It has been found that sound waves were at different frequencies, sound pressure levels (SPLs), exposure periods, and distances from the source of sound influence plant growth. Furthermore, the yield of lettuce, spinach, cotton, rice, and wheat were increased by 19.6, 22.7, 11.4, 5.7, and 17.0%, respectively. Sound waves may also strengthen plant immune systems. It has been proved that spider mite, aphids, gray mold, late blight and virus disease of tomatoes in the greenhouses decreased by 6.0, 8.0, 9.0, 11.0, and 8.0%, respectively, and the sheath blight of rice was reduced by 50%. 2/19 Week 8 Controlling the stretch somewhat by keeping strong blue light in the spectrum. Wont start flower under HPS again, will wait till stretch has finished. The FFt-7 seem to respond most to this, the FFt-5 not as much but still slowed down. Major day coming Saturday everyone back into one tent and that undergrowth is getting trimmed! Driving me nuts Wont need to worry so much over height at that point. Adding that small amount of PK has really spurred a lot of bud growth, looks like the guys knew what he was talking about. 2/21 Could not wait so... Lower End Defoliation Day! Day 78 - Today starts the 4th week of flower. Fed today with 2 tsp Bloom, 1 tsp Mag Pro, 1/2 tsp Foliage Pro. Fed close to 1 1/2 gallons to get sufficient runoff. After this week, I will follow the Dyna-Gro feed chart and drop the Foliage Pro from the feeding, and she will get only the Bloom and Mag Pro (ProTekt was on the feed chart, but I didn't get any when I first started her). She is moving along nicely it seems. Expect the next feed to come in on Monday. I'm testing with upping the power to 100% on the lights, and seeing what it does with the temps. I would feel fine with 84° or lower. Day 79 - Temps haven't changed from the upping of the light power. Should be on full blast until the last week, maybe 10 days, where I am thinking I'm going to slowly lower the power again, to mimic autumn. Probably not necessary, but feels like something I want to try. Day 80 - Temps are fine from the light increase, and there is no droopiness or anything negative from the defoliation. Will probably look to feed tomorrow, and keep moving the days/weeks along. Day 81 - Fed today with 2 tsp Bloom, 1 tsp Mag Pro, 1/2 tsp Foliage Pro. Day 82 - Nothing to note. Day 83 - Medium seems to still have some moisture, so I am going to hold off on feeding tomorrow, and instead will feed on Friday. I assume part of it is that I had to water later than I usually do last time. I normally water when the lights first come on, but I ended up watering in the middle of the 'day' last time. Day 84 - 4 week of flowering are now complete. The medium did end up drying a bit more than I expected, but with no real signs of hunger, I will still wait until tomorrow to feed. I am ordering a new fan for the pole of the tent (hate how this one angles when the pressure starts to pull the tent in. I believe I will still use this fan, just lower (under the canopy), and blowing up through the plant (been suggested a couple times to add a fan underneath).

Actual day 37 flowering today : After a screw up on weeks and missing 1 totally !!!. I am now on track correctly The Gorilla girls continue to be amazing and look beautiful close up. Buds are so sokid and heavy too. her smell is so candy/fruity and they are starting their second burst now. I am looking forward to sampling these ladies so much.

Lost one of skittles dew to high humidity she started to show nanners and had to be removed the second one is doing great

Day 29. Things still ticking along nicely. Saw a few leaves on my Sativa dom Pheno exhibiting Ma deficiency so gave an Epsom Salts foliar while Lights out was happening. Also upgraded my mechanism for holding flood pipes in place. Have the girls on Wooden Risers now to allow the bottom of the pots to fully dry and to allow the smart pots to do their thing. They're all starting to fill out a bit now so hopefully not long until flip!

I did a heavy defoliation last week,so majority of this week was about getting my plant back to a healthy phase. I did alot more LST as you can tell in the video to start more of an even canopy. I also raised my light by 4 inches to provide a little more stretch in each branch so I'd be able to manipulate it more with LST next week.

Day 64 - Starting week 10 and looking like this will be the last week for this girl. Gonna let her dry up and may do a partial harvest in the middle of the week and let some of the smaller buds build up before chopping the rest over the weekend. Not sure yet though. Day 65 Harvest Day - This girl turned 50/50, cloudy to amber overnight and most leaves are consumed with cal-mag deficiency so decided to do a chop and save what I can. Looks like it’s still gonna be a decent harvest. Chopped her down tonight and started trimming but will finish tomorrow and get a total wet weight. Even most of the tiny nugs at the bottom are pretty dense.

A week with lots of activity from my side, from the Gorilla's side, not so much. She stays behind and I can't find any other reason than genetics/seed quality. She is in exactly the same conditions as the other girls. I'm letting her do her thing. She will give some weed, well see how much. Maybe she is a late-bloomer. She does look lush and healthy so we do not understand but are learning. I put in the scrog net since her roommates need it and lowered the lights and started giving more flowering feed. The light is still awesome, the amount it puts out. We will never know if it was the age of the seeds or something else. What I do know is, it was the last time I use a third party seedbank, it is apparently too hard to keep fresh stock with too many strains. Until breeders put a production date o the packaging. Isn't it time someone said that? Cause lets keep it real, we are talking seeds that in any other case would have a cost of production of fractions of cents per seed. We pay what? 3 to 5 to maybe even 20 dollars a seed for an exceptional strain? Is it then too much too ask to put a friggin expiry date on the package? Or store them cooled? The breeder that does that and arranges a deal with third-parties that overstock can be sent back, packaging recycled, in exchange for fresh stock. Like any other fresh trade. For an industry making what, a billion worldwide, it is remarkable how many are still in the stoner with a garage / 80's trailer park, backwater funfair warranty, kinda customer service. Switched to 12/12 Defoiled them every 2 days...slightly, just to stop all shadings Mixed in some flowering nutes mid week Got an really even canopy...LST did a good job...light seems to be used very efficient now

Autos are just starting to flower the photos are dying for some bigger pots. I've been trying to bring up the overall plant health in general since moving everything to a basement the temps are a little lower than ideal. I had a space heater delivered today and monitored the temps but they only went up to around 78°f I want it to be atleast 82°f ideally 85. The heater uses 1500 watt and only increased it about 2 or 3°. I dont think it's worth the extra cost for such little boost. I'm thinking about returning the heater and throwing a 1000w hps in one of the other tents and see if that will raise it anymore. Especially with LED and co2 higher temps would be very beneficial in veg and early flower but the room is so big its gunna be tough to pull off without killing me on electric costs. Any suggestions are welcome. I know this room does decent in flower but I havnt done much veg work down here and I'll have some autos growing this round so it's important I get it up.
