End of Week 8 (First week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1200ppm and the ladies love it, already started stretching within the first 3 days of flower which shows that CO2 definitely boosts the grow cycle of cannabis. The main top-sites are popping up everywhere and everything looks evenly spread out. I defoliated again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites. I also did one last lower canopy maintenance and removed small and stalky bud sites and stems below the trellis net to make sure I get maximum energy distribution to the main colas. I also added some GHF BioEnhancer to make sure the soil-microbes are happy and that the plants reach their maximum potential. Pest Report: EXTERMINATED! Thrips VS Ladybugs VS Neem Oil... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. Then to be extra sure I know that neem oil hinders the life cycle of pests like thrips causing them to stop colonising in my grow room. So I sprayed the ladies every day during the dark period to make sure there are no pests that I or the Ladybugs have missed. Mission accomplished. No more wilting and definitely no more thrips.

We are only on day 29 from first planting the seed. This last week I’ve been doing a lot of work to the girls . I even MADE A NEW INVENTION for my MARS HYDRO lights so I can get a full rotation ... almost 9 out of the 10 plants are being trained /defoliate for mainlining .. and yes I know that’s not they way most people do it.. I’m doing a little custom mainline with 2 nodes instead of just 1. I’ve definitely been under feeding them the last week and a half so I caught on to that and started making sure they get all the water/nutrients they need. (QUESTION)!!! Does anybody know why my Blueberry’s 2 new tops are looking like the leaves are filling up with little air bubbles?

Supercropped one tall branch of the Red Mandarine #2. Hope it doesn't hurt the yields. Plants have been recovering and are mostly green now. There's some serious stretch going on in this tent! Flowering is happening really quick especially with the Mandarines. I moved the lights after I discovered a lux meter app. I had as low as 10,000 in some places, so not only are the lights closer to the canopy but I angled them to get more light down to the shorter plants. Just reset the clone fridge and they were all looking healthy except two which I didn't put enough water in.

Watermelon auto is hurting this week. The neem oil spray is always so harsh on my plants. I am trying a different a way of spraying them, spray, wait a half hour, and rinse off. But leave on the under side of leaves. Since they like to hide there. Hopefully it will help. I have not seen new ones on this plant. They were on another. It has been a horrible year for issues in my grows. 10 days of darkness during the flush begins. Had great results with Wanda and her genetics. Blessed for a first grow. Cut Wanda down at the end of the week. She’s now drying. I will be giving a thorough review for my harvest diary. Excited to share what I’ve experienced and learned from this grow.

En general me encanto cultivar esta genética, siempre fue la primer genética que quise cultivar desde que empecé en esto y no me decepciono en lo absoluto, de una sola semilla obtuve 106 gramos de flores de gran calidad 😃 increíble para ser mi primer cosecha con semillas de bancos, ya quiero ver que resulta en la próxima cosecha ya con más experiencia y mejor equipo 🤩

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Well, not much has changed, so it's kind of like 'same same but different' around here. The plants are still vibing, doing their thing, just with a little more oomph this week.

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Really surprised with how everyone turned out! Everyone is starting to flower but Kayla definitely got the lead in terms of pistils and bud sites. These ladies still need to be LST every other day. Looking forward to an early harvest!

It's been a pretty easy week. Enjoying watching the buds get thicker! Just going to coast to the end at this point....hoping to harvest within the next 2 weeks. Already getting excited for my next grow...thinking Ethos Planet of the Grapes or Ethos Crescendo.
