Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. She's over 5 feet tall now and is stretching! 420FASTBUDS ORT2108 WEEK 8 I've enjoyed seeing these grow as the weekly updates are very noticeable. I decided to do some LST training and it seems to have made an improvement. I also backed off the nutes with only leaving the calmag and ph the water before watering. All in all Happy Growing.

Welcome back to another week, finally decided to flip to flower as these girls do grow pretty quickly in DWC. Aiming for some nice quality buds bit also a decent yield of at least 1 gram per watt of light. Nutrient solution has not been changing to complete flower schedule yet but I will be sure to switch it over in a few days. The crucial part now is keeping the EC and pH in a good range to avoid any deficiencies or Nutrient lock out. Let's see what the stretch brings the first few weeks. Stay tuned, and I'll be back for the by the end of the week to report some video feedback. End of the week has ending with a heavy defoliation session. Plants were getting bushy and covering potential tops so that needed to be addressed. For now, it will be selective defoliation once they have recovered, which should be in 2/3 days. Started flush now. I'm adding Nature Delight Active Sugar Boost as it's been recommended to boost terpene production. No idea if it will work this late into flower but trying anyway as apparently it has no need to be flushed and is fully organic.

05.09. Dimmed one light to the half, they begin to smell lightly. 10.09. Moved the Spiderfarmer Dehumidifer into the room, lowering the humidity from 80% down to 52%.

01/04/2023 - 56 days since my baby girl sprouted from a seed The fourth week of flowering of my Mimosa Cake Auto 🎂🍰🥞 Nutrients: Jungle IndoBox - I serve the same as last week Advanced Nutrientiens - Bud Candy - Carbohydrates for my plants 🍭🍭 Bud Stimulators 🌼🌼🌼: Jungle indaBox Environ x Advanced Nutrientiens - Big Bud remains unchanged I don't do Bud Ignitor anymore ATAMI - ATA CALMAG - When growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and ATAMI is an excellent brand Plants tolerate nutrients well, sometimes a small spot appears on the leaves, but this is not a nutrient burn Training: Trick - only a mild training, I tied a few twigs to the edge of the flower pot with a string so that they don't shade each other 🌞🌞 🌞🌞 Defoliation: I mainly remove the large leaves so they don't damage the flowers and I also cut off the lower leaves. The plant will thus have more power to put energy into the buds 🍃🌸🌸 General: The plant has grown tall, the plant branches are growing symmetrically, they have many flowers, the stems are strong and healthy, the leaves correspond to the age and stage of the plant, only the tips of the leaves are brown. I am wondering what nutrient could be causing this. So I transfered my girls today 3 of them have 13g of RQS nutrition mixed into the soil medium and I used dynomyco in the potting hole when transferring them! I will run 3 organic and one synthetic with my usual mix of nutrients along the way (bud blood, big bud, overdrive and flawless finish) I topped the 4 side branches and left the 2 mains and will let them set into their final pot before I transition into bloom! I'm just awaiting for a couple things to arrive and I will then move them Into their final home and theyre going to love it I just know! It will be these 4 in a 90 x 90 x 180 under an FCE3000 I actually can't wait! I think this one will be my best one yet!

On day 11 of flowering. I spent a few days without being able to see them, and the people that take care for me gave them just water, so they are a little hungry. Gonna rise the feeding and do another micronutrients + potassium silicate + fungicide + aminoacids + neem oil foliar spray. I put and old scrog on top of the 2 big ones to open them more and give support.

Week 3 of Flowering is here Very excited to start the next week And see the buds Sites expand 👀 Day 15 Critical For weeks I have bin watering when come home and turn lights on . But because I had issues with humidity . I started giving them water in morning when go to work and shut the light off. And i think that worked well . They are looking good and growing nice there some higher buds so it not a even feeld but this my first grow ever . So i am already happy how it is going 🤘🏻🤘🏻 Day 16 Critical FRUIT FLIES !!!! i saw that dam bastards last night so ordered me some fly repellent sticky what ever you call those from Amazon hope they catch them all . Plants are doing fine in my 👀 . I am not giving them water now but in the morning when the lights go out and i go to work . That's all folks Day 17 Critical Did nothing to them only gave them the required nutrients in the morning. Day 18 Cookies Gelato Left them alone today having some personal issues off my own . That makes difficult to work on the plants hopefully tomorrow will be better Day 19 Critical I measured plants today and there about 90 to 95 cm from soil to top. Slitlly getting worried again about hight they are. I hope the grow spurt is over and bud formation will be intensifying . I think if i didn't use any technieks that i would be sol right now . Hope for the best Day 20 Critical Did something stupid today i left the light on for 18 hours and was afraid i fryed them . But luckily nothing dramatic happened . Not hopefully i didn't do much stress on them . I gave all the plants 1L of water pH 6.5 . And start letting them dry out some .
