WEEK 9 (DAY 64-70) This week, my plants have significantly increased in volume. The buds are abundant, firm, and smell very sweet. Thanks to mainlining, they've become small and compact, now consisting almost entirely of flowers. For the past few weeks, I've switched to 24-hour lighting to avoid climate fluctuations and speed up the flowering process. So far, this has proven very effective. The plants are growing at a high speed, and I think I'll be harvesting in two weeks at the latest. I've set my lights to 700 PPFD. While this gives me a rather high DLI (Daily Light Integral), the plants don't seem to mind so far. Due to the high temperatures and strong growth, I have to water at least every 24 hours. I'm currently alternating nutrients with Biobizz and Plagron Green Sensation. Last week, I defoliated the plants again to ensure good air circulation around the buds and to direct all energy towards flower production. Thanks to the high transpiration rates, I'm managing to keep the room's humidity just under 60%. It's not optimal, but I think it will work out. High GD community, Week 12, Runtz doing very good. It has 2 ladybugs in pre-pop stage hunting around in this plant.🐞 I think everything is under control bcs they move around a lot and no ants🐜 are protecting their cattle. 2 signs that are positive. This week the weather was way down in comp with weeks before. Temps get max to 28 degrees celcius with both doors of the greenhouse closed. Night temps drop to 14 this week. Only 2 waterings this week, 5 liter with molasses and acacia honey 1 time. I did a second round of hst with some supercropping. 1 day and everything was allready growing towards the sky again. Some lst on the main stem with small weights making it bend just enough to go sideways. 💪 Canopy is more or less even, so im glad it worked out just fine. Thats it for this week boys and girls, Thanks for reading and passing by and 💚💚💚👏👏👏👍👍👍 for Marshydro leds. Quality/price top! Grow safe buds and feel free to check out my other ladies doing fine thanks! 🙏🌿🌿🌿🙏 Weedseedsexpress!!!! 👏👏👏 LarfxWSE for discount at weedseedsexpress!!! 15% off!!! 2020-07-05 New week. Reduced nutrients because of the slight burn on plant 2... and plant 1 drinks so quickly that it rapidly raises PPM so I have to actually find the right sweet spot. It's drinking about a gallon a day? Plant 2 is still a week behind and slightly stunted but the flowers are coming out. They are more compact than Plant 01. This is supposed to be the same species but I'm getting 2 very different phenotypes on the exact same nutrients.. not very strong genetics? Not sure. 2020-07-05 2020-07-05 2020-07-08 Forgot to take pics this week! Here you go! Plant 01 has grown so insanely strongly and is producing so many nice looking bud sites, i am blown away!! I have had to 'supercrop' the top by bending the stem very carefully and adding a wire knuckle so that it wouldn't immediately just stand back up overnight. I tried this with 2 experimental colas and they perked back up and stayed laying down. They will slightly obstruct the lower flowers but the tops all looked so promising, I couldn't bring myself to cut them. I will seriously have to cut down on veg time next grow! I can easily stop at week 5 in the future with these seeds and grow up nice buds. 2020-07-11 Updated with yesterday's photos. Changed nutrients today, stuck with 1600 EC for plant 01 and went back down to 1400 for plant 02.

RH is a struggle, it is a hot and wet summer, the dehumidifier is on from time to time but it adds even more heat. The ORP probe is not calibrated and values are to be taken with a grain of salt. Values are average of the day. Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. The Mountaintop Mint has made great strides but is still a lanky bitch. I had to HST every branch, and may need to bend a couple more down before vegetative growth abates. Not a fan of this growth pattern and still unhappy about 2 out of 9 seeds providing a viable outcome. The bright side is that yield should be fine given the plethora of bud sites. Despite being difficult to grow next to other plants, I feel much better about its prospective outcome than I did just 1 week ago. That whole "crazy shit can happen in flower" thing rings true, again. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.

Amazing progress it terns of growth. Gorilla glue has shown to be very impressive so far it grows so fast, i check many times a day and the growth is very noticeable, it sure loves a good feed i advise to actually feed more nutrients than you usually woukd as it really is a hungry plant

1st week of flushing has made some of the the plants have purple appear on the stalk, leaves, and even the tips of some parts of the flower. Been looking more into good drying and curing technology to ensure a fine finished product. 1 more week of flushing then harvest.

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

Overall was a pretty straight forward grow, had no issues through flowering until the last few weeks when she began to foxtail. This was either due to high temps or genetics, personally I think it was due to high temps and poor climate control on my end. Although she foxtailed the buds still feel rock solid and smell of dank candy with a hint of fuel. The bud to leaf ratio was high and there was very little to trim, I’m hoping for a minimum of 7 days to dry, il try push 10 days, but my environment for drying is not the best at the moment. Hope this diary has been helpful 🌱

Another week closer.... I know I said it before but these girls have been a pleasure to grow...they are 23 days into budding and pushing out like crazy blowing up and stacking up..going to be some full girls. Nothing to really say everything is dialed in perfect, this week it was very hot out so my room got a little hotter... but no big deal the girls really didn't mind... Until next week.... smoke a fatty, help out your fellow grower...
