As you can see, I don't do heavy defoliation on my plants as I think it's not natural to shock them like that. I don't give a flying f@ck about yield. My philosophy is turned towards good flavors before all and I like to follow plants development in more natural way when comes to defoliation. I believe that plant will always adapt and focus on where energy comes from, and in indoor grows we all know that bottoms will get bleachy as we enter late flowering. On the other side, nobody wants mids and small buds, so yes, of course I remove bottoms, but only first few nodes and not in a way of lollipopping or something like that. I'm just trying to be in balance with natural process of plant development at all times. I'm not saying defoliation is wrong, but since I never grow the same cultivar twice, it's way safer to observe their natural behaviour, instead of forcing techniquies other growers are claiming to be "the best". With that being said, my plants are exploding from happiness, as you can see. I got two of more indica leaning phenotypes and two taller - more sativa alike specimens. But all have a distinctive OG structure and smell is getting super intense. It smells diesel and chem like no run before. It's the reason why I'm growing it in the first place. And what better way to try out the true OG than from the original creators of White Fire OG. Yes. If you didn't know Terence and Philip, in collab with Rascal, the real OG's, also known as Payaso and Cannabis Gardener, are behind the legendary OG cross and all the rest are just white labeling this famous cross. Know your genetics, brothers and sisters. There are too many copycats out there, so try to show respect to the origins. Noone can make a patent on a certain cultivar, but we as consumers, need to know who are we going to support in the future. Breeding is art and I like to pay respect to those who actually do the work of breeding. Just look at the Blue Dream for instance. Do we actually know who stands behind this cross and who has the original tissue of this genetics? Ask Google a little bit, dig in, and you'll be shocked. Show respect to those who truly deserve one. Day 14-21 (May 14th - May 21st) (Day 14) Transplant went well. I’ll wait a few days for recovery then start to harden them off. They’ve been acclimated to the sun pretty well so far from the window but the cold night temps will be stressful. (Day 16) It’s going to be nice out tonight so I’m going to leave the girls outside. (Day 19) I’ve been leaving the plants out all day for the last 3 days and they’re looking great. Better than my tomatoes anyway. Stems look like they’re thickening up too. I’m going to start the autoflowers for this season. I’m soaking them in shot glasses this time. I’m sick of direct sowing and losing plants. I find the soak + paper towel method is by far the most efficient and quick too. I don’t think I’ve ever had a seed not germinate using that method. Direct sowing seems to kill about 1 in 8 of my seedlings. So I’m going to wait until the tap root is about an inch long and will bury them flat, a half inch deep directly into my raised beds/containers. I will keep them moist by hand once or twice a day until they’re looking established. (Day 20) Just had a big rain storm and I let them take it on the chin until it got worse. All seem fine and better for it. (Day 21) All auto flower seeds are just barely poking out. Tomorrow or the next day I’m going to sow all of the grapefruits and g33’s directly into the raised bed. I’m worried that the soil mix in the beds is too strong for such a young plant and I don’t want to risk killing all of them at once. Even promix alone can be hot for seedlings. Pests and cold weather are another two things to worry about outside too. The beds were amended with quarter strength feedings of 4-4-4 Gaia Green all purpose, 3-2-4 insect frass, 1-0-3 kelp meal, 3-0-3 alfalfa meal, glacial rock dust, rock dust blend and oyster shell flour. I mix the amendments into the compost and then mix the compost with the promix directly in the raised bed by hand. I’m just going to dig out a hole in the bed and fill it with pure promix so it doesn’t get any early nute burn. The dr seedsman and exodus cheese are being directly sowed into 3 gallon fabric pots with a pure promix divot in the middle. A friend of mine just gifted me some Thugpug genetics ‘Meatbreath’ bagseed from an amazing cut. This is definitely worth growing this summer so I’m gonna pop them and get them into solo cups ASAP.

Hi everyone ! Everything is OK, buds are frostier each day. They look more dense and tastier than my first try, i really want to taste them to compare the dfference between this grow and the previous one. Today i bought a new tent, ballast and lamp, so i'll start the next grow tomorrow 😋 i don't need to wait for plant to be dry before start a new grow now o/ Thanks for your support and see you next week !

Chonga is doing nicely at 7", Cheecha still a little behind. The soil has been staying moist for awhile, even with light watering and I was worried about root rot. So, I let them go about a week without watering. After a light watering with the remaining 1 ml/2Qt nutrient/water solution (about 1 cup each plant), I took the plunge and decided to try Topping (or FIMing), which I did a few days after watering. I'm also concerned about soil PH. I've been testing it with the 3-in-1 tester, but it always reads about 7. I tried the thing out in pure vinegar, but it gave the same results. So, soil PH is anybody's guess. I eventually bought a digital PH tester for liquids. BIG CHANGE: On Day 27, I switched over to a new, 1200W LED grow light.

Week4 🍓

Day 37 from seed. 2nd day into week 6. -My focus for this week is to keep room temperatures under 75 degrees since I notice that my roots don’t like high nutrients temp. And since I m in DWC single 5 gallons bucket I don’t have the possibility to chill the water. So I have to keep the room temp lower then I wish to. - Day 41- I have to add nutrients and PH down every 12 hours. My PPM’s goes from 450 to 390 and my PH drift from 5.7 to 6.2 in less then 12 hours. Also I notice some rust on older levels (probably Ca/Mg deficiency). After some research (I’m new to this) I decided to up the nutrients to 600 PPM’s. Hopefully is a good decision. I will really appreciate some feedback.

End of week 4 and this orange sherbet is finally pumping and has almost caught up to her sister (which I stunted this week 🤦‍♂️) I haven't defoliated or trained this girl, im going to leave her el natural for now. On day 27 I added a big dose of compost tea and she loved it, she's now praying to the lights and I'm stoked she's stoked Today on day 28 I repositioned the thermometer in the tent as it was too far from the plants, the girls were getting baked and not the good kind, they're all loving life now. Bueno esta semana ya regamos con guano de murciélago y abonamos con humus de lombriz hice unos riegos solo con agua después de eso y a los días ya arrancamos con el fertilizante de engorde , me gusta como bien esta muy fuerte y sana esperemos que siga así, vamos a ver la semana q viene como venimos

Today on Day 141 and at the same time @ the end of the 9th week of flowering it is Harvest day (final harvest) for the remaining two Tropicanna Banana's (Plants #1 and #3). Plant #4 was harvested on Day 134 (8th week of flowering) - see harvest pictures week 8 Plant #3 was harvested on Day 138 (9th week of flowering) - see harvest pictures week 9 Did not take any wet weights as i am drying the buds on the stalks and i dont wanna know how many stalkes i grew 😂 Will be back soon with the dry weights of each one of the four ladies. Some pacience is asked now 😬

One more week should do it. There are some amber trichs. But, not enough down the stem. And, I'd like just a little more bulk. Between the two, one more week won't hurt anything. As far as nutrients for the week, I've only been giving it about half dose of KoolBloom as a supplement to what is in the soil already. It worked well with this cultivar last time, too. The buds are about 1.5 inches wide. Or, 4cm to the rest of the world. I still don't get why the US won't change to metric!!
