I am late this week because on the girls' 8 week birthday, they both started looking HORRIBLE, and I was scrambling for a couple days. Looking back, documenting those moments is probably more helpful than just showing pictures of everything going smoothly. I think it might have been a Zinc deficiency, but it all boiled down to poor nutrient, pH, and watering practices. This is my first grow, so the more I learn the better! New leaves were forming brown tips, growth was stunted overall, and the veins on the leaves were becoming very prominent and white. After a day or so, the tips and edges of leaves started to curl up or "taco". So I flushed the plants for the first time. One recovered really well in 24 hours while the other improved a bit, but was still looking sad. I ended up flushing her a second time the next day. Soil for both plants is still pretty damp but should be flushed well, and once it completely dries out, I can amend my feeding practices and give them another ~week before flowering. I'm going to cut the nutrient amounts in 1/2, only feed nutrients with every other watering, and also give the plants more water to allow the proper amount of run-off. I guess this is very important in preventing a build up of nutrients in the soil. Hey, you live and you learn! Also started trying some super cropping because I want to try it all, haha.

Plant has grown dramatically this week lol, about 10 cm in length, in a weird formes tho, but no complains. Can't stop admiring the Sodium lamp. Also does not dissapoint it's smell, barely feeling it.

They were growing a little bit laggy because they didn't geht enough light. I planted them so deep in the ground that they're not laggy anymore. We've made it to day 28! - 17/12/20 The girls seem to be happy and healthy today. I won't be feeding/watering them as the pots are still heavy from yesterdays feed. A few of the girls have started to show sex & the smell has picked up a little bit(inside the tent), so I'm hoping to see some flowering begin this week sometime. (I've been using my iPhone as my only DSLR lens is useless for focusing on certain depths, but I hate the colour I get using the iPhone... I may be switching back to DSLR unless I can find a better camera app.) update - day 29 (18/12/20) Short update today. Fed the girls today and will probably be feeding/watering every day from here on out, we'll see though. veg growth has really taken off by now, I'm hoping to see some flowering this week. update - day 30 (19/12/20) I fed the girls today. I need to find a better way to hand water, the plants are so short and bushy its a pain getting in between all the branches. I wish i left my drip feed system up and running, I will definitely refine it and use it next run. Update - day 31 (20/12/20) Fed the girl's straight water today. I'm going to purchase the pieces I need tomorrow to reconfigure my drip feed system & hopefully have it running by mid-week! Update - day 32 I attempted to set up my drip feed system today but the plants are too thick around the base to place the halo around :( I will have to wait until next season to set it up, oh well, I guess its hand watering for the next 5-10 weeks Fingers crossed these girls start to flower ASAP. I fed the girls today, everything is looking good so far. I also moved the plants around to try to make hand watering easier, I had issues trying to water the whole pot instead of just one spot due to plants/branches being in the way. Update - Day 34 - 23/12/20 It definitely seems ill be watering the girls every day from here on out. All the girls look fairly happy and healthy, they're getting a bit big for the 5x5 they're in. Flower Week 3 Plants are doing great, are ready for Food, I installed a drip system, with air stones in the reservoir. Got some microscope images of the Bud sites, smell is beginning to get stronger. Very Cheesy Mid Week Update: Drip system is working well, the plants seem to have burst with growth over the last 3 days. Before when watering with the smart fabric pots, I was getting a lot of run off from the bags. The drip system makes a big difference as I had no water in the trays underneath after running a complete cycle on the drip system, which took 24 hours. Bud growth is awesome, the entire canopy is fairly even with few shaded bud sites. I wont be tucking much at this point I believe the stretch is over.

I decided to use LST on Californian snow and no touchies ( maybe a little ) on West Coast OG. Californian Snow is bigger. They both look healthy but i am a bit worried about leaf colours ( is visible on videos), thinking of nutrient overdose.

Even though I made some big (rookie) mistakes, she's really forgiving and with the right care I'm sure she can grow out to be a proper monster. No bugs, mold, mildew or anything that was a reason for panic. I started flushing too soon and completely stopped her growth, a wise lesson. Because she was harvested a little too soon there is more of a head high instead of a body stone and depending on my mood I like it that way. She's supposed to be a heavy hitter but because of the early harvest she's a good companion during the day and will actually allow you to have a normal, fun conversation. So in conclusion, i'm pretty happy with 127 grams of harvest for a first proper grow using a self made 200W LED growlight and DWC setup. More plants will be grown, thats for sure. Rains giving the plants a good boost. Everything looks to b good. Starting to increase the amount I feed and they all are responding nicely. The Skywalker is turning into an awesome little bush while the momma headband is just goin crazy. Took clones late but almost done and should get almost 2 weeks of veg b4 I flip em. Should have been done weeks ago.

Day 50 and the plant seems to be growing healthy even though it's not stretching much my understanding is that this type of strain it is slow-growing type and require more of vegetable time than others plants flower seems to be developing fine but because there is a large difference in height between this girls and the other girls of my tent I had to introduce a regular light bulbs in there to try to address this not sure how is going to turn out but definitely I need more light in there and with the shut down everywhere not many places to Source out new equipment so have to do new ways to make it happen. Day 52 the plant seems to be responding well to the light bulb as well I how to do a little bit of defoliation to try to promote more light in there it is a very bushy plant. Week 6 flowering for the ztrawberriez from fastbuds 420! At the moment the buds are getting bigger and getting more and more thc, i dont think that a lot of time is left so we gave some extra food this werk and we will stop soon feeding to start with the flush and give only water the last week. This week we gave amino, sugar shot, sticky fingers, bloom booster, enzymes, silica and some more master roots

Didnt take a ton of photos this week. But flipped the light schedule to trigger flowering. The canopy has filled out beautifully. If i was more patient I would have vegged for a week or two more.

Simple enought setup to check this strain, 60x60 tent, 75w cheap led panel, coco coir and scrog mess. For nutrients i will use GHE/TA for coco for first time. Ill be using 6L aeropot Also i will record a timelapse for this

5cm vertical growth this week. Flowers starting to plump up.
