Plants are really taking off! Smell in the tent is strong, widow is still stretching but the PT is not stretching so much as she is still seeming to try and bush-up so to speak. I have all three plants in the ScrOG net and it seems I will have a full tent. Buds are beginning to form and add some bulk to them as well. Took pictures with lights off this time to show how they’re growing.

This week I had to remove my red light (sad because red leds are the most efficient one in terms of pffd per wattage) the reason for that is bleaching of the tips. Scientists found out that cultivars start bleaching if u hit 600 umol/m2/s red light (just red photons and not every strain bleaches). Besides that I did nothing to them. From now on I will try to keep the temps low but with a pretty small day/night temp difference. Now preservation of terps and maturing are my points of interests. Some nice colours are getting through … that was supported by some nitrogen deficiency. This was Not on purpose but better than burning them with nutrients. (Nitrogen is required to produce chlorophyll, which is Green. If u reduce the nitrogen towards the end you can support other pigments to come through.) Fertilizers and water alteration still looks as a good solution. It seems to me now that applying LST was a mistake because there is really not enough space in the tent and Bruce Banner has not even started flowering.

Plants will be moved into tent next week and new ones gonna be set under the light without tent to maximize yield

🌱 Grow Diary Update 🌸 What’s up! It’s Week 5, Day 2 of flower, and the girls are looking super happy. 🌿 I had a little hiccup earlier in the week—PPMs started getting a bit high, so I had to hit them with some plain pH’d water to level things out. 💧 Now they’re back on track and coming out at a nice 900ppm. Smooth sailing again! 😌 The room’s starting to smell amazing, and these buds are getting crazy sticky!

I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

This week was an absolute nightmare. For five days straight, our residual-current circuit breaker (RCD) kept tripping multiple times a day until I finally discovered—regretfully—that the dehumidifier was the cause. As a result, the ladies will now have to go without a dehumidifier for an indefinite period, which is leading to very high humidity levels in the basement. today she got transplanted into bigger pot. Light hits with around 450 PPFD

7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. Will be monitoring very closely! 🙏🏾 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

Day 55 - going into the 9th week..... trimmed em, stabilized the flowering solution.... lookin nice..... buds startin allll over... haha 👍😎

Buds are starting to stack up, increased PH to 6.2 for a better Kalium Uptake, lowered the nitrogen to 100ppm since the plants seem to be slightly high on it.
