Super frosty smells amazing fattening up fast

This is the whole flowering cyclus posted in one week.

Rainbow melon what can I say? This plant is absolutely one of my favorite so far out of the fast buds genetics. I’ve grown a couple other genetics before and I have to say fast buds definitely checks all the boxes almost makes it too easy. The plant literally grows itself like it has a mind of its own handling low stress training absolutely amazing. Seems like it wants to have a perfect canopy. Very little TLC and the plant absolutely is thriving. 🌿🔥

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Hi everyone, last week was hell... there were a lot of deficiencies going on the plants luckily the nutrients I was waiting for were finally delivered, and after feeding the girls with them just one time I can tell they work just as well as the groundswell soil I'm using from Mother Earth, now my concern for this week is if I should do the next watering with nutrients or pH'd water with calmag or just pH'd water? Also I noticed that I have 2 followers now!! I hope I get more than one female plant so it's not a disappointment... once again thanks for your support and knowledge! Update week 6 2.0 Well everything went to shit... I think I overstressed most of the plants or maybe I'm suffering of an unbelievable bad luck because after finding one male and one female and following you guys advice I started to check the other plants only to find out that all of them have similar traits to the male one (the one from my grow question), so up to now I'm standing with just one female a bunch of potential males and two little plants that were to little (because I had them in smaller pots al this time) to actually show any preflowers... so now I changed them into bigger pots and hopefully they'll come out as females!! Wish me luck 🙏

October 22, 2021 Dinafem Quick Critical is looking great. Amazing growth this week!!! CBD Medi Kush is growing slowly and is a little twisted, it might not mean anything at this stage we'll see how she performs in the upcoming week. Critical Sour finally popped around 9 days after planting the original seed, I had planted a second seed when there was no seedling after 7 days. that new seed popped in 6 days and looked much healthier than the first seedling. I pulled the first Critical Sour seedling and will be growing out the second seedling only. Dr Bruce Banner has not popped either of the two seeds, its now 14 days since the first seed was planted and 14 days since the second seed was planted. I'm going to leave the pot in the tent for a few more days to see if a seedling appears, but if nothing happens soon I'll pull the pot out of the tent and just grow out the other three. Just this one girl is ready. Not too hard of a grow. Some powdery mildew towards the end but not too bad. The amount of trichomes is amazing. It was to the point I thought it was PM on some of the fan leaves. The smell was great. A definite grape smell and some fruity fuel as well. They can take a bit of a beating. I had a huge ph issue for weeks and they kept going along. I can't imagine if it was a flawless grow. These buds seem very dense. It was deceivingly heavy when i chopped her down. Will update with weight and the rest of the harvest. If you haven't you should grow this!

Week 6 Summary: First off, Happy New Year!! Ciao 2018, may 2019 be filled with peace, love, joy and dank buds 😄😉 Day 36-39: Started off nice well this week, considering the amount of defoliation I did on day 35. Some more stretching going on here but not too much, except 4AM3 has a central shoot I couldn't find a spot to LST that just started to shoot right up lol. Starting to show some nice frost on Day 36 too. 4AM2 is already starting to plump up a bit, don't think will get much more stretch on that one, seems like it will probably harvest the least. I might have overdone the defoliation on it on Day 35 lol. 4AM2 is the one I decided to top for the hell of it anyway because it had a really wierd growth mutation. Still, with less main tops to produce it might be the best bud of them all 😅 Day 37-42: Day 37 is when I started seeing a deficiency I thought might have been magnesium on 4AM1. Pictures to show up top. Since their next feeding wasn't scheduled until day 42 I waited. Day 38 and it had spread a little on the same plant, and typical calmag deficiencies started slowly showing up on a few other plants(really tiny amounts). I posted on reddit and pretty much confirmed my suspiscion of a calmag deficiency. Since I am watering twice a week, once with calmag ph'd to 6.8-6,9 and once with blume nutes ph'd at 6.3-6,5. The calmag feeding was done on day 42( as scheduled at full strength this time so hopefully the problem will go away. 4AM2 hasn't been watered yet, pot didn't feel completely light yet(plus she had the most runoff last feed), will get her dose tomorrow. P.S. Really starting to smell like sweet berries! Mmm.. 😍 On to week 7!
