Heeey all! Sorry for the huge amount of photos but this week was crazy. So many things happened and my lack of knowledge clearly showed up. I ended stressing one of my plants for no reason! 😱 At the start of the week everything was normal until I noticed that one of Roko's buds looked weird. It seemed to be too dry and orange for my tastes and I didn't know what it was. Obviously I started to ask around and I got so many mixed messages haha. Some people said it was nothing and I should not worry about it and others said they were 100% sure it was botrytis or budrot... aaaaaaaand I got paranoid lol. 😵😨 At first I tried to keep calm and ignore it for one day but the next one the bud looked even worse and that's when I feared the worst. What if it's really budrot? In general the values I write in here are approximates or an average of the week.. and usually my tent never goes over 60% of RH (in the dark it stays between 50% to 60% when I water them and on some rare occasions it reaches 65%). This time, after I checked the thermometer it said "75% of RH" but I did not know if it was during their sleep time or maybe some time after the lights went on) so once again I feared the worst! What if the plants stayed all the night with that amount of RH? Was that enough time for them to develop budrot? What if it's still nothing? Yikes. 😭 I had to do something and I did, I wasn't going to risk everything! I started removing the worst looking leaf to see if there was anything mushy or ugly between it and the pistils but I didn't see anything (maybe I was safe and that was something else? Or maybe the budrot was even deeper and I could not see it?) After reading I realized that the best idea was to cut the bud in half and then slice it to "see" if there was anything inside... so I did it and absolutely nothing showed up 😖! Those were good news! Sadly tho the poor plant had to go thru some stress after cutting that bud in half (at least from what I saw the insides were tightly packed and the photos showed some really cool stuff) The rest of the week was uneventful (compared to what I feared haha) and some leaves started to change even more in color (I love it). I think I'll start with the flush next week or the one after that one. There are some amber trichomes...! Thanks all for checking my diary! Hopefully you'll all find the pictures interesting! PD: None of the plants have seeds in them, even when one of the sliced buds seemed to be making them!

Do you see that SWAMPMONSTER in the corner of the tent there ?? The Queen towers above the canopy and the rest of the plants lol. It's really interesting from using the Smart Proteins, i think how they work is that the plant is able to process them and compensate any kind of slight deficiency which means that each plant that gets the proteins is able to grow to it's maximum potential and at the same time grow to its **individual** potential... that's why each of these plants has so much "character", because if you look closely it's less a question of phenotype but more like "individual expression".... INTERESTING !!! Anyway that's about the visual... my main concern about these is how loud they f-ing smell !!! ITS PROBLEMATIC, so be conscious of that if you plant to grow these one day ! REALLY REALLY LOUD, honestly there should be an additional category on GD like "problematic" which is beyond the "strong smell" category. I have two large carbon filters on two 1330m3/h fans and it's a problem. Hope you understand how unusual that is for a plant in veg lol... I think the smart protein probably affects how strong the plants smell because all the plants seem more smelly than expected... TBH i'll fix the smell issue but hopefully it's a good sign and an indicator of the quality i can expect by harvest time? These also got two rounds of defoliation , and i flipped them to flower like 4 days ago. This was an exciting veg to me, but now is when it gets interesting, let's see how beautiful these flowers are !! Test genetics always have that little bit of mystery to them right? Todo se ve muy bien por aquí hasta ahora, ya empezamos engorde. Esperemos cómo van respondiendo la siguiente semana que aumente las dosis. Muy feliz con los resultados obtenidos hasta ahora. Si que vale la pena dedicarles tiempo y ser paciente con el proceso. Seguramente la próxima semana iniciaré otros diarios con una cacería con unas regulares, una automática y otra feminizada junto a un esquejé de esta white widow que pude hacer.

I thought the ladies would have another 2-3 weeks left in veg, but started to notice pistils forming within the last couple of days. So flower will most likely start to begin within the next week, I’m guessing I may see a couple oz per plant come harvest day. Not bad for first time grow & using autos, from what I’ve heard a lot of people do not recommend learning with autos due to how quickly their state can change depending on what you do with them. There are some things I wish now I would have done a bit different within the last couple of weeks, I can’t help but wonder how much bigger they’d be if I did not do any defoliation at all. But I have been combating flies bad and made the call to defoliate mainly for that reason. Started to cut back on veg foods and introduce flower foods and sugars to their diet. Humidity levels still at a steady decrease, aiming to have humidity down in the 30s come flower time. Will be going on vacation for a week soon, so fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong. Will be having a good friend of mine come by every couple of days to FaceTime me and make sure everything is handled as well as possible when the time comes.

The buds are really starting to get fat. The pictures do not do it justice.They are also now very smelly in a nice way! As mentioned last week the buds have the most amazing structure. Very happy with these. No issues this week and still only had 3 feeds.

Hey guys welcome to week 6 and day 33 🙌🏼 The girls are getting really big now and i‘m tucking the new groth every day. It‘s pretty dificult to get good light penetration through to the lower branches but I will try to wait until day 21 of flower to cut anything off. I don’t want to stress them. For now I tug the big fan leaves down and keep the humidity as low as i can. They do transpire alot. Well, thats it for the start :) nothing else to report..

Another solid week of growth!! The two big plants nearly doubled their height and both had a lot of undergrowth this week! I plan on trying my hand at LST tomorrow. I added more soil into the pots yesterday. I still feel it is too low but I don't want to shock the plants too badly. I watered after lifting the plants up some and adding the soil. I plan on feeding them tomorrow night. The first white pistils have sprouted and there is a distinct aroma of marijuana in the air!! I hope they hold off another week before really start to flower. It's amazing how fast a month can go by! I may not keep the little plant past this week. We'll see if she makes it that far... Here's to another week of healthy growing!! Peace!

Wasn’t planning on updating this diary until after the cure, but why not. She was harvested on August 10, and placed into an empty grow tent at 60F & 55% RH. By August 17, the outer buds were dry enough, so I had used a wood moisture meter to measure the moisture content of the inner buds and they were ready to jar. I didn’t measure wet weight as I hung the entire plant whole and didn’t want to account for the weight of stems & fan leaves on the plant, but dry weight was 90.45 grams For my first grow, I don’t know if I did everything right… I will know by the end of cure, but so far I am more than content with the way she turned out. I have another Bourbon Berry Twenty20 outdoor grow I might post on here soon which is currently curing, & Chocolate Haze by RQS which is in week 2 of flower.

Flowering day 74 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Se me dañó el deshumidificador y el porcentaje está en 80%, pero aún están en vegetación entonces no estoy preocupado. Crecen super fuertes, sin deficiencias aparentes o daños. Las Kritical Red ya están empezando a dar signos de floración, vamos a dejarlas que den sus primeros pasos solas y en unos días le empezamos a dar de comer y estimular nuevamente. Esta semana les he ido haciendo defoliación fuerte y ha dado resultados. Los brotes inferiores han subido bastante y se les ve mejor estructura. Esperemos den buenas flores. Buenos Humos para todos los cultivadores ! ¡cerotes, gueyes, culiados, pizados, boludos, jodidos, maes, patas, parces!

Week 8 day 56. Trichomes are turning milky, most still clear. I should of defoliated before but this being my 1st auto flower and me being a newbie I didn't want to take the chance. Lessons learnt for next time. Day 61. Approaching 9 week mark. Buds are getting frosty. Not sure if I should give more nutrient or just continue topping up with water. No sign of amber. Pistils on top buds are changing to brown.
