The honeydew fallout from the spotted lanternflys in the maple tree above have gotten out of hand. It's almost a constant mist. The only thing I could think to do beside moving them like an ancient Egyptian was adding a protective canopy of some sort. I wanted to get the clear poly weave but this green one was half price so went with it instead. With the way I have it oriented, it doesn't really block out that much direct sun too. In the morning and afternoon the angle of the sun is able to shine right on the plants. It's kind of a win win because should decrease my chances of mold later down the road towards harvest time if it does decide to rain a bunch. I tried washing the plants once this week with some light soap and water with a little baking soda mixed in. I rinsed with cone setting with hose right after and the plants were praying next day but i didn't have canopy up yet so they got hit again. I spotted several pale green assassin bugs on my plants so now Im a little nervous about washing the plants again because I want to keep them around. They are nymphs right now I may try to collect the ones i see become cleaning the plants one last time. Hanging that canopy was one of the more frustrating things I've done in a while. I wasn't sure If or how it would work but I has some medium gauge synthetic rope I tied to the eyelets and eventual 4 tree limbs. I had to bounce back and forth to get it tension climbing my fruit trees and 8 foot ladder. I originally disassembled an unused tomato trellis i built to use some of the lumber to build a post to tie off on in one corner but it ended up being at the wrong angle relative to the tarp and I started to get worried if a storm ripped it out of the ground. So I opted to used only the surrounding trees. After getting it all tension I realized that it was to far to one side leaving two of the plants almost exposed, so I had to come back the next day and re adjust but now I have it in a pretty good spot. I survived a decent storm already this week. Just hope it lasts. Overall making outside feel slightly leas stressful and anticipating more of a good harvest rather than just an experiment with my first outdoor grown.

Continued LST and shaping this week… I ran into a minor mag deficiency this week but it showed most on my other plants. It should be rectified. This is one resilient auto. Very happy with this all the way through so far. It’s been drinking a lot of water and root tips are showing through the fabric pot pruning themselves. I tried feeding a little less cal mag (actually all nutes) compared to previous grows and my reduction in cal mag got me. With coco you really need it full strength I’ve found, at least with my water. …<200ppm tap dechlorinated. The lemon pie didn’t show signs of it but other ones did and I could see Lemon pie not far behind. I made a video compilation this week of my photos. Hope you enjoy ✌️🏼

It was another good week for our ladies. Tote a or the biggest ones are almost done. There is a few amber heads on the trichomes. They smell pretty strong and are taking a gallon of water a day now. We are decreasing the nutes this week for these girls. I had over fed them a week ago so the discoloring was my fault but they look better this week and the leaves quit curling and dying. Tent a is under the mars hydro light. The girls got so top heavy I had to put a net up. Tote b or the second tent is flowering a few weeks behind tent a. It’s under a viperspectre light. This tote is also getting co2. I just want to see if it will add weight or flavor to the girls. My second diary I did in dirt and this run is just clones of that run but in water. Gotta find out what works and what don’t. I haven’t flowered any under this light yet also , so this will be a chance to see what it can do. Tote b is 2 plants of white widow. The one on the left is tiny compared to the one on right but the buds on it are huge for the size. It’s so cute looking. Tent 3 is also white widow. They are under a spiderfarmer light. We will flower them also under this light. So far it’s still vegging but the node spacing is super tight. Light is at 80% power. We are going to start training it and give her a hair cut this week before we flip it. All in all a good week. I tried to make a video after watching kittens and colas video. The seeds that I thought I found were a false alarm, looked a lot like seeds built up and was super hard in texture but this week it popped and it was just some weird foxtailing I guess. Trichomes are about 20% clear 60-70% milky and very few ember. Very certain that I will chop her next week, this time for real. This grow is a rollercoaster of emotions, that is for sure. Flip the script to 12/12 waiting on a small tent via amazon to put my MILF in so I do not contaminate the other ladies, clones are hanging in there hope they will be ready to go into flower at 21 days. I just potted up to a 5 gallon fabric pot. They were drinking so much they were dry in 1 1/2 days. gave them a mild feeding and a good watering did not want to give to much trans nuites this week as I just lolly popped and potted up on the same day they look healthy enough to take it but I did not want to over whelm them with the food. so the plan moving forward it to start spraying MILF A in her own tent while the others flower in the big tent then the clones will move in to the tent and flower for 3 weeks all the while spraying MILF A 2 times a day with the CS the hope is by off setting the clones and the mothers by a week the MILF at 4 weeks while have Feminized Polled sacs that will be ready to sprinkle on the clones the other to mothers will flower to completion be chopped and dried and the clones will go until the seeds are mature with in an extra week or two. Grow itself is going well but weather really sucks heat index of 110+ with oppresive humidity.thunderstorms last night knocked over both outside plants, broke one branch on this girl. Tied her back up and rolling on. Should be fine!

Cantaloupe haze needed a good flush brought runoff from 2000 ppm to 1100ppm will continue to monitor.

Gave the ladies their first dose of nutrients. I made sure they were very diluted. they loved it. When I came to check on them, they were all praying. Yay.

8.2.20 day 2 Rise a&b to 3.5 ml/l and new water mix. Some leaf getting burn on the side and purple color below ,probbly its in the genetics. 10.2.20 day 4 What a grate smell and color just wow. 11.2.20 day 5 No comment .

Die buds werden immer dicker. Ich schätze so in 2 Wochen geht's Richtung ernte. Geruch wird deutlich stärker und die Lady ist sehr durstig - sie bekommt alle 2 Tage 4 Liter Nährlösung. Heute wurde sie das letzte Mal gedüngt und ab jetzt gibt es nur noch Wasser.

July 7, 2020 update... Houston... We have lift off!!! Flowering has officially begun with all four ladies. The actual heights of the 4 ladies is as follows 24" & 26" (indoors) and 21" & 24" (outdoors). The indoor plants are also much bushier and have more nodes. The outdoor plants are looking more like old school autos just focusing on a main central cola. I gave all of the ladies a LST bend and tied them down at a 45 degree angle. This is to allow better light penetration to the lower bud sites and usually results in several branches producing fat colas, not just the top. I am starting to see some bug damage on the outdoor girls. I have been trying to use companion planting of Basil, Chives, Spearmint, and Oregano as natural bug deterrents, but that's not working as well as I had hoped. I also sprayed them once with Safer End-All. Its OMRI listed and recommended by 'The Rev' of Skunk Magazine and True Living Organic fame. I'd prefer not to spray them again, especially as they get farther into flower. Any suggestions for keeping bugs away from my girls would be appreciated - hit me up in the comments. 👍

The 3 blue cheese plants are on the left side of the tent under 1 light and the 1 x sunset sherbet plant is on the right side under the other light Still using veg nutes for first 2-3 weeks of flower till stretch is done then start the boost and will add pk13/14 on start of week 5 I keep tucking them under the net for the first 2 weeks of flower then just let them do there thing and will add another net to support the buds
