Week 2 of veg is in the books. Despite making some changes and dropping back to a 300w fixture, also upping the nute ratios - growth has been pretty decent for a single first week of veg. Got some yellowing on the leaves which is somewhat concerning. Again, hopefully rectified now that we’ve regulated to more acceptable temps and humidity. All are fairly uniform to start and the new bucket system has been issue free which is a bonus. Figure another week to the fim and then another week of veg before the flip. All on pace to get em to flower as quick as possible👌. We’ll cull as soon as able - if we pick up 3/4 spaces after losing the males that would greatly assist to free up some more space elsewhere and move in some new fems that have been backlogged recently. Finally back to focusing on quality buds and it’s and great feeling👍. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, crossed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower. These beans were the product of a shotgun breeding run that presented an unexpected opportunity so there’s quite a bit of testing that should flow from the various F1’s we’ve produced.

Okay so they have put some size on just hoping they get fatter haha did a full nute change to but all going good

i was on holiday for 14 days and left the plant to its own (AUTOPOT takes care of that) and when i came home i was amazed. it tolerated the topping very well and is now twice as tall as it was two weeks ago. i topped it again straight away. so 4 times in total this time. if it continues to grow like this, it will be a monster in october. a few leaves are already bigger than my hand. unfortunately i broke one stem with light LST, which is why i'm not using the LST after all. i hope it recovers from the injury. 😵💪

04/02/22: Had some mishaps - I visited the grow room and various branches had fallen over due to the weight of the buds - big problem with large sativa breeds. I managed to use large garden sticks, cable ties and plastic clamps to secure them. Other than this plants all looking fine fine fine - large colas throughout - some are even starting to show brown pistils. smell is strong.

48 hrs. of dark are up and its time to chop. pots have dried from the last flush. These did not stretch as much as I would have liked I will have to adjust my light better next time and there was a lot of lower development near the media, hence not enough air flow. when I flushed the pots the water level went up to the lower growth on the Think different and the bottom was wet and rotted the bottom half. I did a mild lollypop on them I'm early flower it just was not enough, LESSON LEARNED. Chopped on 2/8/20 whole plant drying low and slow 54% RH 68F for 10-14 days then will trim and jar. 981 grams wet with the lumber. lets see how they dry. I got a rosin press coming today I will squeeze all the trim and larffy buds into dabs yummy! All in all I recommend these genetics I will try the think different again I'm sure I just got a recessive dwarf gene. I have seen other grows of this same strain same breeder that are huge and stacked. thanks again to Fast Buds 420 and Green Buzz Nutrients for suppling the goods for the grow. Fungus gnats coming with the soil might take the chance to come out now for breeding. i'm waiting with a 9 mm rifle. in the past i found 6 gnats in 2 of 8 x 50 l biobizz lightmix bags coming out of the soil. i could eliminate every single gnat successfully ;) rotating harvest: the little ones will be harvested completely when ready. at this point only the top branches of the big ones will be cut...and the new (basic-watered) pots of the new grow will move into the tent. 2-3 weeks later the secod half of the big ones will be cut and the second half of the new grow will move in... nutes: biobizz / soil: biobizz lightmix bloom,grow,topmax,activera,algamic + aminopower instead of bio heaven (too expensive) individual feeding schedule/once a week: veg: 200 - 600 ppm bloom: 600 - 900 ppm water: ro-water with: veg: 100-150 ppm calmag bloom: 150 ppm calmag

Last full feeding. Everything going good. Dried a little branch for a few days n smoked it and its already 🔥. sum kinda way a plant fell thru the trellis or maybe never quite reached it is bent over almost to the floor so ill prolly have another little sample soon. Day 22 : Today was repotting day! I prepared my living soil demetheart system, I added terralba products and dynomyco mycorrhizae! I added molasses mixed with reverse osmosis water, elycitor and humic and fulvic acids! my tco is in preparation for 24 hours, I use the tco pack from terralba, to which I add many elements and bacteria Day 28 : Here is the end of week 4, everything is going very well!! I will carry out the topping + defoliation on day 29 and incorporate the TCO. Papaya #1 is so huge, but it has some deficiencies, everything should be resolved week 5
