I just added weeks 5 and 6 into one week because I didn't really have time to post last week. There seems to be a problem with my plants that I can't quite figure out. The only commonality that I changed with both plants since the last grow is the microbe Inoculant that I bought from NPK. The Black Afghan that I harvested back in November didn't have these microbes added to the soil and it grew into a monster. I am beginning to wonder if these microbes are stealing food from my plant. Even though these microbes are sold as "flowering" microbes. I'm beginning to think they are starving my plants. Also, I am technically 7 weeks from the flip to 12/12. So I may just be at the end of the flower period for these plants. I checked the Tricomes and they are mostly cloudy with about 5-10% amber. Normally at this point I would be cutting out the nutrients and letting her consume her leaves. However, she has already started to so that and now I don't know what to do. I just don't know. So... lesson learned. Stick to the basic nutes and stop trying to make this job harder than it needs to be. KISS

Last week was just too rainy and stormy. It was in danger of being completely lost. I harvested it now to save what I could. I can't even imagine how big the harvest would have been if I had harvested the whole plant? Definitely over 1 kg. A really great landrace.

How’s growing everyone, just to let you know that nothing new happened, the babies are in a fantastic shape. One of them is nearly ready so i will begin to flush it a bit. Otherwise, all is great, no defficiencies so i'm very happy. I hope you are all well in this terrific moment. The second wave is coming and i just hope we can all get well and do our crops. Everything is harvested and dried and most of it had to be destroyed for seeds to be harvested. Nonetheless what is left is magnificent and so freaking Frosty and the smell emanates everywhere

The F.S is the densest plant I have ever grown leafs are bigger than hands. HASNT pre flowered yet. Site is slow so i stop typing

We are coming up on the last week of these girls based on time from flower and trich ripeness. I will not feed them again as there is more than enough in the soil for them to finish. I will dry them in the room then clean and reset it for a no till living soil in 10 gal pots. Also upgraded the saucers to heavy duty plastic ones. Something I can lift even full of liquid.

She's getting close now! She has bulked up and all her branches are starting to bend over. These aren't the biggest buds I have grown, but they are very dense and heavy. She should be a good yielder. I'm going out of town for the 4 day weekend and by the time I get back, I'm sure she will be ready.

Casey's Rollex OG sprouted on the second seed. The husk was caught on the leaf, and was wet. Which caused the burn from the light on the tip. Regardless she is started and doing okay. She is still very young. Nothing more to report yet. i killed the poor girl ... i had too many infrastructure issues in the form of leaks and nozzles falling off. we had a funeral, then i tore the house down and rebuilt it so we not have the same none girl related issues again. i also started another Hawaiian Thai kush seed from my rare collections of zilizopendwa -. the loved nuggets

Well guys it's week 8.. I think lol. I'm 100% certain (Not really) that I took clones from 2 different mothers again... like a real cotton-headed ninny muggins. I'm at a loss when it comes to harvesting early what seems to be done, waiting, and how to do it all with flushing. So any help in that practical aspect would be dope. I'm really excited to be rolling out of this one, to be honest. with all the mothers big and clone ready I can finally just ease back into something more beginner level, shorter, whatever you wanna call it haha. The plants all look healthy though. I don't think I really made any big nutrient mistakes. I used LST to get those big colas away from the light and they seem to be fattening nicely making me wonder if I should just leave everything for 2 or 3 more weeks. I decided to throw a PK booster in there. I read online that most in hydro will use it throughout the flower cycle if needed and I was getting weary about the other plants not fattening up. I just keep hearing these things should yield crazy and I'm not seeing it. Then again it has been a bumpy ride. The nutrient change was done on the 14th and the photos are from today. Stay safe yall

Fast drying method with dehumidifier at 21C° for 3 days and dry trimming, even the sugar leaves are smokable and full with amber crystals, no harshness at all. District odours.

Took some photos for the Christmast contest! I changed my nickname, I've started on GrowDiaries just to post one question, but it hooked me. Now I need a better brand: Big Beautiful Weed. Just perfect. It's Bud Porn time! New phone, as you can notice, with better camera and allows to use the microscope. So much better! I took a million pictures. Startedtoday, flush at day 60. Probably I should have start to flush the Gelato a bit earlier, is already showing some amber. [UPDATE: No! And is been a mistake realized in week 10, I started flushing too early, still two weeks to go at best from this week 9] Maybe less then a week before I chop her. It will be couchlock, if I have to guess, and is what I was looking for. Overall, and besides the photoperiodic Gelato I had to kill, I'm veeery happy of how is turning out. The colour from Outer Space, that's it. OG Kush Auto in my germination space denands more light, and her diary!

==== UPDATE 31-10-18 ==== Weight after 4 weeks: 137 grams from one plant! I am so happy :). 123 grams of grade A bud, 14 grams of great quality larf. My last grow had about 130 grams from 4 plants. Only two thirds of it was good bud. Autoflowers, never again! This plant never got bigger than the 70*70 tent it grew up in, so I used 0.5m² . 315w CMH started during week 3 of flower. Thanks again to Zambeza for a monster yielding plant. ======================== It's been quite a ride. The plant was harvested at the end of week 11. This plant survived spider mites, maybe thanks to the predatory mites, and environment actions. A slow start in the first few weeks but it turned out quite beautiful. I will update with weights later... if you are interested, leave a comment and I will notify Thank you very much for following my diary, and for all the kind support and advice. The "flavor report" is based off some trim hash, which was truly an A smoke. I can't recommend Critical XXL enough! Thanks to Zambeza for this great experience. Current Highlights: Topping & Tiny Pistils Topping Done Right: Both ladies got their first topping this week! Cut the main stem carefully with disinfected scissors above Node 5. Let’s see how they recover from that, but I guess they’re big enough to take that blow like champs. Durban’s Pistil Surprise: Spotted early pistils (white hairs) on the Durban – wait, already?! Stay calm: Durban Poison is photoperiod, so this isn’t full flowering. Likely causes: Light stress? Double-check nighttime darkness during “indoor curfew” – even small light leaks can confuse photoperiods. Longer days in late April/May will keep her in veg. No need to panic! What do you guys think?
