Aug 10: Blueberry Pie F1 Fast is doing great. Three weeks now moving her into the garage which is enough, and now I can just leave her in the yard which is easier and scores another couple hours of sunlight per day. Nice solid start to flowering, and I like the schedule used this year for the force flowering. This strain is delivering on the promise of being big and fast. Bright sunny day and I’ve got the UV lights on. About five hours today with the UV lights at mid-day. Buds are looking really good. The bud development after 3 weeks is amazing. The buds got visibly much fatter just today. Compared to some fast plants in previous years, this one is about 2-3 weeks ahead. Very well suited to short season outdoor growing, but partially due to full darkness in the garage rather than just phyto-forcing with the far red light as I did last year. I’m still using the far red light, but putting them in the garage provides more darkness and helps get strong flowering started. Aug 12: nice fat buds forming quickly, gotta like that. Aug 14: fast, fast, fast. Flowers are progressing quickly. Added three tablespoons of a 50:50 mix of Power Bloom and malted barley. Added as top dressing and then watered in. Aug 16: cool, overcast all day, a bit of rain and smoky so not a nice mid-August day. Rain should help but out some fires in northeast BC, Yukon, and northwest Alberta. maybe. I got a smart plug for my humidifier and modded the button with an Arduino so that it turns on automatically when powered. Now I have events in my home Assistant on raspberry pi which will keep the VPD within a specified range. Every since then, the plants have been SO much happier and I have piece of mind now. I'm hoping these plants can pull through the stress, but I planted 4 more bag seeds just in case, they will sprout soon. I did some LST because why not. Accidentally broke a stem but I squeezed it together so now I have to pray.

This is the end of week 10 and the beginning of week 11 of veg. About another month of veg for these girls, before going into flowering near the end of May. The plants are healthy and doing good. They are just getting rainwater for now. There's lots of compost in the pots for them to feed from. they just need to get their roots into it. OK. Be Great. Chuck.

HOLY CANNOLI! seriously man these things won't give me a freaking break. the good news is that I think chalking my first journal up to a failure led me to flip sooner and dang are these ladies tall! I'm talking WNBA tall lol. Don't hate me but I had no choice with the room's size and learning from the mistakes last time this plant will be under this first SCRO for up to week 3 of flower lol. It gets too dang big otherwise and even though it may be dumb I thought it best to try and I ended up breaking a lot of limbs haha. I taped up some though and I figured this would be the best learning experience in the opposite direction to see just how rough I can be with Vegged plant being flipped. I'm also going to be on top of nutrients better and get that Canna PK in there before the top shooter, booster, and bud Xl. I also have the RH on lock a lot better with a bigger drain bucket for the dehumidifier so it can run continuously with so many plants. I also decided to have some fun and bring the SCROG out and work under the canopy to get something bigger. I do regret the way I overlapped a lot of colas in the corners but it can't be helped with their height. Wish me luck and yell at me yall lol. Also, does anyone have a good example of what a bud should really look like throughout flower. a pheno that matches mine really.

Dutch Passion Week 0 DP is a new company for me so let me just say that their unboxing experience is truly fantastic. You get a nice little sealed tin box, loads of nice writing on it , inside a vacuum sealed bag, some cool story about the gens and how to grow on the inside of the lid aswell, it's an absolute pleasure opening these, if you want more pics of this just drop me a message, truly one of the best efforts i've seen for this for sure. I made a 1L solution with just a few drops of my specially made kelp extract, see the video how thick it is compared to store-bought stuff lol, and put some of that in a glass, dropped these seeds in the glass, cover to protect from the light and let that sit for one night to activate the seed. The next day one of these had cracked its shell already, i'm digging these genetics already, let's see how they do ! placed them in a propagator , covered with some dirt to protect from the light, now they're chilling covered, let's see how many sprout ! hopefully all of them ! they came out strong within a day 2 had cracked the surface, the second day they all had cracked the surface, the third day they already started stretching due to my broken propagator, on the fourth day you can see their roots sticking out on the picture, i decided to transplant them early because they were already stretching and the broken propagator wasn't making me happy. fed them plain tap water with a tea spoon once. I do like the RQS propagator i got from Zambeza, and even though it was broken it did make the whole germination much easier, i would definitely recomend the starter kit from zambeza so far, but i decided not to try any of their genetics until next round, which starts soon anyway... see you for next week's update !

I accidently snapped the main stem at the base during the first week of flower essentially super cropping her. Electrical tape and lint roller tape on the inside was used to hold the main stem up straight. she healed very well and then took off into a monster. I would have liked to take her further but she could not support her own weight and used that as a sign she was ready. At that point I had already been using electrical tape to hold the the steams together for the previous 2 weeks. Would be interesting to see how this strain would grow in my bigger 20 and 30 gal fabric pots as I struggled to keep up with organic dry amendments, especially calcium and magnesium, almost every watering calmag and lime dust was used for the last month of the grow. Currently harvesting 2 other think different strains and have been preparing 3 smaller pots for either some RQS Titans or a competition strain if I receive something in the post in the next 2/3 weeks. I have been growing for 5 years now from Chronic Nerve pain and I did not get past the flowering stage in my first grow, necessity is the mother of all drivers and if you want good bud, don't stop trying.

Day 43-49 Using 60g per l soil. They dont stretch that much. So u can really veg them sooo big in my opinion. I didnt but enjoy anyways! I think last week i put net in and out. This time it gets in for sure!
