Flower week 9

Day 60F The PM on the cheese has gotten significantly worse in the last few days. I think it may have something to do with the constant humidity spikes every time I water. I haven’t been running my humidifier at all in flower so maybe it’s having trouble keeping the RH up during lights on. Just another reason to follow a daily watering schedule. The cheese and slurricane look fucking disgusting and I’m starting to doubt that a peroxide wash can totally fix it. It worked well for my outdoor crop so it should be fine but this time there is probably 3x the amount. I’ll make sure to really soak the buds and rinse them off good. Bbb#1 is flopping over like crazy from the weight. Too late to stake it up now so hopefully it holds until next week. Starting to foxtail a bit but nothing too bad. It is now 100% done and ready for chop. Bbb#2 is just getting frostier and frostier by the day. The purple fade is really coming along nicely too. Might reveg. It is now 100% done and ready for harvest. Black garlic #1 is finally filling out! I can’t believe it. Never heard of a plant packing weight on like that in week 8. The breeder did mention that it packs on weight later but I’m stunned. Taking her to 9.5 weeks. Black garlic #2 is looking very average. Average color, average size buds, average frost, average smell, probably an average yield. And it’s starting to get a bit of PM. Overall not happy. Will be taking her to 9.5 weeks. Zkittlez #1 has pleasantly surprised me. It was a bushy runt in veg but came through. It’s the third frostiest in the tent, super dense, stacked tight, smells great and looks great. It’s already got a nice amount of amber so it’s 100% ready for chop. Slurricane #4 looks insanely frosty even under all that PM. If I can’t wash it off it’s going in the trash. I want to chop this asap but have to cut everything at once unfortunately. It’s 100% ready for harvest. Badazz OG cheese is looking like a decent yielder but doesn’t have much else going for it. I think it still has some filling out to do. I can’t even smell the final profile change yet. The leaves are rotting off very quickly. Taking her 9.5 weeks. I don’t mind harvesting a bit later rather than early. From my outdoor experience, when a plant is picked early it smells like hay and wet grass clippings until it’s been curing for 3 weeks. When I harvest late or at 30-50% amber trichomes it smells like same scent profile it had when growing. Just my experience. I’ve read that the tobacco industry adds calcium and potassium carbonate to their crops to help promote fire holding capacity and to increase the whiteness of ash. Turns out some of the organic amendments I bought last week contain exactly that. I’m going to give each plant a light top dress to see if the tobacco industry is onto something.

Fala galerinha do mal, muito contente nesse início de semana, as plantas estão com pleno vigor e se desenvolvendo, decidi aplicar um LST na maior pra tentar tornar ela mais arbustiva, a menor eu decidi podar o nó que estava começando a crescer pra incentivar os novos ramos e depois promover um LST mais pra frente. As duas plantas tem diferenças visíveis pelos problemas que cada uma teve nas primeiras fases da vida, a partir disso decidi aplicar as técnicas que usaria, a grande teve um crescimento maiorno caule principal, o que facilitou as amarras. Já a pequena não distribuiu muita força pro caule, mas sim na proliferação de brotos novos então decidi optar pela poda do nó principal que estava no início do desenvolvimento para incentivar o crescimento dos brotos novos, nas fotos que fica bem visível o que eu fiz. Hi Growmies, So far she is developing very nicely. Had someone from the community suggest plant success orca and Rezin to me, sp these were added for the next weeks feed to prepare the pre flower. The roots have started to nest themselves right above the airstone. As of now I think I’ll give her two more weeks and then flip her, as she is stretching a bit slower than I thought she would. this is a pretty low risk, high reward strain as far as growing goes. this cut has a uniquely tart flavor, and has potent effects with a high ‘roof’ to the buzz. reputable strain for sure, hesitate not to consider for your garden.

well, another week goes by and it's growing not like I expected hehehe but that's ok, living and learning, and for now I'll just wait for this cycle to end to start a new one and post it here and I'll tell you right away that I ordered a kit advanced nutrients starter and will test it on the new cycle. =D

I’m growing Purple Queen from Royal Queen Seeds, Citradelic Sunset & Zweet Inzanity from Ethos Genetics, and King Kong From Big Buddha Seeds. Germination happened within 24hrs on all but the Zweet Inzanity which took almost 48hrs and I planted the seeds straight into their pots. I’m using Redbud living soil with Cannaseur seed blend (Amazon find) which includes 13 different types of seeds for cover crops. Straw is being used as a top dressing/mulch. I’m growing under two Spectrum King 602GH LED lights. I have a 55gal reservoir with 2 adjustable drip emitters in each pot. I would not consider my living soil as perfect for planting at this point but I was eager to get started. I planted my seeds before fully establishing my cover crops. I have added red wigglers and nematodes. I breakdown some of this process in the video.

This girl started showing her pistils 3 days ago. I amped up her feeding with some extra Budswell Guano. The growth has been exploding pre-flowering.

Day 80, 2nd of December 2020: Hi there! Ladies are cool everything is alright. In one week buds strated doubeling and the developement is dope haha. The 2 Zamnesia ladies are pretty Gelato is so nice bushy and the smell is great as well. Kalini Asia will be a green pheno I think and she my be hermied a bit on me.... I am still waiting to see I see some strange develepement lets say. Sweet Seeds girls are dope unfortunately Red Mandarine and Tropicanns poison don't show any sign of colouting yet but it is okay even if they green phenos.... It may happen in the end of the flowering cycle let's see. Basically that's all I wanted to share. Oh yes... this one: All good the lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Pfff, explicaros que estas green ak xL son una variedad bastante difícil de cultivar, los cambios ambientales le sientan fatal, y hay que tener cuidado con la alimentación ya que se Sobrefertiliza fácilmente así que ojo, eso por un lado. Por otro si eres un cultivador con varios años de experiencia y todo te sale bien, es probarla, porque el sabor de esta cepa compensa la dificultad de su cultivo. Thc hasta 18% , sativa predominante.
