Hello growmies! Welcome to week 9... which is the final week for these utterly rapid F1 hybrids from Royal Queen Seeds. Day 60: Well well well, while doing a quick loupe check I realised these ladies were about ready! So they were harvested and are currently drying! Harvest update to follow after dry. It is sort of hard to see the amber trichs under the microscope because in the actual buds themselves is where they were most developed, but it was easy to see with the loupe, and you can see some here and there on the sugar leaves and many "on the turn" and yellowing. Anyway they are drying now... and I have REALLY BIG NEWS. Due to the ridiculously rapid nature of these brilliant Epsilon F1 hybrid cannabis plants, it has become technically possible for me to squeeze another grow series in before the summer break... ...so here is the very first official announcement of that: Coming very soon! UnorthadoxDude Grow Series 3: An Epsilon Adventure! With gratitude and warm feelings to James and the rest of the team at Royal Queen Seeds for making it possible and sponsoring a more in-depth look at the Epsilon F1. This grow series will feature TEN Epsilon F1 plants from Royal Queen Seeds. If you want to grow a plant that meets or exceeds the breeder's claims on speed, grow these! https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/uk/f1-hybrid-cannabis-seeds/620-epsilon-f1.html This will be a perfect opportunity to test some nutrients side by side and I may well do that, the exact configuration of planting and training (if any) I have not yet decided, however I will attempt to grow all ten, and they will have the entire grow space to themselves. Any thoughts, comments, and suggestions are welcomed. Any nutrient suppliers out there that want to get in on this grow please get in touch. I grow in coco and currently use BioBizz primarily.

WEEK 5 (DAY29-35) The Runtz are thriving so far. Both plants have developed eight evenly spaced shoots, and now Iโ€™m waiting for the flowering to begin. Additionally, I have trained both plants with hooks to create a beautiful canopy. Iโ€™m still excited and hope they continue to grow as well as they have so far.

This strain was super easy to grow. At first she didn't grow too big in veg. But once she flowered she really got big fast. Massive, heavy colas on this plant. By far the best harvest I've gotten off an auto and some of the dankest buds of grown personally. Amazing strain!

SONG OF THE WEEK : Isaiah Rashad - 4r Da Squaw ------- Day 32 - That week is a bit hard to manage as the weather is clearly against me, after the hard sun it is time for the heavy rain to shows up ๐Ÿ˜ง. But it's outdoor rules. But the ladies are doing good : -SSW#3 were topped + suppercroped thanks to Tazard & Lumberjack advices I think she's doing right ( many thanks guys ๐Ÿ˜). She's 20 cm tall now -SSW#1 Will not be topped , I'm just doing a light LST on her by bending each secondary stems with my fingers everyday and you can see a "good" result on the pictures. She's 34 cm tall -SSW#2 is late on the secondary stems but tall , I still don't know if I'm gonna train her. She's the tallest with 39cm

Noticed some yellow/lime green sugar leaves at the top of the two tallest buds on the Gorilla Cookies along with some dark and light spots. Could it be light or wind burn? Hope it's not something more! I raised the lights a few days ago after spotting some whitening and curling at the tips, could it be something coming on after that? That issue aside the weeks gone well, the buds are still packing and getting more and more crystals throughout. Humidity started creeping up at the end of the week, a spell of wet weather and feeds going up to 1 litre being the causes. The little dehumidifier I have does remove some moisture but I was seeing it well over 55% more often than I would have like as so had bought four 2 litre paint kettles and, having drilled holes in the bottom of two of them and housed them inside an unholed one each, filled the top to the brim with rock salt to hopefully drop me back towards 50%๐Ÿคž Think it's time to start flushing through the SB and may do the same with the GC, she's a tad further back but hoping for a strong finish

Finishing out week 5 of flower and continuing my daily treatment for PM. Using Athena Mildew Control, an organic reactive treatment spray that you can use on the entire plant up to harvest. Realizing PM is systemic and is like herpes...it never goes away! All you can do is spot treat on a daily basis, the outward symptom of PM, which is the white patches/spots. Treating primarily Mimosa, but also parts of the Bling as well. Napali Pink - As usual, is impervious to this type of PM and is thriving, with huge fat buds that still continue to get fatter and tighter by the day. They haven't even fully swollen up yet either. If the smoke is great, which I am sure it will be, this is a strain that I highly recommend growing. It has excellent branching structure with upward growth with very little help. Takes nutrients well and not too fussy or needy with any of variations of NPK or micros. I would say based on the looks of the buds and trichs, she will be a last to finish, but well worth the wait, as I have so. Many. Fat. Ass. Buds!! Mimosa - such an amazing daytime strain that I would loove to always keep on hand, as this strain is on of my All Time Favorites! However, with such prized buds and terp profile, she is vulnerable to PM. She has had it the worst, and always continue to spot treat it daily. She is gaining this cool hue of purple along the outer edges of the leaves, as well as what I thought was PM, but surprisingly turned out to be a shit ton of trichs! Buds are fattening up nicely and think she will be the 2nd to finish out of the bunch. If I could grow her again, I will, but will be sure and do a preventative treatment for PM during her entire life cycle. The Bling - she has been a trip growing, as she is very viney and lanky, but her branches firm up nice and strong. Practiced some Kushman Chiropractic on some of the stems with success. Had to spot spray, but not as bad as Mimosa's PM. Since I defoliated all leaves covering bud sites, along with huge fans, the buds have actually grown in height and girth! This one never ceases to amaze as she has come back from a bad HST. She is so heavy with trichs, it looks like it snowed on the buds. I am hoping to get a good yield but between the three ladies, she will come in last for that. Used bamboo stakes to secure all branches/bud heads; used zip tie and paracord to secure to bamboo. Now every single bud gets light! Also testing out a Diminishing Light Schedule and now down to 11 hrs of daylight this week. Will continue to reduce by 1/2 hr each week until I hit 9 hrs of daylight. I will hold at that. Otherwise, patiently waiting for harvest!

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! ๐Ÿ˜ there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary ๐Ÿƒ โœŒ๏ธ

strong auto flower. doing well in small pot tight space- feeding small and regular to compensate really. PEV as usual , great strains. they are throughout most of my diaries. we have another PEV auto flower in tent flowering (20/4 tent perma). i attached her too. the white on bud is an unfortuante calcium spill , i am gently fixing it with a brush and tap water. also attached is a weekly summary of all diaries. hope all is well. take care and have a nice week.

The time has come for for this beautiful girl Scout cookies auto from Original Sensible seeds. Her leaves had started to slightly yellow due to me missing a water or two. Also extra dry because I've been so caught up with โ€œreal life stuffโ€ that she has been sat on the side for about 3 days as I haven't had the time needed to harvesting her until now......,. The buds are lovely and fat ๐Ÿ˜ƒ whilst feeling a very good weight ๐Ÿ˜ (should be updated below) some time later........... Wow! Now she's trimmed for her bikini shot, the buds look beautiful and plump. Oooozing a fruity fragrance with every snip. Very happy with earlier in the grow, chopping off some developing bud sites I felt would not have the time to flourish. Something I've tested from a-b samples (although different strains) and currently lean towards limiting the amount of bud sites thats she has to actually grow. *I'm talking Autos* A Brilliant strain and genetics from a growing perspective. I'm finding a pattern to my taste in how strains grow. just got to wait and see on the final smoke. peace ย ย ย

7 Feb: Watered with a tiny bit of pH-Down, also 0.5ml Acti-Vera + 0.5ml Bio-Heaven. I plan to feed her 2L of this mixture (total of 1+1ml nutrients) for the remainder of this week. I will feed more if I have given all feed and the soil is still dry, otherwise no. I just now calculated that it would mean around 285ml of water per day for 7 days in a row, I think that is a bit too much. 8 Feb: I asked a grow question regarding if I should trim (defoliate) my flower. Thanks to everyone who took time to answer! In conclusion I will not defoliate my flower. 9 Feb: Watered 10 Feb: Today I started using nutrients and I deliberately decided to use the minimum amount possible. I will then see how my plant reacts and either continue with nutrients and slowly increase to "correct" dosages, or switch back to plain water for a little while longer. Also, if you look at the text above after "7 Feb", you see that I used nutrients there as well. However I used tiny, tiny dosages and I also shared the water with my other plant: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/133066-grow-journal-by-depplover49. The feed ran out in just 3-4 days and the plants seem to like it so that's why I had to refill my watering can today. 11 Feb (Day 29): Today was my best performance yet when it comes to mixing nutrients. I measured the pH-levels of the water, added one nutrient, checked the pH-levels again, then repeated until I was done. I also used two different meters since I believe they're both not really a 100% working. I am thinking about investing in a better one, these two were like $15 each and I heard that they can break after a while. Anyways, I checked the soil using both meters and the green one show 6.9 and the red one 6.9-7.0. I'm quite sure it's at 6.9 and my feeding mixture is about 6.5. I am hoping to be able to report a lowered pH-level in a few days (if that's how it works hehe). 12 Feb (Day 30): She is getting wider and bigger, her leaves are erect, she responds very well to nutrients and pH is 6.8-6.9. The green pH-meter is saying 6.8! 13 Feb: Damn she grew 7cm last night, a bit more than 2 inches.

Sensi seeds Jack Herer 10 weeks of veg completed 11th Feb 2020 Hopefully this will be the last week of vegetation and this girl starts to flower because I have ran out of room to train her . I managed to get her to cover the entire circumfrence of the pot and then some, using a combination of LST and HST . I also did the last topping about 10 days ago and won't be doing any more. The soil must still be very fertile as the plant itself looks really healthy and lush. Only water was given as I still haven't got around to extracting some worm castings from the worm farm. But it'll happen and when it does this girl will get half a kilos worth which I am sure she will appreciate. Also apart from the odd bite mark on a leaf the plant has remained pretty much insect free as far as pest insects are concerned. I put this down to the Companion Coriander plant that has been coexisting beside my Jack herer girl right from the start . Apparently most bugs dislike coriander and will purposely avoid it which is a win win for both plants. Thankyou for reading this weeks update and I will return next week hopefully with reports of Flowering beginning. ๐Ÿ‘

--------------- Start week 3 -------------- We started week 3 as we ended week 2, which is great. She continues strongly at the beginning of this week and seems almost unstoppable. She clearly enjoys her surroundings and looks very healthy. She has started preflowering and seems to be gearing up for another explosion in growth. She is very good at leaftucking and has already developed a good number of shoots. On to more! A new update at the end of this week. ----------------- Update Week 3: ----------------- End of another fantastic week for MBAP. This week was all about pre-flowering and you can see that she is preparing for an explosive bloom. She has benefited enormously from the LST that I applied and has a good number of shoots ready to explode during flowering. In addition to leaftucking, have also removed the lower shoots so that she can concentrate her energy on the upper shoots. I also did the biotabs in the ground in the middle of the week. We have opted for 3 biotabs in 20-25l soil. Have waited several weeks before putting the tabs in the ground because we work here with aitoflowers. And they prefer a light feeding regiment for the first few weeks. We are going to gradually lower the humidity and get ready for flowering and week 4! Until next update

Growth Overview: Vegetative Stage: Auto Critical Orange Punch developed into a thick and bushy plant with vigorous growth. It filled out its space well, creating a dense canopy of healthy, deep green leaves. Flowering Stage: The plant maintained its bushy structure, with buds developing steadily and gaining significant mass. By the time of harvest, the buds were thick and plentiful, displaying a beautiful orange hue typical of this strain. Harvest Details: Timing: Harvested at the peak of maturity, with the trichomes reaching the desired level of cloudiness and amber. Yield: The plant produced a substantial amount of dense, resinous buds, thanks to its bushy nature and strong branching.
