Welcome to Week 8! All seems to be going well. Two of the Apple Betty plants have fan leaves that are yellowing, but I think it’s because they are getting close to harvest time (about 2 weeks out). I’m trying to maintain a temp of 75-80F and 60% humidity.

To push the pest resistance test even further (so far, the plants have shown resilience against fungus gnats, thrips, and excessive humidity), it’s getting too risky to allow the gnats to continue affecting my roots. As a test, I sieved fine sand from my garden and spread it over the soil to eliminate the gnats' living space. I gave the plants a good watering before applying the sand, and now I’ll leave it like this for a week. By the end of the week, I plan to repot them anyway, so we’ll see if this method clears up the gnat problem.

420FASTBUDS FBT2107 WEEK 7 These 2 beautys couldn't be growing any better than the way the are. Both have a bunch of flower sites that are maturing nicely. I did give a light defoliation to the lower nodes on the branches. Could almost say a little lollipoping. Happy Growing

No nutrients added letting the ocean forest to run out all the way the lemon cherry cookies is about 1 week not two but they are both going well and decided to pop some og kush as well

Another smooth week as the girls continue to do their thing, buds keep stacking up & putting on size. NL & DD-OG have some super solid, dense, sticky & Big buds. GG has done really well this grow, really bushy produced heaps of branches. Only problem with this strain is the thin weak branches can't support much weight & as buds get bigger the branch just falls over, I super cropped a few branches as they were over 3 + foot high & were hitting the light, this helped to strengthen the branch others bent over & grew horizontal, like they were in a scrog, which it would be perfect for. GG is getting some nice nugs, different to the NL & DD-OG not as dense , grow a little different but some nice super sticky buds😀👍

DRYING TIME

Finally my last harvest of this season and i have to say, Mac finished it like the queen she is.😎👌 No, her yield was not the biggest (she was in 6.5L pot so ..) but the taste is just exquisite! its sweet and earthy .. and the effects are very balanced 👍 Its a hybrid but feel i can still take a nap after a big vape (i tested her yesterday afternoon as well)..so i think indica is the dominat one here.. not sure though.. could also just b i vaped too much (or used too much THC oil yesterday😉 ) Buds are very compact and frosty... am very happy with this lady.. beautiful flowers she had with all kinds of soft violet and pink colours.. I had to harvest a bit early bc weather was getting very bad and my greenhouse/safehouse was kaput..(note 2 self: buy new cover!) But that only resulted in me throwing the lower buds away (another note 2 self: next year, do some HST!) I can def. recommend her, a beautiful plant to grow and so smooth to vape! She did great in my lil'garden in Amsterdam with very few sunrays and lots of rain (yeah but i am content. for amsterdam standards it was great👊) Luckily no caterpillers or WPM this year .. (butterflies knew they where NOT welcome here, with all the demons in my garden 😁.. see diaries of my big demons😉) The end of summer was real smooth as well, she was able to be in garden till middle of september!🙌 So time 2 hibernate.. Its good bc i need it, think most of u know by now that i am batling MS and grow Cannabis for my medicine (there is none for MS and i cant handle the pain medication..) and to say it short, it has been..f hard this summer.. Day 111. First is ready, second week behind, third maybe even 3 weeks behind .... Plus they are LEAFY ,!!!! Trim jail ... Wet trim for all of them - no doubts !!! Day 115. Still hanging, slowly drying and result should be decent at the end ... A week more I guess, very humid in UK ... Day 118. First trimmed - 175 g. Other is chopped ! One still grows ... Day 136. June 28: Tropicana Cookies FF is progressing nicely and well timed for the end of June. Supercropped (HST) the two main stems to bring the outer growth tips to the same elevation as the four inner ones. Taped with floral tape to stabilize after supercropping. watered with about 0.5 tsp/gallon of Extreme Blend which is half strength. June 29: plant looks very happy today and it’s warm and sunny. July 2: did final (third?) round of topping to get from 8 to 16 colas. Unlike some others I’ve grown, this plant is nicely symmetrical which should be easy to manage. Fairly tall which is fine.
