Week 19/2 - 25/02

Girls have settled into summer camp nicely. Worries about not taking the transplant diminish more each day and I am gaining more confidence in strong roots with each passing day as well. I had to build a supplemental lighting system for the greenhouse. Here at home we are experiencing a wetter than usual summer so far and with that brings clouds. So I needed to do something. So I built a new greenhouse light. It cranks out some light. Currently at canopy I’m measuring around 600 PPFD. Plants are loving it. All three plants sexed and all are females. Didn’t think otherwise. So the formula 707 is performing better than expected. Water retention is crazy. Watered the plants on Sunday with a gallon each , today is Thursday and no water needed. Going to try and get to Sunday for a whole week between watering. *** update, added a short video from 7am this morning. The girls really do like the homemade light.

Welcome to week 3! The last few plants that weren't topped should be ready fairly soon. Only 2 of the plants have bugs as far as I could tell but all of them will be treated just in case. Insecticide applications will be recorded as ~X. I will apply it as a spray on the foliage and over the top of the soil, the issue is relatively small now so I don't see the need to fully water with it - 07/09/23 7:58pm. The leaves are getting noticeably bigger after topping and supplementing! Haven't seen any more bugs either so far - 07/10/23 7:01pm. I saw a bug or two in some of the pots so I used a little bit more mammoth - 07/11/23 9:20pm. Some of the leaves on the bottom were yellowing and some spots are appearing on some of the more developed leaves as well. I clipped the lower leaves that were yellow, I believe it's most likely calcium deficiency. I added some Pesticide to the water for tonight as the bugs won't go away and I was only doing some spraying on the top soil until now. On the positive side they seem to be overcoming the stress of the topping extremely well and the double stems are growing strong - 07/15/23 8:00pm. ~W - Water ~SW - Supplemented Water ~X - Pesticide

the weather conditions are getting better and she loves it. Not many Bugs on the Plant. Salt Stones protect the Pot from Snails.

Germinated very quick. A Few endup with a long tail sproughting by the time I had been to work! so planted them asap. Straight into 15l pots but possibly slightly too deep. Misted the top with a spray bottle until it appeared damp each morning. The video is from 9 days after first germinating or I would have just had pics is pots of soil!

Day 23 of flower, 50ish remaining. Alright, another smooth week 😁 Got some sugar forming on the leaves that looks pretty and is getting me excited 😁 I started using the Co2 this week as well as the terpinator. Might invest in an oscillating fan to help distribute the co2 better. Got some colas forming (I counted very roughly 75ish main colas). The leaves also really have that distinctive sativa appearance. The trash basket to hang the co2 is a great idea if your thinking of one in the future. Not much of a smell really yet. I DO have one question this week tho. Should I do a little defoliation on some of the lower fan leaves as its getting quite bushy in there again but I dunno if I should mess around with the buds forming now. So it has been a bit more than a week since update but the ladies seem to be thru the stretch and budding well now. I think in the next update I'll do pics of the defoliation at week three(upcoming Sunday) I added some drip rings to even out watering between different strains. The Orange blossom gets two water lines pumping it while KK gets one and is still a bit damp. The adjustable drip tips just weren't keeping their settings and Blossom gets thirsty fast right now. They are just part of the floraflex kit for rockwool cubes, but with Coco I find water absorbs/disperses just fine.(I usually use 1/2'' black holes drippers but stepped on 3 of em..) Ladies are pretty healthy but lacked some N after the stretch here and yellowed some bottom leaves. I gave them a bit of Grow food in this reservoir. Just at 1 part. Micro at 2 parts, and Bloom 3. I really under feed and adjust up if they look hungry usually. I stopped using the Piranha and Tarantula powders after week two so those are on the shelf until the next rotation. But since I see buds I started, I added in the Liquid Kool bloom at .5 ml/l, again thats like 1/8th strength but its plenty. Too much of the boosters and stuff burns quick. I did a decent job keeping them trained back from the vert bulb this time so haven't crisped up any leaves yet which is great. The plants are about at 24 inches tall after the stretch to keep them under the big double ended. Thats actual height for the Krishna, but the blossom is bent into a bunch of z's to keep it low. These are actually some big plants stuffed in there, so hoping they make some good sized buds. Got some pics of the bud starts for each plant. No frost yet but it'll start by next week I think. Maybe a week until I pull off any buds that are not the size of a grape yet, and leave the good starts to get extra juice. I'm over trimming under buds since my last overgrown scrog.

D43 - 10.30 - I heckin love everything about this plants. Prase be to MassMedicalStrains 🙌 Please go back and look at week 5's photo. It's shocking to me how well this recovered. D47 - 11.2 - <3 Not too much to report. She's drinking more and growing a lot. D49 - 11.4 - Loved the foliar spray I gave at lights out yesterday.

Tag 58: Heute habe ich noch einmal entlaubt, da sie noch immer Blätter und neue Blütenstände produzieren. Die Black Orchid ist etwas gedrungener und "buschiger" gewachsen, während die Jungle Lava für meinen Growstyle perfekte Internodien und insgesamt ein sehr gutes Wuchsverhalten zeigt. Die Wurzeln sind super gesund und gleichmäßig, die Länge und Größe der Blätter passt und das macht das Entlauben sehr angenehm. Im Moment kommt insgesamt eindeutig der OG Kush Geruch sehr dominant durch, aber die Black Orchid hat auch noch eine gute Prise Zitrone an Board. Morgen mach ich mal die ersten Bilder der Trichome und reiche sie dann nach, Licht ist leider gerade aus gegangen. Tag 59: Die Bilder sind da und ich mag sie. I'm excited n sorta disappointed this is gone be my first harvest but I wish my buds was fatter i hope they pack on some weight I may be impatient over excited but we gone see

I tried her now several times. She get's better every week during cure but after roughly 1,5 months, she still tastes only slightly like a cookies strain.

Its day 25 since sproud and the plants are looking good so far. The jslow stress training with the clips works as expected and the branches are getting thicker and more robust. Defoliation on day 34. I collected leave mold from the surrounding woods. a lot of white fungy hopefully usefull mycoriza.

Semaine 5 de cro parfaite. J’ai effectué deux defoliation legere cette semaine. Je viens de les passer en floraison.

First Week of flowering Week without too much hassle. A small excess of fertilizer but nothing serious. Uniform color. High water consumption (10L every 2 days), you can feel that they are in good shape. Semaine sans trop d'encombre. Un petit excès de fertilisant mais rien de grave. Couleur uniforme. Grosse consommation en eau (10L tous les 2 jours), on sent qu'elles sont en forme. Una semana sin demasiados problemas. Un poco de exceso de fertilizante pero nada serio. Color uniforme. El alto consumo de agua (10L cada 2 días), se puede sentir que están en buena forma.
