Okay so I’ve been slacking a bit on the grow-diaries, only because I’ve had a lot going on and also because I don’t feel obligated to do so because this isn’t a sponsored grow. It’s been nice to have a little break but I think I’m ready to come back at it full force again. These girls are living their best lives, they are all the same age and they are all thriving. Floraflex nutrients, as well as some Silica, Regina-root, and a trichome enhancer called “Grease”!! Seems like the real deal. Watering every other day and let me tell you these girls are very thirsty. Defol as needed! My new HLG Blackbird lamp fixture is out of this world. My 3 autos that you can also find in my profile absolutely blew up. I typically fit 4 autos in my 3x3 but now it’s essentially one Purple punch from Fastbuds and I had to cram 2 more inside basically because they are going crazy. Unfortunately I had to move them from under the blackbird and put them under a HLG350R and they are still going crazy. Basically what I’m saying is HLG Lamps=Crazy growth and amazing lamps!! Method 📊📊📊 She trained incredibly well and recovered faster from topping than the NL did to a fim. This grow was a slightly different take on a traditional manifold leaving the top growth tips from each 2nd node (first topping) in place. This gave us 10 main colas as opposed to eight and we also left in a few extra shoots which proved to yield just that little bit extra.😉. If we had the space we would’ve stuck with 8 monster colas. Instead, we tried to squeeze usable bud out of every square inch. Maintenance was a bit of a bitch - had to defo numerous times to keep the light penetration optimal. Which brings us to the grow light - I won’t say it was ineffective cause that’s just not true. But, if this one had gotten much bigger we’d have seen some serious diminishing returns in bud quality. The tops and middles of each 10-12” cola were dense and chunky but the lower buds on the outer branches were like giant fluffy larf pillows. Thankfully there weren’t too many of these and I might’ve been able to solve this issue with some yo-yo’s if I wasn’t so damn lazy and “😜” when work’n on the garden. So, grow light review now that we’re through a few cycles - vipar spectra gets a 6/10 from me. It will grow solid, quality bud but certainly has its limitations. Their manual says it’s 450w should cover a space roughly twice the size of mine. I disagree and actual wattage draw is more like 200w. I’m gonna try to stick to photoperiod SCROGs with it in the future. Only real way to max out it’s effectiveness. Big plus - it’s about perfect for this particular space: 1:. Medium 🎛️🎛️🎛️🎛️ Coco is now the go-to medium in lieu of soil when we grow indoors. I can’t specifically say that the growth time is sped up compared to soil because I’m always growing something different but - she did recover very quickly from her toppings and the drainage is wayyyyy better. The fact that it’s nute neutral allows us to dictate exactly what the plant receives at all times. IMO - more manageable and precise than soil. Include a regular diet of calmag and ur good to grow.: 1: Yield🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 Oh man what a gong show😎. The book on this one says that you’ll end up having to add support for her as bud weight becomes a serious issue in late flower. RQS is absolutely right, I had three smaller colas on the perimeter stretch for the last corner of light and they just got weighed down by the bud and pretty much fell over😂. We like this. Now the numbers - i did the math twice (and while sober just to make sure😉), you don’t wanna do it, it sucked, so you’ll just have to trust me: 1:. Total dried yield for the kush alone: 3.32oz. This crushes the single plant yield for any strain grown in this cabinet to date by well over an 1oz. : 1:😎. Total harvest yield across both plants: 4.99oz. This also crushes the record yield per cycle in the cabinet by a full ounce!: 1:😎👌💪🤩. The stats say an avg. of 500-550g/m2. Based on the rough size of my cabinet the avg. should be 131.25g/0.25m2.... our actual harvest across both strains - 140.6/0.28m2. This strain was everything the breeders promised. All the buds were purple and some fan leaves turned pink. She isn’t really dripping in resin but I still needed gloves during trim.

Day 49 - 10/28/2020 End of Week 7 and now into Week 8! The two Liz's are both the bigger plants as the Chocolate Mint OG over-grew the Chem-Bomb Autos from my other diary. Even though both CMOG Auto seeds sprouted later/struggled to start the stress seems to have worked in my favour as it has in the past. I let them dry out a bit and gave them the final defoliation and LST set up to pull apart the plant and get light to all the secondary sites. Popsicle Sticked the bottoms of the smaller sites that would have taken energy away for larf so each site should be set up for quality over quantity. These are the two biggest auto plants I have grown so far so I am excited to see how thick the buds get on this one with the addition of the OG Kush Auto genetics compared to my Chocolate Mint OG Photo grow. Seems like the two I popped have really cut out the GrandDaddyPurp influence in the original photo line. No grape smell yet. Upped the nutes and molasses on the first feed yesterday Oct 28th. Took it well and no burning so after my next plain water ill add a bit more for the end of week 3 of flower. I didn't get them under the ScrOG in time because i had a partial brake on a Chem-Bomb so you can see in the group pictures i just applied the classic "tie to my pot" LST 😂 Will try to update for Week 8 ASAP, been back to work past few weeks so my free time to update has been cut down unfortunately. Day 40-47 (May 31st- June 7th) (Day 41) For the first time in this grow these plants are looking halfway decent. Smell is ramping up too. I finally feel optimistic about this grow. (Day 42) The two jacks and the chunky blueberry are showing early signs of N/Mg deficiencies. I know it’s late in flower but since I’m experimenting with this tent, I’m going to give them one final feeding of nature’s pride 2-5-5.5 (tbsp) along with a teaspoon of oyster shell flour and some rock dust. Everything else I’m going to give a teaspoon of rock dust and oyster shell. There is no way these amendments will fully break down in time to be used by the plant but they could at least use the pH buffering and trace amounts of minerals after their recent leach. Everything but the BAOGC is covered in pistils that don’t really match their bud size. I hope they fill into their pistils because an over abundance of hairs drops the bag appeal like crazy. Over the last few cycles, indoor and outdoor, I’ve definitely learned that different strains and phenotypes mature at different times. Sometimes really radically too. (Day 43) None of the plants are fading at all but they’re still looking good. Black garlic I know should be fading but remains dark green and toxed. I popped a developing seed out of the main bud too. I wonder if that blueberry herm branch pollinated it at all. It seems like plants don’t really like that Destiny dark matter soil by itself. I find it works better mixed with coco or promix 1:1. (Day 44) I’m starting to think I might be mixing up the TWOG and BAOGC. BAOGC took forever to fatten up last round and the 2 phenos I suspected already look done. I was thrown off by the similar terps. The beauty phenos are definitely TWOG (Day 45) God these Jack Herer’s smell good. Nothing but fruity funk. Almost like a vanilla or blueberry yogurt. I would say this stuff has the most overpowering smell in the tent now. I’ve noticed they’re starting to foxtail like crazy. Blueberry#1 too. I’m watering a final low strength feeding of seaweed extract on everything. (Day 47) Everything really fattened up this week. Even at the beginning of the week I was saying I didn’t think they would fill out. Jack Herer and BAOGC specifically made some big gains and nearly doubled their density and still have quite a way to go on them too! The smell has ramped up and finally, everything is looking happy and healthy.

I am really happy that the plant is so beautiful. I am 100% sure that in better conditions it can give even more, now there is little time left to harvest. bye growers OKeyyy now the harvest day is 23/05! i love this strain ! looking for the second plant ;D

Really just a video from this week but I think I was a week or 2 behind anyways lol just so y’all can see some real color of my girls. Still haven’t named em but I’ll be doing that in the next week I’m switching em to 12 gradually within the next week to experiment with some stretching during the transition compared to a straight 12 switch
