Week 4 Notes & Observations: Plant 1 is doing great, not much to worry about with it's last topping or HST breakage. Plant 2 however is showing severe damage to what is supposed to be a mainlined support for half of the plant. I am considering taking it completely off as the growth is very slow on that side now and I will have to add mostly permanent supports to it should it fully recover. I'll make my decision by the end of the week when I plan to top again. VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 70- 75F daytime and 66-71F overnight. Im adjusting my lights and look to control them at ~400ppfd max. Meaning slight increase over last week but mostly just growth increase. Feed & Monitor: ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5.*** (last feed was day 34) Testing something new with this set of plants. I decided to 'starve' the plants while topping/training. No longer than 12 days, but a long time before next feed. The idea being that I want them to grow roots out to find water and then when I feed, I can do it in a deep large feed allowing/forcing more of what she needs into growth rather than recovery. Just a theory for now, but that's what I decided. If I see any signs of wilting or water stress I will cancel the test.

Buds bit squishy but covered with enough crystals had to harvest due to mould and to much died leaves had few smokes and it hits straight away nice smoth smoke with orange and almond taste. Damn im so hungry now! Happy growing people!

Harvesting my fist plant this week. I've read that stopping watering before harvest will increase resin production. You can see that most leafs on the bottom right plant turned yellow. Most of its trichomes are cloudy with a few amber ones here and there.

Swapped tents mars hydro 600w led And mars hydro tent now, so the black sugar are in the bigger tent now. Topped 3 of them, gona let the new start catch up. Seem to be growing at a decent rate, possible over water on the younger one but hopefully over comes.

Week 7 Flower We've finally started flush 💦 on Day 43. I still run EM1 at 1ml/ltr as it goes a long way once activated/stretched. It's always going to be a benefit to keep any microbes you can in the coco. You can also use Mammoth P throughout flush, but due to its price I just stick to EM1 in flush. There's plenty of other microbes that can be used too. I flush around twice the pots' volume at 6pH. But before flooding the pot I slowly pour water through the centre of the pot, around the stem, in order to take a true reading of the ppm and pH of the run off. If the ppm/ec reads a lot higher than your average feeding throughout bloom, then there's been issues such as a lockout, incorrect pH, over feeding etc. This wasn't the case, as this girls' was at the right level. If the pH is too high or low, I adjust the pH of the rest of the water that'll be flushed to try to fix it. Again, this wasn't the case with this girl as she had a perfect pH 👌👍 Just before all of the water has gone through the pot, I take one last reading from her last bit of run off. The ppm should be down to no more than 100ppm for the first flush (+starting ppm of water if using tap water). After the first flush the ppm value of the run off will quickly go all the way down to 0, or at least below 50ppm (+tap water ppm). I use tap water that is between 150-190ppm, but I'm looking to switch to RO as soon as I can. I still get a very good flush, but I think using RO water will be the next step in getting a more thorough flush as it won't contain even the small amount of nutrients and metals that tap water contains (along with any harmful chemicals). Always remember to bubble or let the water sit for 24-48hrs before feeding to your plants. That goes for all feedings in every stage of growth if using tap water. Because I keep fairly low temps in the Den she's starting to turn a beautiful dark purple. Her buds are still swelling and smelling like a nice gassy OG, with hints of citrus/tropical fruits.
