Had no issues at all with this girl.. she's growing lovely. I have removed the bigger fan leaves so the lower flower heads can catch up. I wanted yo top her but at this stage I'm not chancing it.. She's actually at 3 and a half weeks. This week maybe early next week she's due to flip into flower. So only good things to come.

she is doing really well. the buds are getting thicker and the smell is also getting a bit more intense. unfortunately it rained a lot last week and the humidity was very high. i hope that no mould has formed in the budss. the next week will be really sunny and she should still enjoy it. and i think i will harvest her in a week's time.

Just to catch you up to speed since I’m starting the week before flower The big one I started from seed and then there’s a clone of her maybe the clone only be rooted for a week but the mothers 7 weeks since she popped up and she’s a been pretty easy she’s real Bendy but as usual I push it too far and have to get the tape out and she’s come back fine every time so far been pretty easy and probably one of the easiest ones I’ve ever claimed I mean this thing routed bike and my humidity was real low I didn’t have an even expecting it to route I was just I had to cut the branches so they weren’t in the dirt

Fun one to grow even in veg its exciting because the foliage is fuckin Jurassic like it's a beautiful thing. Had some high ph towards the end so I would say theres plenty of room for improvement but all around this was a decent grow and this strain is a classic

Got some plants from a friend. Cut clones and moved into tent with hot pepper plants

I wished that I could've done things a little different but the end result was fiiire! Taste like Peaches when you give it a nice 4 week cure. Wish that I could've yielded more. But experience will overcome all my flaws. But it will only get better.

📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her. First day under led lights after receiving the fresh cuttings. All of them are healthy but unfortunately is the night temperature at the moment a bit to low. All lights are dimmed; the sunlight leds on the lowest setting and the Cree cobs around 20%. Output watts for all leds is at the moment 280W. PAR readings coming up in the next days 💡 Now the PAR readings: 3x3 measurements at plant tip. Front row to the back. Measurements in mmol/m2s with the quantumsensor from apogee. 400,570,400,550,620,610,410,470,410. Around 500 in average.

Man, it's been a crazy week. These past few days have been brutal – seriously cold with this crazy humidity. I don't know about you, but I'm sick of the chills and the way my skin feels all sticky. It's been a struggle, but I'm finally getting on top of things. I think I've figured out a good routine to dry things out around here, so hopefully, I'll be feeling a lot more comfortable soon.

Both plants are into the final maturing stage now I think. #1 looking to be more dense, #2 longer and fluffier. Very temperamental with the nutes, shows signs of burn and deficiency, I think I'll leave with just water from here on out.

Pretty exciting week. Been doing last-minute prep to switch from Veg to flower, by moving lights around and adjusting them between blue and red to encourage growth in that last little stragglers. More significant though, we had a power outage in the middle of the day, mid week, that caused me to scramble to find light. This gave an added bonus because I the weather is getting better and I was able to expose my plants to some natural sunlight and air. You can see in the timelapse the combination of blue, red, and white light as I shift things around. NOTE: This week was also the start of the COVID-19 Self Quarantine, so the time at home gave me a lot more flexibility to tend to my babies. Plants have reached as high as 20 inches or more, but topped off the tallest ones because they were overpowering the smaller guys and also starting to droop. Plus I broke one trying to weave through the net. Next Week: Switch to Flower Stage!
