Added: 36 gallons of Water CALMag- .75mil/Gal GH FLoraMicro-4.3mil/Gal GH FlroaGro-4.3mil/Gal GH FLroaBloom-6.5Mil/Gal Liquid KoolBloom 2.5mil/Gal TPS SIGNAL- 4.0mil/Gal ORCA-.5mil/Gal I setup my PH automation system.. I will start it running in 24 hours after the system settles in. Week 6 Day 2 10/29/2023 Going to be interesting.. I left the old monitor in to do a double check behind the new auto PH monitor.. not eh problem is I configured the New one and I am pretty sure that it is more accurate than the previous one I was using but the difference is 5.9 on the new one and 6.19 on the old. So it leaves me to questions if I was always running my PH higher but still just within safe range? or is this one off by that much. Questions, Questions.. But so far it is working I had to make several adjustments to dial in how much of each gets released but right now they are sitting around 5.9 Week 6 Day 3 10/30/2023 Worked on adjusting the auto PH system and I think I will need to change out some of the gear to make it work better.. Right now the suction/ flow rate has to be up to high in order to get the Up or down out of the Containers and the UP kicks on before the Down has a chance to settle.. I would have hoped there is a steady reading for X seconds before it starts the other.. but there isn't it is automatically kicking off the Up even while it is still adjusting from adding Down. Week 6 Day 4 10/31/2023 Today I did nothing but take some pics.. Nice day.. the experiment of the PH auto system is a bust as of right now.. the range is out of what I want.. and it keeps immediately kicking off without giving the water time to balance.. since this is a res system which the water moves.. not the best.. it doesn't have a wait time before release more.. and it keeps releasing even after it starts reading in range.. so it drops it lower than it should.. I could probably dilute the PH up and Down and make it a little more effective.. but not sure what I want to do at this point. Week 6 Day 5 11/01/2023 Today I did nothing but take some pics.. She seems to be happy happy and growing well..

For this week, plants are still looking healthy, followed the usual regime of normal water and nutrient feed pattern. I didn't fill the need to defoliate, so I mostly did some leaf tucking. At his stage, the two plants have filled up the box, and they still have room to grow horizontally, so a note to self to flower 2 clones a week early next grow.

Here is the update for actual week. The summer hits very hard - since almost 10 days in a row, we have 30°C outside and it was the right decision to set the day phase from 6pm to 6am. cutted down most of the fanleafes today. all trichomes turned opaque so i will start with the first "clear-water-flush" in 2 days and will flush them 4 times on any 3rd day!

Here we are, the 3 plants started flowering a little bit more than two weeks after the 12h/12h switch 😎 The Jack Herer is yellowing a bit but I started to use some Bio-Bloom, I hope it will help. I reduced the dehumidifier setpoint to 45%. With this setting, the humidity near the plants stays between 40 and 50%. Sometimes, I slightly open the room window to help to decrease the humidity. I have some arthropods called "Protaphorura" in my soil since the beginning of the grow. I didn't manage to take some pictures of them before now. First, because of the pot size, and then too many leaves. They also measure about 1mm long so it was not easy to get a correct shot. I always get some in my soil but from what I found on the internet and experienced, they are harmless. Some of the bottom leaves are starting to yellow a bit on the larger plant. It looks like trichomes are starting to push through on some of the leaves.

Beginning of week... She is doing her thing.. Slowly but surely lol.. Healthy as far as I can tell.. Maybe the reused coco is too reused? Idk. There is a bit of coco/perlite from my first grow in there lol.. Some others too.. But she is still truckin along.. Went up on the Armor Si (Silica) and a little on the FloraGro.. She does look like she is gonna beginning flowering very soon tho.. Pistils are forming slowly.. Much like the rest of this grow.. But she is starting.. I'm not going to start counting flower till I actually see that she is flowering.. Stretching and all.. That's how I like to count flower.. Always seems to line up perfectly when you count flower that way.. Even with photoperiods.. Not from the 12/12 flip because there is still 2 weeks of transition. Anyways.. Another week in the making... Next day... So my Mars Hydro is crapping out. I have to drop it down to 20 inches from the canopy and run it at 75%.. So pissed.. It glows when it is powered off and still plugged in.. And if I turn it on while the power is set to 100%.. It just blinks until I turn it down to 75%.. I can have it set to 75% and it will turn on like normal.. But I need to use 100% power.. And Mars Hydro sucks with responding to emails apparently.. I'm gonna have to buy a new one and return this POS.. Then hopefully buy a new stronger light for my 2x2.. I am so pissed.. Mars Hydro sucks.. The build is amazing.. The components are awesome when they are not flawed.. But damn this is the 3rd light to crap out on me in 2 years.. I do nothing but run them 18/6 or 12/12.. Run 1 fan on top at the driver and heatsink and 1 under toward the diodes.. Nothing different.. I think I'm gonna buy the Wakyme J-2000.. It comes with 2 fans blowing on the heatsink.. Honestly, noise is not an issue to me.. Heat is.. I sleep with all my fans running already lol.. Its actually hard to sleep without them now hahah.. But yeah. It has a Meanwell driver.. Samsung diodes.. Dimmer.. And the fans.. I think it's my best bet at this point.. Fuck Mars Hydro.. They had 3 chances with me.. My Sunraise 1000 (blurple) is like 4 years old and still running strong.. Smh.. Mars Hydro is crap. How did they even get so popular??? I'm sure more people will realize how crappy they really are.. No name brand everything.. Runs hot as ass.. Craps out after 3 - 4 months.. So so pissed... Almost mid week.. I went ahead and pulled a couple branches down a bit.. The canopy is perfectly even.. It looks AwEsOmE! Lol Mid week.. Well, she seems to be doing a bit better than before, I'd say. Normally, my previous autos would be flowering and probably almost finished stretching by now.. Live and learn.. I hope all the Zkittlez Autoflower seeds aren't like this.. And hopefully this strain turns out pretty dank to be wasting a few extra weeks on growth but not getting much growth at the same time.. And I hope harvest doesn't come quicker than the swelling of the calyxes.. But shit happens.. I have Mars Hydro sending me a new driver/dimmer. I sure hope it's just "plug-in" because if I'm going to take this light apart, I'm just going to go with the Meanwell HLG-240H-54B.. From what I was told from LEDSupplier dot com.. The 240W would be better due to the different current. We are still trying to figure out if the dimmer is 0-10V to see if I can just keep using the Mars Hydro dimmer along with the MeanWell HLG-240H-54B.. That would be cool.. Sorry but Mars Hydro sucks.. I bet running a different driver would help alot of issues.. Maybe even run cooler. Anyways.. About the plant lol.. She is doing great.. The stiples are still showing some weird colors on the tips.. Doesn't seem like an issue.. Some plants have the stems change colors.. Some have pistils change colors.. Some have leaves change colors.. Maybe that is just in her genetics.. The pics that ILGM shows, it should be a pretty colorful strain.. Guess we shall see! But she is happy and healthy.. I think I'm going to stop using Hydroguard next week.. Just doesn't seem like it's doing much of anything.. I really only bought it to fight root rot when I attempt DWC which I am going to attempt again very soon.. Maybe after this grow... We shall see... Almost end of week.. Went ahead and defoliated/lollipopped a bit. She was getting too bunched together.. She is nice and opened up now.. 2 side branches stayed pretty short.. Not sure what that is all about.. Flowers are slowly forming at this point. Next week will be week 1 of flower and stretching should begin! She is still getting good light even with the power only being at 75%.. Just have it down lower.. Which I could get away with till harvest.. But fuck that. I ordered a new Mars Hydro TS 1000.. And Mars Hydro is also sending me a new driver/dimmer box to replace the old one.. Going to return the light and I still want to replace the stock driver with the MeanWell.. Trying to get more professional opinions before I attempt that tho.. So far, I am hearing to get the HLG-240H-54B.. The 150H (150W) doesnt have the correct current so I'd have to go with the 240H (240W) due to the output current and voltage to match correctly. Can't wait to try it out! End of week.. So I got a new Mars Hydro TS 1000 in.. It comes with a Moso driver instead of the old Juson driver.. Hmm.. Ok.. Seems to not heat up as much.. The diodes still get hot, but the lack of the driver heat should help keep things cool.. Nice... I am able to raise the light back up and run her at 100% power.. I went ahead and tied the branches down a little more.. There are 2 that are still staying a little short.. But I think it's the way I started the whole LST process.. I should have tied down a different 90° angle instead of the angle I used.. But live and learn.. Wont use that way again lol.. Other than that, the flowers are forming nicely.. Happy happy happy.. Next week will begin flower! Niceeee.. On to the next!!!...

Grow notes week 3 #1 This plant is healthy and thriving. She’s the first to show pistols which means I should change her status to flowering but I won’t do that until it’s pretty obviously in flower. She’s taking the training nicely and I think I’m starting to figure things out when it comes to training.. the trick is to simply SLOW DOWN. #2 is looking great! Her leaves are healthy and node spacing is just how I like it to look. She likes LST and seems happy with the maxi grow/bloom series. The roots on each plant are healthy and white #3 is getting greener each day but I’m starting to believe it’s either genetics or this nutrient line that’s causing this effect. #4 is the thickest and biggest plant of the bunch. However, she is displaying rust spots and potential calcium or iron deficiency on the lower older leaves. I may have to feed heavier on cal mag while running this nutrient line up. So another week and some more thickening and ripening. The smell is like blueberry on one and the others are sweet as well. Slightly different smell to each. Watering when dry still at pH 6-6.6 and monitoring overall plant trichomes. At this point it's autopilot to the end. No more feeding with slow release and will slowly flush the remaining food out next few weeks. I like my trichomes to have some amber, not too much but mostly cloudy with some amber. Seems like most will be dense, except one plant I've called corona virus. It has smaller buds but are really resinous and smelly. Cheers and happy growing!

Week 6 - Transition to Flower (First Bloom Week) The Donutz squad has officially entered the bloom phase, kicking off the first week of flower in style. The upgrade to 7L pots has gone smoothly, and the plants are thriving in their new space. Monday marked the start of the flowering cycle, and everything is set up for an efficient and productive Sea of Green. Setup Adjustments: Canopy Leveling: The taller plants in the front row are left as-is, while the shorter ones in the back have been placed on top of the empty 3.7L pots. This ensures an even canopy for maximum light distribution. Defoliation: Everything under the net that wouldn’t develop into usable bud — based on past experience — has been trimmed away. The focus is now entirely on the top canopy and cola production. Nutrients & Care: Flowering Nutrients: Greenhouse Feeding Bloom is in play, with 30g applied per 7L pot (following the recommended 3-5g per liter). This should carry the plants through the stretch phase and provide a strong start for flower development. Watering: Still cruising with reverse osmosis (RO) water, keeping things clean and steady. Light Intensity: Slowly ramping up the light week by week to avoid shocking the plants, aiming for full intensity once they’ve settled into the flowering phase. Plans for the Stretch & Beyond: A second net is ready to go for after the stretch, ensuring the canopy remains supported and those fat nugs don’t collapse under their own weight. Continued monitoring of canopy height and plant health as they shift their energy into flowering. Observations: The Donutz are responding well to the flowering transition, with no visible stress. The even canopy and clean lollipop structure are setting the stage for optimal bud production. Everything is lining up perfectly for a strong flowering run. The Donutz are about to shine, and the tent is poised to deliver a heavy, uniform harvest. The Florida Gang energy is real — time to watch the nugs stack!

7/16/22 Today marks the 1st day of week 14, and the start of the 2nd week of the ripening stage. Stella received a gallon of water mixed with the following nutrients: FloraMicro - 5 ml FloraBloom - 15 ml Floralicious Plus - 1 ml Dry KoolBloom - 0.5 tsp. I seem to be having an issue with pH the last 2 feeding days. I think my gallon jugs have reached the end of their lifetimes, and THAT is what is causing my issue. It has happened to me once before, and getting new jugs cleared up the issue. I’m assuming that will be the solution to the problem. However, we all know what “assume” stands for don’t we? If you don’t, leave a comment and I’ll explain. The initial pH was 5.4. That is the lowest that I have ever had simply after adding nutrients. I added a total of 10 ml’s of pH UP, which in my opinion is way too much! But, I did it in 3 separate increments. Not that that makes it better. The final pH after all that was 6.3. The runoff pH was 5.6. She is still looking good, but you can tell she’s getting ready to start getting to her end stage. I wait with baited breath! The tent was 81.7F, with a humidity of 56%. We’re almost there! Happy growing everyone. 7/18/22 Today I’m going to keep this note brief… I promise. Stella is continuing to fatten up getting ready for harvest in a few weeks. She is still doing well. Today she received a gallon of water mixed with the ripen stage nutrients again. I changed all of my jugs, but after mixing everything up the initial pH was 5.5. I added 8 ml’s of pH UP which adjusted the pH going in to 6.2. Her runoff pH was 5.6. The tent was 83.3F, with humidity at 58%. See! A short note is possible!! Happy growing everyone. 7/21/22 Stella and all of her children were fed today. As usual, a day later than planned, but they got fed, and are all still doing wonderful. We’re keeping with the ripen nutrients mixed into a full gallon of water. FloraMicro - 5 ml FloraBloom - 15 ml Floralicious Plus - 1 ml Liquid KoolBloom - 2 ml Initial pH was 5.2. I added 12 ml’s of pH UP which adjusted it to 6.2. She had plenty of runoff with a pH of 5.8 The tent was 83.9F, and humidity was 52%. Her buds are FAT!! Happy growing everyone!
