This week has been great! Germination on all 4 Pre 98 Bubbas and 2 Dirty Blondes was a success!! We planted them in there pots an through out the week we gave em each a very light spray down of pure water phd at 6.5 and by Friday they all popped out the soil Let’s go!!!!! Next week we will start light feed on nutrients , so y’all keep them eyes peeled for next updates an I appreciate y’all for following my grow !!😶‍🌫️💨💨💨🙏🏻💚💯🤙🏻

Hi fellow growers, for this first week of flowering, everything went smoothly. She took the defoliation from last week well and kept growing strong. She took 8cm during this first week of 12/12, nothing crazy but I hope she is gonna take more this coming week, so that she has pretty long main branches by the end of stretching. I'm glad the smaller branches that occupy the middle grew well and full up this empty space. I'm tucking daily the fan leaves from the main branches to allow a maximum light to reach the branches from the middle. Last week I was wondering if I had gone too strong on the defoliation and then I read about this schwazzing technique, when one defoliates even more, basically removing most of the leaves, this on the day of switching to 12/12 and then doing this same heavy defoliation 20 days later. So be prepared, in two weeks I'm gonna apply the recommended second heavy defoliation and we'll see how that goes together. 😁 Humidity is around 70% at the moment, it's on the high side but I'm not too worried about it. For the nutrients, I'm still religiously following the biobizz schedule and so far, so good. I started this week to log everyday some basic data about the plant, like height, temperatures and humidity. I guess it would be nice to have a little graph at the end to see the evolution of the plant or whatever one wants to do with the data. I think it's good practice too. -- Stereoscopic pictures -- You might have wonder what the hell are those two pictures where seemingly the same picture is put two times. They actually are stereoscopic pictures or 3d pictures. It's using the same principle as 3d for movies or virtual reality and it tricks your brain into seeing in 3d. Basically each picture is the view from each of our eyes. I made those pictures so it allows to see them in 3d without glasses. Follow along with this little tutorial (The picture "stereoscopy 2" is easier. I find it as well easier on a computer as smartphones have a smaller screen): - Having the pictures in front of you around 30-40cm (15-20cm on smartphones) from your eyes, start crossing your eyes slowly. - Both pictures are gonna move toward the middle. The idea is to make both pictures superpose each other in in the middle. - Start to focus on the superposition in the middle and if necessary, adjust the distance between your eyes and the screen. - Once it's in focus, you will instantly notice it and see my weed in crystal clear 3d! Here we are guys in the third week of the journal, last week I had some concern about the ph which was spiking at 7+ overnight but the problem solved it self when the roots started to shoot in to the water. my other concern was the temp inside the grow box which i solved buying a second hand portable ac (40€! such a bargain) now as you can see the girl is thriving and the roots too!! as you can see in the picture i put a white bed sheet around the black container so the water won't get hot, it works AMAZINGLY now the water goes in the hotter day at max 21.2 and than goes back to 20. Day 20 hey guys a small update, yesterday i topped the girl, i have only one concern, the plant is so damn bushy and the lower side shoots are almost covering the shoots on the the side of the topping. looking close i thought that maybe I had to top one set of leaves lower because under the fan leaves she is really really bushing everything is exploding but the plant still quite short, 7cm (2.7 inches) is that ok? apart from this i can't complain, the dwc system is working amazingly and the pland is healthy. please feel free to give suggestion comments or critics love you all I think the plant looks a bit bit pale so as I am writing this i added a 0.5 ml of flora micro to the res to add nitrogen, we will see how she reacts in the next days. In the end : 20 g of dried weight but had a really nice high even when I harvested it 2 weeks ago. First grow and one of the best bud I grew in last few months. Learned a lot from this, also started with another plant of the same strain a month ago indoor.

End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

Not much to say this week, buds starting to dense up more now. Triple G back right yellowing need to keep eye on her weather she’s coming to end or some kind of deficiency, roughly a week or 2 before there down 🍁

I think its going to slowly turn every inch of its green part into yellow one.. the fan leafs already turned yellow, but I will not remove them.. i wanna see how it turns! Do you think I can hit week 13-14? Or even 15?

[Week 5 - Rapid Growth] In just one week, the Fat Banana plant experiences its biggest growth spurt so far within the minigrow box. The leaves become lusher, and the stems grow stronger as the plant reaches for the light.
