It’s just the first week of flower, and they’re all praying, stretching, and absolutely thriving—filling up every inch of the tent. This grow space is officially packed from wall to wall, with each plant competing for its share of light and showing off some of the biggest, healthiest leaves I’ve seen yet! 🌱 A few strategic plucks here and there have kept airflow smooth and light penetration balanced. Those big leaves? They’re a sign of happy, healthy growth. Large leaves help the plant capture maximum light energy, essential during this stage, especially as they start focusing on developing those flowers. When plants grow huge, vibrant leaves like these, it means they’re well-nourished and content in their environment—a true testament to the well-balanced conditions we’ve got going in the tent! Flowering Parameters 🌡️ Room Environment: • Temperature: 26.7°C • Humidity: 63.3% • CO2: 960 ppm • VPD: 1.29 kPa (prime zone for flowering health!) Lighting: • Light Intensity: 835 PPFD (ideal for boosting flower growth) • Solution: pH 5.96, TDS 460 ppm, temp 21.1°C • Medium: Moisture: 100%, TDS: 520 ppm, Temp: 21.6°C Carbon Filter Installation & Smell Management 🌬️🌱 With the transition to flower, the scent profile is already starting to kick in—crazy for the first week, right? 🌸 To keep everything fresh and under wraps, I’ve set up a carbon filter system. Here’s how it’s working: I’ve connected the filter to my Aerofan, which pulls air directly from the tent. This air is cleaned by the filter and released into the main room, where it then passes through another filter before exiting my space. This dual-filter setup means no scent escapes into the wild, keeping things stealthy and the grow room a peaceful, scent-contained environment. Perfect for anyone concerned about keeping their home free from that telltale aroma! 🕶️🌬️ Enhanced Lighting with Emerson Effect 🌞 This week, I’ve introduced an extra 15 minutes of red light at the beginning and end of each light cycle. Why? Well, this red boost taps into the Emerson effect, enhancing photosynthesis efficiency, especially during the flowering stage. By stimulating a little extra wake-up and wind-down light, we’re mimicking the natural sunrise and sunset experience for these plants, which can help reduce flowering time. Not only does it encourage smoother transitions into day and night, but in theory, it’ll help these ladies finish a bit faster, while giving them a little nudge to build more substantial, quality flowers. 🌇 Nutrient Adjustments 🌱 Now that we’re in flower, I’ve swapped out the Start Booster for P-Boost and TopBooster to specifically support flowering needs. Here’s why: • P-Boost brings in additional phosphorus, vital for energy transfer and cell division as the plant channels more resources into budding sites. • TopBooster supports the flowering phase by improving flower quality and density, helping to build those big, aromatic buds we’re after. Early flowering has started!

The stretch has stopped with precision, and Skywalker Haze has now set a course for floral compaction and terpene production. A sight and a tremendous mint smell when I went to remove a sprout that had appeared, what a lovely smell. Broad, healthy leaves At 25 days old, seven days after the apical pruning, I noticed that the leaves were already hindering the growth of the lower branches, so I opted for defoliation. I removed all the large leaves from the main stem, about six leaves per plant. I always take advantage of watering day to do any pruning. Plants, like humans, cope better with stress on a full stomach. Since the plants had already reached a good size, I was able to position them as they would remain until the last day. I'm not one to move them around much; I like them to maintain their position and grow naturally towards the light. Later on, I'll do LST (Low Stress Training). To avoid excessive stress on a cannabis plant when pruning, the general rule is to remove between 20% and 30% of the total foliage (leaves and branches) in a single session. Pruning more than 50% usually causes significant stress that can stunt growth or delay flowering. Later, the next day, I decided to put the benders on once I saw it was possible and get it over with. Un espectáculo y un tremendo olor a menta cuando fui para quitar un brote que habia salido , que olorcito más rico. Hojas anchas y bien saludables A los 25 , pasados 7 dias de la poda de apicales observé que las hojas estaban ya dificultando el crecimiento de las ramas inferiores y obté por la defoliación. Quité todas las hojas grandes del tallo principal, unas 6 hojas por planta. Aprovecho siempre el dia que me toca regar para hacer cualquier poda. Las plantas al igual que los humanos pasamos mejor el estrés con la barriga bien llena. Como que las plantas ya habian alcanzado un buen tamaño pude ponerlas en la posición tal como pasarán hasta el último dia. No soy persona de moverlas mucho, me gusta que mantengan la posición y que ellas mismas crezcan orientándose a la luz. Más adelante un LST . Para evitar el estrés excesivo en una planta de cannabis al podar, la regla general es retirar entre un 20% y un 30% de la masa foliar total (hojas y ramas) en una sola sesión. Superar el 50% de poda suele causar un estrés significativo que puede detener el crecimiento o retrasar la floración. Más adelante fue al dia siguiente. Una vez vi posible ponerle los dobladores obté por hacerlo y quitármelo ya de encima.

Ich musste den Filter tauschen und etwas gegen den Geruch unternehmen. Die Sorte duftet ordentlich stark. Eine Mischung aus süße und sehr erdigen/ Kieferartigen Gerüchen. Dies ist mein 3. Durchlauf mit dieser Sorte Do Sweet Dos, sie ist manchmal etwas zickig aber bringt gut was an Harz und Geschmack mit.

This grape is a big frosty beast. I think she has the potential to put off an easy pound if she bulks up the way I think she will. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

Was highly impressed how this little one went, smells amazing really strong fruity and fibrey as heck!! Cant wait to flush her an smoke!

good flowering, everything is stable, a lot of inflorescences appeared this week, next week it is planned to remove the lower leaves. We had to tilt two branches from the middle, as they stretched out very much and there was a risk of burn, we are waiting for 7 weeks!

10/24/2022: plants are all healthy. Strawberry Gushers is definitely starting to flower and the Newberry is showing signs of preflower. My little guy Orange Bubblegum is still growing slowly and no signs of flower yet. The Orange Bubblegum still looks healthy, she just grows really slow. Not showing signs of any deficiencies, or over or under watering, so I think it may just be the plant. Since the other two plants are starting to flower, I top dressed with 1/3 cup Gnarly barley, 1/3 cup Craft Blend from BuildASoil, along with about 2 cups(didn't really measure, just scooped a few handfulls) of BuildAFlower. Also added a handful of bokashi on top of that. I then lightly watered the two top dressed plants, since they both received a full watering yesterday. Still doing some light LST and minor defoliation. 10/26/2022: made avtea today using TeaCo Super tea blend. Gave about 1.75 liters to the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry, since they are both starting their stretch. Gave about 1 liter to the Orange Bubblegum, since it is still the smallest. It seems to be about a week behind the other 2 plants even though they were all germinated and planted on the same days. Also raised the lite slightly, since the bigger plants were getting a little more ppfd than I wanted, but i also inceased the intensity of the light to about 80%. Been increasing by a few percent a day and plan to max it at 100% once the final plant starts to flower. The average ppfd is about 600, which is a DLI of about 40. 10/28/2022: watered about 1.5 liters per plant. This time I added Rootwise Bio-Phos, now that 2 out of the 3 plants are in flower. Also, top dressed the Orange Bubblegum. I snapped a branch on the Newberry when trying to super crop a few of the taller branches. Also noticed the Newberry was looking a little droopy today. Not sure if it was a water issue or if I turned up the light too much. I'll monitor to see how it looks later, now that I watered and raised the light a few more inches. Wanted to have a scrog net in by now, but I'm waiting for some 4 way PVC connectors so I can finish building a frame. Always just tied to the tent poles previous grows, but I wanted to try something new. 10/30/2022: watered 2 liters for the Strawberry Gushers and Newberry and 1.5 liters for the Orange Bubblegum. Added BuildASoil Coconut Powder, along with the Rootwise Bio-Phos and ThermX-70. Installed the scrog net as well. It's a little high right now, but I'm hoping the plants will grow into it. I can cut the PVC pipes shorter if I need to. Avg. VPD:1.1 PPFD: 600 DLI: 40

Update of the garden

Richtig fett 🤩 Diese Woche noch Vollgas, ab nächster Woche wird der EC runter gefahren um Verbrennungen zu verhindern und die Natürliche Farbgebung zu stärken. Die Pflanze sieht sehr vital aus und die Blütenbildung und vorallem der Geruch sind umwerfend. Jetzt werde ich noch ein letztes mal Blätter entfernen um der Fettung und Reifung der Blüten das beste Milieu zu bieten. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist etwas niedrig aber das ist schon ok, die Pflanze verträgt das scheinbar sehr gut. Demnach habe ich keine Angst, das hier Schimmel entsteht. Frohes growen :)
