📆 Harvest Week, 19-25 August 2024 19-22 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 23-24 Aug - Flushed with RO water, turned lights down to 40% power. 25 Aug - Harvested the plant, began the curing process. 💚 Thank you Divine Seeds for this sponsored grow! 📑 The final week of flowering for Pablo Escobar! I gave her a good 71 days as recommended by the breeder. She grew using every one of them until the end. Another genetic hit by all means. A pleasure to grow. This is a sativa dominate variety so expect a longer flower time. You will be rewarded with thick dense buds, covered with resins and trichomes, with a sweet herb, earthy smell, nice and danky. Began the curing process in a climate controlled closet with a RH of 53% and temp of 71deg F. The main leaves are removed before the branches are hung upside down for 7-10 days for drying. From there the buds are removed from the branches, separated, and are trimmed to remove as much leaf as possible. Then placed in quart mason jars with a 62% Boveda TerpShield packet, burped daily for about a week or until 62% RH is maintained. Then labeled and placed in a cool, dark closet for long term storage for up to about 8 months or so. 🔥 Smoke Report: It took Pablo 10 days to slowly dry out. I cut all the buds off the branches and used my 19” Bud Trimmer for a quick finished product! I’m really impressed just how fast this trimmer works. It can take about 1/2oz or 14g at a time and with 4 or 5 turns of the handle it’s finished. Nice beautiful manicured buds in about 10 seconds. No more trim jail for me. As for the smoke. The taste definitely is the same as the smell. Lemony or citrus. The high is definitely that of a sativa. Comes on slow, then creeps up on you hard. Stays with you for a couple of hours, needing only a hit or two to recharge the high afterwards. No doubt this strain is very high in THC, and should be taken into account for the beginner. Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. Well this week I had to give the girls a fairly big trim they were beautifully bushy but they were struggling for space so I cut back the heavy shade leaves that were covering bud sites I am also adding bloom to there feed from now but they are doing really well and the smell in the tent is devine. 💚🙏🌱🙏💚🙏🌱🙏💚

Cant take my eyes off my plant. This is my second round of growing and I am the type of person who learns through failure (not gonna upload the pics of the first round plants lol). The buds are thickening up very nicely. Hoping to get between 3-4oz , the strain is high yielding but I have a smaller tent. My auto yielded 2oz with the same space (2 plants in one tent splitting the space), but the buds definitely didn't develop as well as these buds.

D71/F24 - 11.29 - just a very beautiful happy purply lady <3 Recovered from defoliation well. D76/F29 - 12.4 - Chuggin along in her glorious purpliness. Unfortunately she gotta battle a littler for light given the size of her TCC sativa heavier neighbors. Maybe move her to the 3x3 soon so she gets all she needs. Such a delightful splash of color in blanket of yellows and greens <3

First time I shoot a germination timelapse. That was about 36 hours in 2 min, if you are interested. She took a while to trigger though. Let's see how she grows.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G

This is going to be my very first grow. very excited :D As soil I'm using Biobizz light mix mixed with 20% Cocos Brickx from Plagron. No nutrients in this stage just water. Light schedule 18/6 Day 5 - 4 out of 5 seeds have sprouted. still have a little bit of hope for the last one. let's wait a little bit more. Day 6 - Seed # 5 I assume is dead. it was still completely intact decided to try a revive on it by putting it in paper towels (wet) but that didn't do it. the worst thing is that I had my time lapse camera on this seed 😭. The other lady's doing well growing at the same pace. let's do 1 more night before we hop on to the next week of this story. Happy days friends 😀

Overall the plants look ok and the buds grow nicely👌 I slightly open the window every evenings to help reducing the humidity but last night I forgot to close it and woke-up very late in the morning because I was sick. The temperature dropped to 14°C during a few hours and the plants received some light during around 3 hours from the window's crack (see picture). I hope this will not mess with the flowering... If you had the same kind of experience I would be glad to hear how it turned out for you!
