Happy holidays to you guys! 420! That's it, my first grov of photoperiod flowering and on organic substrate without fertilizer has come to an end. Today 4/20/2023 is the last day of light, it'll be in the dark for a while, and April 23 will be harvested. 14 full weeks from seed, 8 weeks of flowering. Looking at the trichomes, I'm worried I'm a little overdoing it on blooming, lots of amber heads on top, the middle and lower ones are milky. One spill this week for 6L with a little drainage and the flower stopped consuming moisture, got a little cooler in the house. Waiting for the harvest :-)

Una vez transplantadas les hice un riego, 1100ml/planta con MicroVita 5gr. / 10L. para potenciar la vida de bacterias y microorganismos saludables para la planta. A final de semana me dió por hacerles una poda de hojas abanico. Algunas plantas miden más de 22 ctms y con la poda espero frenarlas en altura y que ganen en anchura.

The plants are doing really well ✌️ Last week it looked like the buds growth was slowing down, but this week the buds are growing in size by the day. The strain description says the plant should be ready in 9 weeks, but as things look now it could also be 10 weeks. I don't mind though as she already looks amazing and getting better every day! The plant in the back that didn't have the purple shades is now also turning purple-ish. The resin production on both plants is more than I ever seen in previous grows. The buds and sugarleafs are sparkling every time I open the growbox, and the smell is really intense. My carbon filter is having a hard time keeping the aroma inside the GTools these last few weeks 😅 Will the Fruity Donutz will be ready by the end of the week? Stay tuned for more pictures and updates 😊😉 A final update before the plants are harvested ✌️ It's officially week 10 now, but I plan to harvest the Fruity Donutz in a day or 2. The trichomes are mostly milky but no amber ones just yet. It would be a shame to harvest these beauties before they reach their max potential. They look absolutely stunning, and I can't wait to try them. I plan to chop them down and hang them without doing any trimming, just remove the biggest leafs. They take longer to dry, but it does improve the overall taste and quality in my experience.

Greenhouse growing is strange and exciting, well from what I have observed and experiencing, I see extremes, next week I will post readings from my thermometers, yes I have two, a coil, and a red mercury one, placed in a shaded area and the other in direct sunlight where the ladies are tanning. It’s getting hotter as the days go by, I need a humidity reader. It will help me better catalogue.

This is a nice hard diesel pheno, same smell that her sister has, I'm feel some citrussy gassy aromas, she's gonna start to produce a lot of trichomes in the upcoming weeks, stay tuned to see how this keeps developing her flowers!! Peace everybody!! 💚💛❤️✌️

First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. Everything is looking good so far. They’re all done stretching and the cheese and black garlic have stretched the most. I adjusted each plant with boxes to create a more even canopy. Buds are swelling up nicely. The two black berry breath plants are looking swollen and fantastic. I don’t like the structure and bud size of the black garlic plants and will not be running them again. Although, they’re getting quite keify and the breeder claims they have a genetic trait that make them put on most of their weight late in flower. So far I’m not too impressed by their size. The seedsman Badazz OG cheese has got good node spacing and structure but has very little trichs and smaller buds. I was just running the cheese to test old European genetics and my bias is starting to confirm my bias. Dutch and Euro genetics are shit. The slurricane #4 is looking fantastic in terms of frost but the buds are lacking a little in size. I’m going to do the 21 day strip today. I should have done most of this defoliation earlier in veg but right now is still fine. Ice cream cake #1 hermed which isn’t at all surprising so I scrapped her. At least it gives me more space to get in and tend to the rest of the plants. I got a pump sprayer to get in a bit closer to the plants as well.

Day 130 / Week 8 of flowering: @ this point can clearly identify 3 different phenotypes in this grow.. one of them; plant #1 and #3 seem to be both pretty similar also regarding their maturation, they are about a week behind the other two plants. Plants #2 and #4 are both looking like they will get ready next week or so.. i have already flushed those two ladies. Still there is a huge difference in plant and bud structure and when i touch them i can identify two completely different terpene profiles. Plant #2 was always the smallest of the pack, very bushy, somehow i didn't like her as much as the others.. but i had that feeling that that could change at any time..and so it came that she turned out to be my favorite. As soon as she was starting fo flower i could see her real potential, the buds she is carring are just how i like them to be and the smell she gives off is citric skunky. Plant #3 on the other hand has a sweet berry flavour combined with the stinch of a stinkbug. Day 132 / Week 8 of flowering: Today i flushed plants #1 and # 3 withe 20l water each. I removed two buds that had bud rot Day 134 / Week 8 of Flowering: Today i cut down plant #4 that was several days ahead of all the others, she's been flushed and has been drying out since, she was literally drying, not only the soil. The harvest looks pretty decent, i will update as soon as i have the dry weight and now.some more.about flavours and high of the plant. The remaining 3 plants received 2l of water each, just to hold on for a few more days..next plant to come down is plant #2, the other two can take about a week longer judging by the big amount of pistils that are still white (around 70%).

This girl is quite a bit smellier than her blue toof sister. A bit more resinous as well. She got a tea last night that had a few inputs (grokashi, be1, be2, molasses, fish sh!t, Em1). She isn't gonna be big, but she is gonna be beautiful

End of Week 15 (8th week of flower) Still cruising, everything has been running very smoothly and the smell is just undoubtedly off the charts. The ladies are showing off some colour and are fading naturally bringing out hues of orange and purple. I also noticed that the leaves and buds closest to the lights are showing significantly more colour that the ones that are further away. The colas are also getting heavy and there are some side colas that are hanging and needed to be reinforced to keep them upright. (This is a good thing obviously) I know I said I would start the flush (not giving any more nutrients/top-ups) but I decided to give them a small dose of Boom Bloom just to give the ladies that final boost. I boosted them in the middle of the week and the flush has begun after that. Only water from now until harvest. Pest Report: None Smell Report: HEAVEN

I cut another part of the girls, and the total is even greater than the first part! We wait another week for the final sums, but right now the flavor is unique.

Hey! At last the day of the harvest arrived. Before that, I stopped watering the plant 4 days ago, and turned off the lights 2 days ago. As for questionable techniques, I adhere to the principle - if it doesn’t get worse, why not try?😄 So, I put the harvested crop in a dark ventilated box, for about 10 days, I will observe. p.s. 5/1 Trainwreck is starting to absorb it's leaves nutrients. I pluck them as I go. I'm thinking of flushing Amnesia here soon too. Edit: decided to take a chunk of Amnesia without flushing to see if I can get a flavor difference between flushing and not flushing. I'll be keeping the first clipping in a separate grow tent with fan set to 70F with a max of 60% humidity, I don't think I'll be able to get it to 60F in this tent, but I'll experiment with it and a second humidifier. It's currently 74F and 36% humidity. I wonder if putting a humidifier in there will lower the temperature to the correct level. I'll try. 5/2 Watered both with PH'd tap water. The tent is starting to smell distinct; probably of dead chlorophyll as the plants start absorbing their leaves. The clipping of Amnesia in the other tent is starting to smell a bit like hay. After a couple of weeks of drying, I'll trim and move it into Grove bags to let the terpenes come through during curing. 5/7 Trainwreck's leaves are turning more and more yellow. Gonna check the trichomes on both here soon. Giving them another plain PH'd watering today.
