Lemon Cake week 18 7/28 - 8/4-10 I am late for my outside ladies diaries updates. Life has been getting the best of me lately. I’ve been packing my daughter’s room and moving her things to her new home. For those that have followed my since my beginning here, Cancer left me with neuropathy and arthritis in my hands. I can no longer do my glass fusing or flame work. To close this chapter of my life, I’ve been inventorying glass, tools, equipment, molds and supplies to sell. The most stressful has been appealing Medicare claims and receiving the second denials on the same claims. They are the last payer of record so good luck getting any reimbursement you are entitled to. My apologies to all of you for being so brief on your diaries and not providing many comments. Photos are from 7/28- 8/9 for both weeks. For my outside ladies, Opium, Auto Opium, Fractal, and Lemon Cake not much changed. They continue to live in sweltering conditions. Temps are in the upper 80-90s with humidity over 105. In addition to the heat, Hurricane Debby started up the coast but was downgraded to a tropical storm by the time it got to us. Expecting our normal thunderstorms, I waited til morning to bring the ladies inside. Overnight, we had wind gusts of 25mph. Yeah, then I brought all gals into the house. The photo gals are strong and with thick stalks were able to withstand the winds. I top dressed all ladies with Bloom Soil for organic fertilizer. As always it's just a pleasure to grow this sativa dominant strain which definitely reminds me of a great indica with her extremely fruity and tropical sweet terpenes, very happy to have her in my garden and to be able to smoke such a high quality strain once again, hope you guys have enjoyed as much as me!

Looks like growth has stopped and the work is going into the flowers. Some leaf tip burn but in not going to change anything, I could fuss and look at the TDS, but I've always got myself in a tis and mucked things up. I'd say this is looking to be an average yield. Not the smallest, not the largest!

This and the Z&Z will go together in the wide slab style container. First letting it grow a bit larger for a week or two before transplant. I had some awesome frost on these, so doing it again... Well 1 week from breaking the soil, I think they both look fine comparing to other diary's, roll on this time next week, should start to see some proper growth and also start the nutrient chart, will be using all biobizz Nutrients on there lite mix feeding chart.

So week two finished and I think she is looking well, this is my first ever grow so anyone sees anything I'm doing wrong do let me know as im here to learn, my next thing im pondering for this week is she ready to be tied down (LST)? She is standing around 5.5 Inches and has leaves and shoots coming off everywhere.. lets see what week 3 brings hopefully she carries on as she has been doing.

week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.
