grow. Watching how much water trying not to overwater. Lifting the pots when wet gives great reference to when water/feed is needed. Some time gaps in the photos uploaded...!

Week 9 - First Week of Flowering 🌸 The dark period has ended, and these ladies came back into the light fully energized and ready for action! It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. [ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.
