Week 5 for Moby dick, Wow really didn't expect this explosion of growth compared to last week, this plant really really push hard now. Wasn't really on the cards to LST this girl but her lowers just started pushing so much i thought it would be a waste to not stretch her out bushy. Also defoliated a few leaves that were blocking light from a few of the lower branches. Am thinking of moving her outdoors very soon to care advantage of some outdoor sun. We can also now say for sure she's in pre-flower throwing out so many white hairs. 😎 Very happy with how shes doing atm.

Parece que ha terminado de estirar. Practico una defoliación intensa para airear los futuros cogollos y dejar mas espacio en el cuarto de cultivo. Hi everyone 😁 Welcome back in another week update! Have to say girls are looking stunning 😍 frost it's almost everywhere. Trichomes on some buds up to 30% amber and progressing by hour. They are gaming weight on buds nicely as well. Aroma OMG I am sensing ripe sweet fruits, a bit woody and gasy. Runoff approx. 50-100ml. 04/10 Day 73 Everything going great. More amber trichomes, almost all pistils hairs are brown. These girls are almost ready. The Day it's just around the corner. 05/10 Day 74 Last watering, in the morning approx. 1.5l per pot. At midnight lights out for good. 06/10 Day 75 Uploaded 2 clips from last night. Trichomes are on point. Some buds 50-70% amber and they did gained some weight overnight. Just one more night of darkness and will harvest! 😎 07/10 Day 76 It's done!!! Harvested and trimmed. This plant came down after 115 days of life, and 59 days of flower. I enjoyed everything about this plant for the entire grow. It didn't give me any problems with nutrients that were hard to handle. It had minor burns at the tips, but that's usually what I'm looking for in my nutrient levels - right at the limit. The plant became super smelly towards the end. So much so that I got a letter about it 😶. It got even smellier when it was trimming. I'm really looking forward to seeing how these buds will look after drying up. I'm really hoping to see extra dense buds with some heft to them.

Day 70!!! This week was really hot, when the sun shone on it, the thermometer showed 40°. I think her roots don't like it very much, the girl needs to be watered every day, sometimes even 2 times a day :) I also removed the yellow leaves of the marigolds, there was also a really strong wind, which is why I had to cover the girl a little so that she wouldn't break the branches :) I'm leaving tomorrow for a short 5-day vacation, then these days I'll ask her to come and water once every 2 days, I hope that will be enough for her :) good luck to everyone.

09/11/2019 Start of week 3

Hola y gracias por pasarte a ver mi diario. Ya he cultivado esta variedad anteriormente y siempre me ha gustado su sabor especiado. La planta creció sin ningún problema pero con carencia de nitrógeno desde mitad de la fase de crecimiento. Al ser un cultivo 100% orgánico y únicamente con riegos de agua del grifo sin añadir abonos líquidos era esperable, creo que con unos ajustes en la mezcla del sustrato hubiese obtenido mejores resultados aunque el hecho de añadir todos los nutrientes al sustrato me ha permitido facilitar la tarea del riego y no tener que realizar el lavado de raíces. La planta se desarrolló en una maceta de 50L y ha producido 230g de cogollos secos, esponjosos y con una relación flores/hojas no muy buena. El olor de las flores húmedas era intenso con toques especiados. Respecto a plagas y enfermedades ha sido muy resistente, no he apreciado signos de araña roja, pulgón ni trips gracias al aporte de harina de Neem en el sustrato. Tampoco he sufrido el temido y habitual ataque de las orugas (ni la oruga de las hojas ni la del cogollo) gracias a las pulverizaciones en las fechas clave con Bacillus Thuringiensis. Tampoco se ha visto afectada por el Oídio que normalmente aparece al final de la floración en la zona donde vivo, ni botrytis El clima también me ha acompañado este año, vivo en una zona cálida donde la temperatura suele ser óptima para el cultivo de exterior de cannabis, el mes de mayo llovió algún día de forma agradable, junio, julio y agosto fueron especialmente secos, solo llovió un par de noches a finales de agosto, y septiembre también ha sido muy respetuoso lloviendo solo 2 veces. Por todo esto, siendo la primera vez que elaboro un supersoil, estoy seguro que para la temporada 2022 repetiré el sistema, haciendo algunos ajustes a la mezcla para evitar estas carencias que he comentado. Quiero agradecer a Growdiaries.com la herramienta que nos brinda a los cultivadores (en mi caso cultivador clandestino) para poder realizar el seguimiento de nuestros cultivos y como, en mi caso particular, ha hecho que mi motivación y trabajo hayan sido una constante semana tras semana, por lo que ha influido directamente en el buen resultado final de la cosecha.
